I’ve watched you do several tire installs and I’m convinced it’s all CGI. It’s magical!
You make it look so easy. It takes me like a half hour to 45 minutes if I use spoons, and my knuckles hate me for it. 😂
One thing I love about Jay is how humble he his. Instead of getting upset and angry towards the negative comments. He remains super positive and thoroughly explains how to install the tire. This video is no different than any other video I have watched of his. I learned how to change tires from watching Jay, i follow his exact steps and use the same tools other than his tire stand and everything goes so smooth. I recently ripped my valve stem clean off my tube changing my last tire, but that was 100% my fault, and not Jay's advice. I wasnt paying attention while pulling the rim out of the tire.
Jay, you did an awesome job like always, great presentation and explanation of what to do, how to do it, and the best tools to make the job easy. You rock man 💪haters will be haters
Jay and your team! Thanks for all the videos I’ve watched hours of you changing tires. My first 4 tires took me like an hour each. I just had a world record on the 5th and did it in 10mins!! 🤟🤟
Wow amazing how easy he makes it look, trust me it’s not easy like that, he just has years of work and experience making it look so smooth❤
The Maestro orchestrating the rubber onto the wheel!
I don't care about scratches but it is amazing Jay can mount a tire without scratching a rim! Where can I get some Dirt Bike TV work gloves?
This is an awesome channel that’s full of great info on all things dirt bike! Very down to earth enthusiasm with no drama, negativity, or hype.
Don’t mind the negative comments, there’ll always be anonymous “internet wankers” (who lack opposable thumbs) sitting in their mom’s basement looking for the smallest thing to pick on.
BTW- Loving the, “That Moto Show”… waiting for the next episode! 👍🏼
Hello from Ireland ☘️ Love watching Jay doing tyres. Master at work 😃
Thanks 👍
Thanks for another great video Jay, you make it look so easy.
Out of curiosity; if you were to 'time' a tyre change from start to finish, going hammer and tongs, how long would it take? Would love to see this in a video🙏🙏
Keep the awesome videos coming please mate👍
Such a great video! Thanks for the tips. These videos have made my tire changed so much easier.
Thanks Jay. As usual no hype no BS
Love these videos! Made my tire changes so much easier! Do you have a favorite brand or type of rim lock? Some look like they will be more effective than others….
Email for more details but the Motion Pro Regular rim locks are amazing.
A couple things I didnt know or think about. There are tire stickers and you can cerakote your hubs.
These videos are good great explanation bro
Thanks For sharing BTW, your the best!
The rough surface casting on the motion pro spoons WILL take off paint on my black Excel rims every time. Its like using a file, it 'scratches' off paint.
Interesting that is what I use in the video. It’s more technique.
@@dirtbiketv1 You are the reason I bought them but the only way these spoons arent taking off paint is to not touch the rim at all. A heavy duty plastic coated spoon is the only way paint aint coming off I think. Maybe my rims have really thin paint.
Awesome stuff! 🎉😮❤
Fantastic video, but do you have any tips for doing a paddle? They always seem harder
Our beloved Jay is an old stager in tyre changing and mechanics in general. I bet thay most of you guys cannot even wipe your ass so smoth like he make this thing done. My advice for average Joe who's going to change tyre for the very fist time: rule no. 1: invest in tyle lever made of aluminium or brass. It is softer than rims material, so you risk scrating of coating only. Over the time you will get pretty handy and hope to make it just twice longer as Jay on this vid. I saved tons of $€¥ thanks to your tips, may Jesus, Allah and Buddha bless you for your priceless effort J. !! 🤟
Where do you get the Dunlop tire stickers?
lol My rims are so blown out and scratched up this is not an issue😃
Litterally just scratched the stock wheels on my 94 cr125 last night changing the tires 🤦🏼♂️🥲
Everyone says the 606 is hard to do. I used to change my bike tires on my Tripple wall Alex wheels back in high school maxxis tires they would hold 110 psi super hard to get on
I'm new to all of this, the tube looks pretty fragile, is cranking back on those tire spoons with it not prone to make it pinch? And is the main concern for pinching a tube if you accidentaly grab it with the tip of the spoon or is it something else?
Thanks Jay. I’m in England UK, where can I get a stand like yours?
Also, do you keep one nut on the tube valve inside the tire and one outside? I’ve seen it recommended to have two both outside
Email Jay. Contact info in About tab!
Do you recommend removing the wheel spacers when changing tires? I noticed in all your tire changing videos that they are removed from the wheel.
Yes. But on some KTM wheels that are stuck in well are fine to leave on.
What brand tyre paste do you use?
I always have dramas geting the tyre to sit concentricaly on the rim
where can i get a pair of those Gloves and Spoons ? Thanks ....
I believe you but as soon as I touch my rim with my spoon it rubs the Paint off of the rim 😅
Why not do a video installing the the Dunlop 606 rear tire 🥵
Would anyone have the email for him so I can ask for the plans on the tyre change stand?
We dont post it so save on bot scam emails-- its easy to find -- go to his site-- www.dirtbiketv1.com or other socials etc--
Sorry. Brad from where? Perapros?
As you said before, your tire paste is hard to get. What would you recommend as an alternative that most of us can get?

explain the yellow dot...
Black Sharpie to hide my occasional oops😁
So I guess rim protectors are not effective? I couldnt find one video where anyone used them... Or, are they effective, for people who have a bit of patience? Serious question...
It's a dirt bike, if you're worried about scratches, don't coloured wheels!
It's alot harder not to scratch the rim when removing the tire.
Sorry ... there will be scratches. We need the camera closer ... 🙂
Lol yeah really nice having no scratches….. then you go for a ride and that’s the end of that
They’re dirt bike tires for goodness sake! Who cares about scratches??
