THANK YOU!
You’re amazing, thank you
Thank you for being born.
This is amazing! Thank you! I wish AJ had put at the end the top 5 or 10.
@@danboutell9363 They're likely too busy, which is why I don't mind doing timestamps. Been watching their videos for a while, and just got tired of not seeing someone do it lol.
I really, really, REALLY wish that Epcot would update and add more current stuff, like a South Korean area. Can you imagine a section of Korean street food?
What is more current about Korean food as opposed to the other cuisines in the world showcase ?? I love Korean food but the word current does not apply.
I agree, but in that Epcot is woefully lacking in South American, Central Asian, and African representation!
@@madalyn_2091 Well I love South American food so bring it on. African is
well represented at AKL. Central Asian is represented at Epcot, but sadly it is poor in regard to quality, unlike most of the other cuisines there.
yeah, I agree. it would be good if there was a modern korean street food place or any asian street food would be nice. Also, it does look like Epcot is lacking in Middle Eastern food. And it seems like SoCal is a better destination than Epcot if exploring food from around the world.
DVC Ray here. What's with Korean ? I have spent 20 years enjoying Asian cuisines on a daily basis and I will take all types of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Indian, and several other more obscure cuisines over Korean. Don't get me wrong I love Korean food but overall there are better cuisines in Asia. The problem at Epcot is the food at the Chinese pavilion is the worst representation among the countries. Fix that and they are fine. A couple other countries need to have the food reintroduced such as Morocco. The food is great there but please come back. Epcot is awesome, I hope they add another country but in fairness, it should be from South America.
Wow! I don't recall many DFB videos that are over an hour long. Excellent, thorough work AJ and the DFBGuide team!
I have been to Epcot many times and still discovered places on this list I’ve never even glanced at when I’m there. It’s so overwhelming, sometimes I just repeat the same stops. Thanks for giving me some new stops for next trip! I’m planning an Epcot 40th birthday trip this year, as we are birth year twins! 82!
Since my background is German, I would rate both Sommerfest & Biergarten at least a point higher because the food is excellent & the atmosphere is festive. Plus, there’s dancing at Biergarten. Too many German restaurants these days are tourist traps, these two are truly German.
Back in the eighties The Rose & Crown had an absolutely exquisite selection of pies, particularly chicken & leek. Unfortunately they are no more. They also no longer do Toad In The Hole, another favorite of mine.
can we use mobile order for those German restaurants?
They should have made Space 220 a spinning restaurant, just think of the synergy with Mission: Space
Omg I love long videos!!! Watching while on the treadmill preparing for our next Disney trip lol
That’s exactly what I’m doing!! It really helps pass the time doesn’t it?
@@barbehrhart yes! I could listen to Aj talk all day! Lol
I do this sometimes too! Motivation for all the goodies i'm going to be partaking in lol!
@@OurCrowsNest5 exactly! They balance themselves out! 😆
Back in the day, Akershus was our favorite restaurant on the entire Disney property! AND the best deal anywhere at Disney World. Then, they made it a "by appointment" princess restaurant. Now, it's too expensive, and as adults, we really don't care much for the princess experience. So...for us...that one went away years ago.
Back in my day
@@jesseduckface3784 Both versions are correct in usage.
Same. I had to drag my parents and siblings to go there as a kid because I wanted something different and everyone... EVERYONE... Raved about how great the food was. They kept asking the waitress what they had on the buffet because they never tasted anything so good
That was our family’s favorite when I was a kid!
Talk about always delivering you always make me laugh AJ. And your videos always put me in a good mood. My favorite part of this vlog was the mac and cheese garlic ailoli hack and also when you said you were kind of a brat and apologized to your mom and dad. Lol You crack me up! Oh btw even though I'm a 40 something yr old adult can you read me a bedtime story? Lol 😆 I could listen to your voice all day.
Morocco is my favorite restaurant in Epcot, because it's truly unique. You can pretty much experience the other food options, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, German, French, ect... out side of Epcot. I've never seen a Moroccan restaurant anywhere else. Plus the live music and belly dancers really makes you feel like you are in Morocco. 10 out of 10.
