    It's not about attracting rural voters, it's about not antagonizing people who oppose you into mobilizing en masse. It's about doing no harm.

    i m expecting this to dismiss walz in any way possible. since atlantic has been pushing for shapiro, even calling critics of shapiro antisemites. let s see. will listen to it now.

    Matt Yglesias is a pseudo-intellectual, with has the kind of mildly edgy bad takes that make him a perfect mild spice to boost listenership on a podcast, but at the end of the day he has no receipts to demonstrate any of his takes are worthy of serious consideration.
