I’ve been on the biggest DFB binge recently getting myself hyped up for my upcoming trip in June! I appreciate your attention to detail and fair judgements, especially your comments about good plant based options since I am the only vegetarian in my party. This year I think I am going to venture out on my own while my family accommodates the kiddos, it would be interesting to see a video on suggestions or tips for solo visitors!
Thank you for these videos, this series is my absolute favourite you’ve done! You’ve been really helpful for planning the next trip, could you do one of these videos for all the resort restaurants to finish the series? I know it’s a bit of an ask but it would really finish off the series!
To all the folks who work on filming and editing these videos: good job! That was a marathon! I appreciate the info so much. I went to Disney in March and hadn’t been since the days of Downtown Disney. Wow, did I underestimate the size and scope of the place. I think I only explored about 40% of it! My next trip is planned for early 2023 and I’m enjoying planning out everything I missed this time around. Thanks again for the awesome info!
I’m a bit of a visual learner though, with deaf friends. I’d love to see the list as she ranks them to help keep it straight. Other than that these are heavenly. Thank you thank you thank you DFB crew!
This video is perfect for my family's nearing trip. We are going on a Universal vacation this year, but we will be taking multiple trips to Disney Springs for dinner.
I got the lobster Mac and cheese at the food truck as a snack expecting it to be a very small portion considering the price and got like a pound of Mac and cheese with a lot of seafood. It was amazing but I also had a reservation an hour later
I recently learned the full jack of all trades quote, and I was surprised to learn that it was never meant to be a dig. "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." 🥰
Morimoto's is our favorite the Peaking Duck is AMAZING! You don't know you love duck until you try it. It's great for two. Raglan Road is another of our favorites.
YES!!! I have been waiting for this ranking!!! I absolutely love this series! My family is planning a trip this fall and these videos have been a huge help in the process! I know it will be a huge undertaking but I would love to see a ranking of all the food at the resorts!
Cooke's of Dublin is usually our first stop when we get done checking in, day 1. The food is so reliable. The outside seating is tight, but mostly very nice. From one fried food joint to another, good job y'all.
That was AMAZING!! Thank you for the run down..we plan to visit the day before our Disney trip and this is perfect to show our daughter (picky eater...LOL) to see what she wants and so for it's the Hanger bar!!
Jaleo was a 10/10 for me. The Carne Asada was incredible and I loved sharing with my family. We got to try so many different dishes. I did think the Paella, which was chicken the day we were there was the most meh of what we had. I do wish it was a squid ink one. Sounds amazing. Moriomoto Asia is another really great choice. The sashimi and sushi are amazing!
I love this video. It gave really good advice and insight. I did lose it at 33:30 when you said "Frontera CoCHina". "Cochina" in spanish means "dirty girl". It is pronounced "co-See-na".
I came to the comme to just to comment on this😅😅😅 I'm just listening to the video as background noise and burst out laughing. I figured she meant "Co-seen-a" but just to hear "cochina" in a restaurant name made me laugh out loud.
how did I get into binge listening on this channel. one summer i searched disney on youtube as i wanted to keep up with a park i'll probably never visit again. i found this, binged the lot back then, and also tpm vids. very good.
Absolutely love these lengthy ranking videos you do! I actually was pretty surprised to hear that Wolfgang got such a high rating, a lot of the Disney community/bloggers give it a couple thumbs down lol
Finally watched this video which I think is great, you are always very informative. I probably will not make everyone happy but I finally got into Gideon's and I thought it was just ok, so I thought it was ranked to high. I am not a huge fan of the cookies but the cake was fantastic. Theming is so cool, I do love it. I will need to give Gideon's another try. Thanks for the great content.
This video is amazing! Thank you so much for the in depth reviews of every single location! I only have one night at Disney Springs and wanted a great meal and you’ve helped me narrow it down to a few locations that I’m sure will be fantastic. Thanks again!