Totally agree, that was hands-down my favorite for a combination of good food (that my picky self could eat), entertainment, beauty, good service, AND it was never ever busy whenever I went and I could always just about walk right in. Definitely a hidden gem.
Amen! I love this restaurant. I have this place to thank for my current and on-going love affair with this kind of cuisine. ❤
This video is just a magnificent tour of what Epcot has to offer by way of eats! Do not take the ratings to heart, just enjoy the ride! Totally subjective with some great input. Agree and disagree with a ton of the info but hey, it's AJ and her comforting voice guiding us to some very solid suggestions; it's for us to keep on giving recs for future visitors. Love all of the comments and hope we all can keep up to date on what will work best for each of us. Love you all!! Hope you have an amazing stay or enjoy your living vicariously through these vlogs.
Please tell me you’re doing this for all the park areas! Timing of this video was so perfect. We just last night started making our list of dining hopes and dreams for our upcoming trip. We added a couple and removed a couple from our Epcot area list thanks to your rankings. Appreciate the assist 😊
If you're going to HWS, the Hollywood Brown Derby is absolutely phenomenal. I've eaten just about everywhere at HWS, and the Brown Derby is just ... it outclasses the rest.
@@sitdownstar I watched someone eat the Cobb there the other day and her reaction was almost obscene.
@@jenniferlawrence1372 I think I've had just about everything on the menu at various lunch and dinners. At this point, we book our "celebration" meal there and always ask for Moses who is the most phenomenal server you can imagine. It's always the highlight meal for the vacation.
@@sitdownstar brown derby is best in the park. Cobb salad is its signature
Are you going to magic kingdom ? If so pay the price get your reservations for Cinderellas castle! My two girls and I went. It was delicious and fabulous . We are going back when we go again . We all got something different appetizer, main course and dessert so we eat had a bite or two of each thing. And we brought leftovers back to hotel
Oh my gosh an HOUR long video?! Can this Monday get any better?! 💖 That line for Choza de Margarita is always super long, I usually just go inside and get in line at La Cava for my margs (hello Cucumber and Avocado Margaritas!) Does anyone know, did Karamell Kuche get rid of their marshmallow pinwheel? I went at the beginning of January and didn't see it on their mobile order or in their counter? That treat is sooo delish! Les Vins is totally missing out on an opportunity to provide a small charctuerie plate at that kiosk. A couple wedges of cheese, meats, a few slices of a baguette with your slush, man that sounds amazing. Disney, please bring back breakfast to Sunshine Seasons! Tutto Gusto is always perfection! Love to build our own cheese and meat platter and get a wine flight. At Via Napoli, we ordered a large Margherita pizza so that we could take the leftovers back to our room for a late night snack with a Yuengling. Great job Bria and AJ for this fabulous video!
This is so useful for our first family trip coming up in August! Hopefully you’ll do this for all the parks! :)
we also go to Disney first time in the end of August. Hope you will enjoy a lot!
I wouldn't rank Les Chefs de France higher than Biergarten, no way. Les Chefs de France was my least favorite meal in all of Epcot when I went. For the Disney vibe and even general food choice, I thought Biergarten was better. Less cramped and super fun too.
You guys forgot Restaurant Marrakesh, one of my favorites
Probably cuz covid killed Marrakesh and it remains closed.
That was always one of our favorites too! Honestly one of the most beautiful restaurants on property! We went to Epcot in March and they had put sealed the doors and the door handle were broken off. It was so sad. It almost seems like this place is forgotten :(
@@bamnet2k I"m so sad to hear that! It was my fave. But I can see it, it was never very busy because people didn't know it was there, or assumed it had weird food. That's one of the reasons I liked it though.
It say temporarily closed just like monsieur Paul and a few others that she covered in this video. It should have been included unless she has some inside info that it’s not coming back.
We've been to Disney World twice (2015 and 2019) and Cool Wash wasn't open either. We love slushees and keep hoping on our next visit... haha!
