Nathan Lane should be the host of the Tonight Show, I feel like he would be far more genuine. Won't someone tell Fallon to stop laughing like that? Or at least tell him to make it sound less fake -_-
No you're not. It's just a bunch of douchebros who like to spam the page with their fake laugh bullshit. When anyone who's followed him for his nearly 20yrs on tv knows that's just how he laughs
It's fake, It's obvious. You're probably the same type of person who watches shows like undercover boss and thinks that it's totally real. That's fine, it just frustrates the rest of us that can see straight through that garbage.
Jasmine Bajaj Well he is the second my subscribed talk show on youtube, so he must be doing something right.. Just don't watch anymore video's of him. then he won't "piss you off"
+Jasmine Bajaj It's cuz the guest on this show isn't actually funny but as a host, what are you supposed to do with a guest like that? He doesn't always laugh fake - in fact usually he seems very genuine. But every now and then it's inevitable to have a guest on who thinks they're funny when they're not. What should he do, just stare at the guy awkwardly? I think he's being much more considerate by at least humoring the guy.
+desertrose0601 you don't get it! I legit don't give a fuck about his laugh... I just wanted my comment to get noticed for laughs... and see if I got any outrageous reactions (which I did).. though I totally agree with you haha
Eiko Pumpkin Are you dumb? He's the host of the biggest talk show in the US. Imagine if a guest said something that was meant to be funny and he didn't laugh. His job is to entertain, and part of that is laughing at his guests jokes, even if he doesn't find them funny.
***** Are you stupid? I said laughing in a "fake manner", I never said that it was real laughing or actually fake, it's how he does it. There are people who pretend to laugh and it still sounds real. Like I said, he's an actor. How can his laughs *sound* fake when he's an actor? Ever thought that that's how he laughs, even if it's fake or real? Clearly not. And what you're saying is completely obvious. Don't you have anything else new to say? That's not what I'm saying.
+Eiko Pumpkin I hear what you're saying but lots of times, he laughs hysterically than 2 seconds later puts on such a serious face as if nothing happened. The more people mention his fake laughs, the more noticeable it i
Nathan Lane Movies 1. Timon - The Lion King 1, 2 Simba's Pride, 1 ½ 1994 - 1998 - 2004 2. Mysterious Disco Man - Austin Powers 3: In Goldmember 2002 3. Snowbell - Stuart Little 1, 2 1999 - 2002 4. Ernie Smuntz - Mouse Hunt 1997
I don't care if this is scripted, this has some really great and true lines in it packed into this humor and I think some of these things just had to be said!
Well this comment section is starting to turn into yet another debate on "diversity", let me give me my opinion on the matter: Directors need to pick the actor that best suits the role, what they don't need to do is throw in a person that doesn't fit the role but do it anyways for the sake of "diversity".
That's the point though. There are actors from all races who are fit for the top roles yet time and time again are type casted and only hired for specific roles based on their race.
+elasha123 they hired will Smith as deadshot I think that says a lot of things , deadshot was supposed to be the whitest douchebag that's his character
I don't think the issue, as far as THIS situation goes, is that people of color weren't cast in good movies this year. They were. You can't tell me Idris Elba (I think that's how you spell it?) didn't deserve at least a nomination.
+IDK Lol Will Smith and his family are very influential in Hollywood, the problem isn't that black actors aren't being cast at all, because I agree, Will Smith being cast as Deadshot does say a lot of things but probably nothing you're implying. Will Smith creates large audience turnout, so he gets casted, not very complicated; actors like him, Leonardo DiCaprio, etc. etc. have an oligarchic type influence in Hollywood. Yes, are there other black actors in this group? Of course. The problem with diversity, isn't meant to be solved by hiring black actors just because (now this is kind of refuting op's original point) that's not at all what anybody who is challenging Hollywood's diversity issue means. Actors are hired in big budget films, often for their ability to create audience turnout, a common trend is for casting directors to specifically choose a white actor or actress because they believe it will create more audience turnout internationally. Making your dollars worth is important I believe; I'm going to use the movie 'Aloha' as an example, Emma Stone, a lovely actress who is enjoyed by audiences and also happens to be quite Caucasian, is cast as native Hawaiian woman. A little bizarre right? The movie, which starred Bradley Cooper as a pilot who falls in love with the woman, doesn't do amazingly well at the box office. Emma Stones casting as a Hawaiian woman most likely had a small, if any, effect on this underwhelming turnout, but here is the point: had they casted an actual Hawaiian actress or even one of the many ethnically ambiguous actresses it would have made zero difference, if not at least making the movie a bit more believable. Now I'm not saying ethnic actors should be typecasted to play only the race that they look like in movies, its just very paradoxical that ethnic characters are often casted as white actors under the facade that it will create "audience turnout" and so ethnic actors are unable to play those parts, and then aren't given a chance to play characters that have no race tied to them because producers and casting directors are so afraid to cast racially diverse actors in the chance that audiences won't find them attractive and then go see the movie, which is why for many roles white actors are cast. Now this is just on ethnically diverse acting not just black actors/actresses; who I will say, have a slight upperhand in this issue, because when a character is specified as black, casting directors can't just hire a really tan white person. In roles specified for Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern characters, they often just cast white actors and that's the biggest problem.
Please Jimmy. You don't have to think everything any guest says is hilarious. "Actors are desperate for attention..." "He, heheha, HAHAHA, HAHAHAHAHAHA"
Happy Birthday Nathan Lane. UR amazing legend, man. I loved The Lion King 1, 2 Simba's Pride and 1 ½. Amazing. Disney movies r awesome, love them. Kool one's, better one's. Stuart Little 1 and 2 is great. Not bad. Me and my brother loved Austin Powers 3 In Goldmember. It was hilarious. We seen part 1 and 2. Great movies. And Mouse Hunt is also funny. I love the part when that mouse was understand the sandwich, when the brothers almost got the mouse. And Ernie in the chimney, he was flying. LOL. Oh shit. Wow. Mouse Hunt is great, it remind me Tom & Jerry. Its complicated. UR talented Nathan. Full support. May the Peace be with u Timon. From Harlingen Texas. Hi Jimmy, since your show can now be watched here in Germany five days a week, I would realy love it if you would invite the German late night host Jan Böhmermann from the show "Neo Magazin Royale" to your show. He's one of the funniest persones wich I know.
If I was interviewing Nathan lane, no fake laughs would be required. Also, that credit card joke at the cash bar, hilarious. All original jokes. Fallon has been one of my favourite you tubers for the content him and his team put out, not the personality. He seems as though he is rushing the interview.

