A lot of work, but worth it…
I love what you said about not having to be an expert ( ad-lib) to make beautiful things is key to enjoying life … Thank you ❤
Definitely! And also making something by hand just makes it extra special already 🥰❤️
Gosh it's so fun to see the progress of these pretty items!! I just love how the lustre gives it a bit more extra magic. Thank you for showing little pieces of your progress and your thoughts behind it
Thank you for watching!! I am definitely addicted on putting lustre on everything now 🫢
For making your loops, just place the bead or pendant on the wire, hold tight, bend wire to the side, cut excess wire. Usind round nose pliers make your loop. That's all. Your work looks great! I like it!
Thank you for the tips!! I’m slowly getting the hang of it with lots of practice 😋
"Please, don't copy my designs"
Her designs: 🥀💫😻🥰
I love this. I'm trying to make my own earrings too. Did I hear you say you can put "underglaze on top of the glaze"? I was hoping you'd show the finished product with that underglaze over glaze. How did it turn out? Thanks.
You can put the underglaze on top! It will melt into the glaze underneath and usually is a bit more Matt than the glaze you’re using. But I’ve also had a couple of times where it became a little rough. I would definitely make some tests with your glazes before you try it on your real pieces!
@CaitlinBongers thank you so much. I will definitely try that!!
Did you use porcelain? What was the kiln temp. for 1st glaze fire? How long on hold (or soak)? Thank you for sharing. Sandra, Enland
Hi it’s not porcelain! It’s stoneware clay that can be fully cured between 950-1250C. My bisque and glaze fire both were 1050C in this case.
I’m not sure what you mean with hold or soak!
Can we use kitchen stove for baking or drying in pot by making steam
I have no klin
Ceramics need to be baked in a kiln! Before I had one I used to bake my work in a kiln at a pottery in the city.
Heatproof wire really work?
You have to get kanthal wire! It can take temperatures up to 1300C
Girl, what’s that table tho it raised up by itself?
Its a flexispot desk! I love mine a lot ❤️
Iron planted in that ceramic jewelry??? What material is it????
It’s a special thread that is able to withstand the heat of a kiln! I believe it’s made of Nichrome (gets a little bit more brittle after firing)
@@CaitlinBongers thank you so much~~~~~~^^