I love these ranking videos! I also would love seeing resorts restaurant rankings-maybe grouping by proximity like all the all stars or allthe boardwalk+yacht/beach+swan/dolphin? For me, my family is staying at dolphin in February 2023 and we’ve never stayed or eaten on property outside the parks. We definitely want to eat outside the parks sometimes for a breather
Love your videos. I like how you mention vegetarian options and restaurants that have allergy options. I would like a video that mentions places that have sugar free or heart healthy options.
Haven’t been to every spot here yet but The Boathouse is by far my favorite sit down restaurant in DS. I know Planet Hollywood gets a bad rap but my wife and I ended up going there twice on our last trip. We had such a great experience our first time and returned as a last minute option to try the appetizer Ferris wheel sampler. Not the best thing I’ve ever eaten but it was enjoyable and the restaurant is definitely a fun experience with the sing-alongs. An entire restaurant at 11 pm drunkenly singing “Let it Go” was totally worth the experience
When you add an ‘d to a word, it means that word plus “would” l’d = I would You’d = you would Blaze fast fire’d = Blaze fast fire would (wood… firewood) It’s just a punny little word-play.
AJ this was really useful and-speaking as a voice over artist-I love your narration, but it would sound so much better if you turned down the gain on your microphone to stop it distorting so much when you get excited and loud! 😅 Happy to help with this if you don’t know someone.
Local tip for ppl wanting to go to Gideon’s & avoid the wait. Order with UberEats.. I believe you can still do a in store pick up but we usually have things delivered to our hotel
STK is my FAVORITE restaurant that I’ve ever been to in my life and I get around a good amount! Shocked you gave them a 6.5! Their truffle fries are LITERALLY to die for!
Thank you, DFB! Always great reviews. And just today I ate Chicken Guy based on your recommendation here. Great call! Loved it! (And yes, totally agree on Blaze. Seriously, what the heck is up with that apostrophe?!) Thanks much!
I love your videos, but imma need you to start ranking these out of 100. When half of the places are rated 7/10, it doesn’t help determine which of those to go to over the others. Haha
You’re correct in saying Disney Springs is the best park :) Raglan Road remains our favorite eats, Ger’s bread and butter pudding is absolutely to die for. It has become a mandatory stop for our group, regardless of party composition. My husband is still grieving the discontinuation of the Schnitzel Savvy, lol
D-Lux Burger is by far my favorite place to get a burger from literally anywhere. We went there on my first time at Disney 2021, and I enjoyed it so much that I went back another day. The fries they give you are a lot. Think 5 guys amount of fries. You can split a medium size fries between 2 people. I absolutely adore that place.
Great video as always! I think you rated Frontera Cocina a little low but other than that I thought it was pretty spot on. I’m rally curious to hear “the rest of the story” about your experience at Wine Bar George. I’ve been looking forward to visiting on our next trip and this really gives me pause.
@@woooooooo9061 I will. I went once but to be fair it was right after everything opened and it was literally the first public place I ate after the lockdown. The service was fantastic but the food meh, I need to go back because at first everything was meh or out of whack. Still have to say though that Homecomin’ was the first place mom and I went to after the lockdown that was as good as before and had all of our favorites. We are true foodies who can’t eat much but the little we do eat is VERY important to us and I will always remember how much fun that night was and how we appreciated having a sense of normalcy back.
Went to Raglan Road January '21. The entrées were delicious but gravy was super salty on both. So yourself a favor, order it on the side. Also, churros in FL will always be hurt by the high humidity which is almost NEVER a problem in Disneyland.
At Gideons - go during the week. A lot of the time there is no virtual line and the line that is there is only about 20min to half an hour. If you go during the weekend stop by Gideons Before you do the rest of your shopping/eating. If your return time pops up and you’re doing something you can go anytime after it pops up- even an hour later. They really work hard to keep the physical line shorter than half an hour. Be careful though because most of the line is outdoors in the sun/rain. So plan accordingly. Have water/umbrellas.