I wouldn't take little kids to Coral Reef. My little kids were treated terribly there! That's the only time it's ever happened at a Disney World restaurant.
Garden Grill and Chefs de France are my personal favorites!
I was hoping for a video like this! It will be such great help planning 😄
Me: whoah this is a long one
Also me: *watches all of it*
I stood in line for 30min at Les Halles for the bagettes, i bought 2 cuz i wanted to take 1 home.. well i shoulda bought 3 or 4 because i ended up eating those 2 in a day. I love the butter that comes with it and i asked the lady for extra and she gave me ALOT! They are an amazing price and super yummy!! So worth the wait!!
I’m watching this video again because I’m visiting Disney World again in early 2023 and I am doing two days in Epcot and don’t want to miss any of the fantastic food!!!! I’ve already got my rides planned out so now I’m ready to plan food out!!! DFB, y’all are the best!
Sommerfest is my absolute favorite place here. Nothing like a brat/kraut and a cold Schofferhofer to wash it down. I actually never thought of doing a sit down restaurant in EPCOT as the food choices that i want to try are vast....I like grazing the entire day as my kids like things from different areas.
I really love these ranking videos, super helpful to plan our May trip! You did an amazing job for all the parks. Are you going to do one for Disney Spring restaurants too?
Haha I caught that "almost yawn" at 20:05 when you were talking about the Tipsy Ducks in Love...made my day! And almost made me yawn too! lol
We ate at Coral Reef this past June and were happy with the quality of the food but not the service. Our waiter kept trying to sneak our plates out from under our forks. Literally. We had to tell him three times we were not done. The final straw was when he snatched my plate when my fork was midair to my mouth. The person on the other side of the table snatched my plate BACK. My husband told him not to come back until we asked for him. I swear we must have been on some sort of hidden camera show.
Oh boy I’ve never had that problem
Unacceptable and rude service! He should be relegated to a dishwasher if he likes to collect plates so hastily.

Thanks, AJ!! 💙 There are so many restaurants I still need to try in Epcot. 🙂 This video helps decide my plan of action.
We did San Angel Inn before, that place is just more of a "why" than anything else. We went when the Agent P event was at its most popular. Plus when it's a full spot, service takes For-E-Ver more than usual. Can't really enjoy the ambiance with Dr. Doofenshmirtz yelling every 5 minutes when we couldn't even get a glass of water.
Wish they had Epcot in California. I would go every week and try something new every time. I literally hit up the parks to try the cool new food so this is right up my alley. Thanks DFB 🤩
25:42 those LOUD, METAL, SCRAPING chairs will haunt my dreams forever. Whenever I get treats from Kringla I have to SPRINT away to avoid the tingling spine chills from those pesky chairs!
I love these! They’re soooo helpful! Could you do these for all of the resort restaurants too???
Thank you!!! I’m sure this was a lot of work to put together , but it was awesome 👏 hopefully you can do all of the parks!!! 😁
Please do this for all the parks!!!!!
Thanks AJ. Based on my last visits to most of these restaurants I agree with you 100%! Keep up the great work. BTW you have the best voice I have heard in youtube videos.
Coral Reef is always good we go every time and it’s never been bad lol I normally agree with everything but I can’t stand with coral reef slander
I am also now a local. I have had food at 80% of the restaurants you have reported on. You are spot on all the time. You report in a way I would characterise as "d**n charming" Thank you for what you and your staff do. I like Mongello but I love you.
Disney since feb '72
Steve
LOVED this video! Can you do something this detailed for each park individually? It would help soooo much with planning. :)
Thank you for not shying away from the controversy. 😆 Great video and tip sheet!
At Garden Grill, mix the steak and that sauce into the mac and cheese. Soooo good. I don't go often cause the spinning actually makes me nauseous if I look out.
I’d love to see a Colombian restaurant that has the food made in Encanto at Epcot.