The Oscars got it right this year. The only one I would change is Bridge of Spies for best picture. That being said, studios need to be more diverse with their casting. I don't blame The Oscars, I blame Hollywood.
No directors need to pick the actor that best suits the role, what they don't need to do is throw in a person that doesn't fit the role but do it anyways for the sake of "diversity".
lmao who doesn't love Nathan ? He's just amazing
I've always loved Nathan lane. I don't see much of him anymore in the spotlight but whenever I do see him, he makes me smile and laugh.
Nathan Lane should be the host of the Tonight Show, I feel like he would be far more genuine. Won't someone tell Fallon to stop laughing like that? Or at least tell him to make it sound less fake -_-
+Tamerlan Mirzayev no.. I'm pretty sure it's fake hahahha
How can you tell it’s a fake laugh? Not to mention you can’t be turned on every single night (so to speak)
I now love Nathan 1000x more now. This was beautiful, comedy gold
Lol I didn't realise this guy basically played himself on Modern Family.
His laugh isn't fake. I laugh like that too.
+derty qwerty 42N then don't watch the show...
derty qwerty 42N You know why there's no debate? Because you're a total loser bitch who thinks they know everything.
+derty qwerty 42N
"I'm not hating"
But you blatantly insulted him continually with no reason to.

No you're not. It's just a bunch of douchebros who like to spam the page with their fake laugh bullshit. When anyone who's followed him for his nearly 20yrs on tv knows that's just how he laughs
+melirose89 Trust me at some parts it is a forced laugh

Does Nathan do stand-up? Cause I'd watch that in a heartbeat
He mostly does broadway theater
He used to do stand up when he was younger in a comedy duo called ‘Stack and Lane.’ Very short-lived because he got acting jobs afterwards.
nathan is class and wit. love it.

All I can hear is Timon :D

Nathan's so brilliant, love him
I really don't think Fallon is being fake he might just have that kind of energy
When was Hollywood ever about talent, merit, and being fair?
He should have been nominated for an Oscar for THE BIRDCAGE! He was phenomenal in that one
Pure wisdom
Nathan Lane is hilarious. It's like he hijacked the interview and made it into a stand up act.
Good old reliable Nathan
Nathan Lane’s comic timing is impeccable
I love Nathan! He's SO hilarious! 😹 He has quick funny lines. I hope he keeps it up and hopefully has mor iconic roles.
People, jimmy's laugh was real! Nathan Lane is freaking hilarious!
0:53 That was some FAKE LAUGH, Jimmy
+Martim Albuquerque he's an actor he has to do things that other people told him to.
+telenovelas all his laughs are painful to watch. They are all forced.
These two should host the Oscars someday👍👍👍
I agree with you.
why do people not like Jimmy's laugh?
It's just how he laughs....
Jimmy is so desperate not to be rude to the guest he laughs 10x louder and more often than any other host
Lol, this Nathan guy is hilarious!
those fake laughs just piss me off so much.
+Jasmine Bajaj That's the point! If a guest said a joke and the interviewer did not laugh, it would be awkward as fuck.
+TestedModz Obviously, but It's just my opinion that his fake laughs aren't as convincing as other talk show hosts
Jasmine Bajaj Well he is the second my subscribed talk show on youtube, so he must be doing something right.. Just don't watch anymore video's of him. then he won't "piss you off"

How do people know that Jimmy's laughs are fake?
*****
There are people with many types of laughs. Why would he, also an actor, be laughing in a fake manner for the whole world to see?

Coz he laughs and then he looks at u like u said something serious. This one wasn't as bad even though he did many. More of a cleaned up act.
+Eiko Pumpkin I hear what you're saying but lots of times, he laughs hysterically than 2 seconds later puts on such a serious face as if nothing happened. The more people mention his fake laughs, the more noticeable it i

+Joey Deguelle I agree.
+Joey Deguelle it just bothers me when people blame the Oscars when they have nothing to do with the diversity problem in Hollywood.
Well in case you hadn't noticed, the majority of those people haven't exactly done their homework.
Attention is one hell of a drug.
+Joey Deguelle Yeah I feel like most people that are complaining haven't even seen most of the movies nominated.
What does he write on the paper when people curse ?
Pepper Saltsman :D
Anyone notice the close-up of Jimmys fake finger? I almost threw up. 🙊
"oh I'm not gonna watch the Oscars I'm so special look at me" who's desperate for attention here ?