Also you can order ahead at the East End market just past downtown Orlando and the cookies are $5 there- however you have to order AHEAD and pick up yourself. And when I say ahead I mean by a day or two.
During the last evening of my last visit to The World in early December 2017 (during a 'value season', remember those?), I made a special trip to Disney Springs to have dinner at Raglan Road. I had a reservation and checked in, but somehow I got lost in the shuffle when I went over to the bar for a pint o' Guinness. They did eventually get a table (seating for 6 for just solo me, they were improvising to make up for the "oops"). The Food made up for it: Shepard's pie with Ger's bread and butter pudding to top [o' the evening] things off. So, despite the glitch, I'll go along with your rating of 9.5/10. I'd definitely eat there again if the opportunity presents itself. A day earlier, after birthday dinner at Boma's - Flavors of Africa (I'll also give that restaurant 9.5/10), I used Disney Springs as the hub for late night, indirect Disney bus service to get back to the All-Star Movies Resort (value again, W.D.W. is not cheap, spend one's finite financial resources where they count) with a layover by choice at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar for The Fountain of Youth. I'm still here, so it must be working.
I have to come in defense of city works. Our family NEVER misses it on a Disney trip. There salmon was delicious & our 12yo son was obsessed with it. He even requested we cancel a Disney park restaurant so we could eat there twice.
AJ, the tiny bottle of Coke is that expensive because it is imported from a country where they used real cane sugar in their Coca-Cola. It tastes different and some people (like my family) are nostalgic about it.
Loved this! Thanks as always. (Only criticism is why did you have Swirls on the Water so early on in your alphabetical list? 😉) Disney Springs really is a special place and there are lots of places I really want to try: The Polite Pig (I discovered a love for bourbon during the UK's first lockdown in 2020. What?! We had to get through it however we could. 😉); Wine Bar George; Gideons Bakehouse; Morimoto Asia; and The Edison. I think we need a trip to Disney where we spend the whole holiday in the Springs!
Been to the Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas before seeing KA and the food there is great! Would eat there with my mom whenever we see Drawn To Life.
Raglan Road is the best! We have a lot of gluten free people in my family so the gluten free fish and chips are a huge hit with us! It has the best atmosphere and honestly the food is pretty safe (but in an amazing way) so it’s a great spot for everyone!
My like biggest phobia is dirty dishes 😭 I know that sounds way weird but idk I just cannot, like if I see a SPECK I immediately lose my appetite. So your planet Hollywood reviews have it where I don't even think I could ever give the place a chance because of that 🤣🤣
My wife INSISTS on going to T-Rex every visit. This time is no exception. The food isn't as bad as it's made out to be, but I'm trying to convince her to try other spots.
Nailed it on the BEST restaurant in Disney World. 10 out of 10 on Chef Art Smith's Homecomin. Hands down the best meal I have ever had at Disney World. Honestly I didn't think the price was bad at all. My family of 4 went there, and we spent around $85. For the quality of food, I would have spent much more.

Are you gonna do the resorts too?? Please say yes! This series has been the best in prepping for our foodie trip in September!
Ooo we're going in September too, but making a stop at Universal first :)
Ooh me too! These videos definitely helped with planning so far!
I’m going in Sept too

How about a series with the most romantic / date night restaurants in all of Disney? 😄 Parks, Disney springs & hotels included

My kids have been saying Disney Springs is their favorite "theme park" since they were 4 yrs old. 😆
Frontera is absolutely the best Mexican food in Disney World! Mexican approved! lol 😂
Wine Bar George used to be my go to spot. Last visit not great service…😢
Congrats on 800K!!!
Thank AJ For Posting This Video Yours Truly Disney's Michael Townes Clubhouse
I understand why they weren't added (and heaven knows you had more than enough to feature!) but I would have also included the various candy shops too
FWIW there is an Earl of Sandwich in Las Vegas, in Planet Hollywood (hotel).