Ugh not a huge fan of Colombian food, but I could enjoy the sopa ajiaco being served in the cooler months
Love you guys. Was literally just searching for this because will be going to Disney and Epcot in 2 weeks and wanted to see the best restaurants to go to. Y’all have perfect timing thank you
Ooh! Hope you have a great time! ☺️
I loved this break down. I can't wait to see it for all of the parks. I would also love to see one for disneyland too since that's the closer park to me. Just more disneyland content in general 😍
My family went years ago before one had developed gluten problems, my boy hadn’t hit his height, we hadn’t become diabetics and my husband’s allergies to shellfish. The Harvest restaurant was our favourite for obvious reasons. We tried the German corner but we were too spoiled with really good German food to enjoy this restaurant. We are also Canadian so we will always go to LE Celliar for the steak regardless of price.
So excited for our Disney trip next week. We haven’t been in 13 years.
Thank you for doing this. I have been searching for videos like this post-closure and they are hard to find.
Favorite part: "We're not here to impress. We have turkey legs and popcorn", lol.
Absolutely love this video!!!! I hope you guy do this for all the parks! 😍😍
This is an amazingly informative video. I'm headed to Disney in 6 days! Thanks for the awesome content, as usual.
My husband and I ate at la creperie for breakfast on our honeymoon this year and kt was wonderful! We did the pre fix menu so we got a hard cider, soup, a Gallette and a dessert crepe. The potato & leek soup was phenomenal and so were the crepes! However we didn't get to try nearly as many festival eats because of how full we were
I’m going first week of October with my wife our two girls, their nana, and their godparents. CAN NOT WAIT!
The only problem with the Rose and Crown Fireworks dining package is that you don't get a front on view of the main ring for Harmonious.. you can only see it from the side.
Shoutout to Canada popcorn cart for giving me & my fiancé a free bucket when he proposed on the bridge overlooking the cottage- my favorite spot!!
I have been waiting for this 🙌
Yay! An hour of dfb I love it :)
So excited that you did this updated video! The only one I disagree about is Coral Reef. We had one of our best meals there last time we visited.
I know!! We love the Coral Reef! I can’t believe she ranked it so low. Also, AJ needs an intervention. She ranks almost everywhere in all of these videos higher than a 7!
Wow this was a lot but very very helpful! Thank you! I can tell y'all put a lot of work into this.
I agree with the restaurant rankings for the most part, but the bar outside Regal Eagle serves Moonshine Sours (Best drink at WDW in my opinon) and that alone is worth 2 points on their ranking and the Canada Popcorn Cart serves Ottawa Apples which are worth 1 point as well.
Pretty sure we ate downstairs at Garden Grill, had no idea it spun or had characters, was just convenient to Soarin' ride. Also came for the rose gold cupcake while it was supposedly still there, they had to sub frozen themed one but it was lovely nonetheless. Not crowded, fairly quiet was the best part.
I LOVE Katsura Cafe! Been getting the Udon soup with tempura shrimp for years
I wish I knew this last year. I can’t even remember where we ate at Epcot a year ago . But so glad this is here for next time we go if the restaurants are there still.
We're going to Disney World for our one and only family trip to the Magic Kingdom. I really appreciate your extensive coverage of pros & cons. This will save us tons of time & money on our vacation! Thank you!
Me: not a big fan of movies cause they’re too long for my short attention span.
Also me: oh dang DFB uploaded an hour long video ranking all of EPCOT’S restaurants?! I’m already watching 🤣
Had filet at almost every restaurant in WDW. Le Cellier was by far the best I've ever put in my mouth. The breads and the theming - absolutely the best dining experience in WDW.
Watched/listened to this on a run, thank you!
If I got picky eaters in my party? Tell em to stay home and eat their potatoes and plain cheeseburgers
Me as a kid- Can we leave? Epcot is boring
Me as an adult- Can we stay here all day and Drink and eat?
👀👀
Omg! Thank you! This is a great vid!!!
This video really highlights one of my biggest pet peeves at Disney World. Not Enough Seating. How many times have I had to eat while sitting on a 4 inch high curb along the sidewalk, or leaning against a planter?
We ate every meal on a trash 🗑
@@christineschmidutz5057 When you go to Epcot for any festival it can get really hard to find a place but you have the right idea those trash are just like a hightop stand at table they’re perfect if you don’t mind people coming and throwing their trash out while you’re trying to eat
As a kid nothing made me happier than a 7-Eleven slurpy!
I'm taking my niece to Disney this coming August so this was very helpful - I was checking out the menus for each in the app while watching this vid and made notes - my niece is incredibly picky so now I think I have a better game plan. :)
“Schrodinger’s Cat!!” AJ, this is why I love DFB and your team! Fantastic reference! Oh, also the great food recs, videos, and content. Thanks to you all!
NAILED IT!! A ONE HOUR PLUS video AND a quantum mechanics reference?!?! I've heard/seen it all from AJ now!!
Went to WDW with my family numerous times in the 90s. Yakatori House, so since renamed, was the best place to relax and catch our breath and the best food for the money for a young family on a budget. Miss those innocent times.
This is so so so helpful!!!!!
Please please please do this for all the parks!! We are planning our trip in May and this video was so helpful as we plan our attack on Epcot!! 😉🎉🌸🏰
I would love to see your top vegetarian picks across all parks. We are going in 2 weeks and I’m looking for places I can eat.
ahh this is the best! Thank you so much for this!
Fun. Watching this a Nice way to Relax.
San Angel far exceeded my expectations. The enchiladas was an absolute bullseye as well
A favorite of our family for years.
I very rarely comment but have been watching you for a few years. This was an extremely informative video...thank you!
We went to Chefs de France as a family with high school/college age kids (who spoke French and loved all things France), around 2000ish? Got a pic with the real French waiter bc we loved him so much! Glad it's still around.
Whoa! Excited to watch
Great guide...looking forward to the same thing with the other parks
So glad for this vlog. Have you ever done this for DS?
Love these videos! Would it be possible for you to review all Disneyland and California Adventure restaurants?
Thanks for this! Please do this for the other 3 parks!
Baffled by the first rating (Akershus). "Decent food" + overpriced = 8/10? The same rating given to Chefs de France?
Maybe that was counting if the princesses were there? Idk
Yeahhhhh even with the princesses it doesn’t seem like an 8/10
yeah that 8/10 gobsmacked me. way too high
Just like “mall food court” in the Japanese pavilion… pretty much garbage 8/10 lol
Probably 8/10 because if you go there you don't care about the food but ranked low on the overall list because as far as food goes it's not good.
Ahhh I’m loving these ranking videos so much!!!
👏👏👏👏👏. Good review! Thanks!
These videos really are great for people watching without having to go out in public. My favorite moment: 56:48
Oh, I went to Alfredo on my first trip to EPCOT all the way back in '91. It was sooo gooooood. RIP, Epcot Alfredo!
I used to love Tutto Italia but the last two times I’ve eaten there, I’ve been super disappointed. I probably won’t be going back. Thank you for this. It’s helped me plan for my next trip in October. Interested to know if you’ve done or will be doing a Resort Dining video like this one?
Funnel cake was delicious we shared it.
Karamel Küche is my favorite place!!! Werther’s caramels have been my favorite candy since I was a little kid. The one time I went, the caramel corn was the best thing ever.
I love this series! Hope you will cover Disneyland :)
At the tea stand in China I also got a tea there once with no boba. It was so good it was like a sweet berry iced tea!
A note on coral reef restaurant, I don't mind watching the fish while I eat the fish as long as the fish don't start watching me while I eat the fish. LOL
Great info
Karamell Kuche…best two offerings are the Gingerbread Caramel Cookie ( only during the Holidaysq😢) and the Butter Bar.
I love this video!
we had never been to garden grill and then when we found out it was revolving AND overlooked living with the land we had to go. One of the best meals I have had at a disney park (im pescatarian so i also speak for the plant based option!)
"Literally inside the Living Seas Aquarium"
Must have to eat fast unless you can hold your breath for a long time.
According to the OED, “aquarium” can mean a glass-walled tank full of water, as well as a building that houses glass-walled tanks full of water.
