At the time they had a thousand seat auditorium, but on Friday nights they would take out the seats and let in 3000 to 5000 young people The Cockroaches were pretty cool at the time and would play the area quite often. The Cockroaches played the sports bar at the Revesby Workers Club just before I moved out of Sydney around 2002, everybody was asking them to play Dorothy the Dinosaur. The Cockroaches played where I now live on Halloween 2018 they rocked
Paul Field, the lead singer used to have a website up for the band... a few years ago. He sold a few CDs on there and keeps promising to get a new website up. At this rate, until he has time for that, your best bet is to keep an eye on Ebay.

I'll tell you a short story about Greg Paige who we all knew became the yellow wiggle when the wiggles came out who I fondly remembered most when I used to watch the wiggles from when I was a toddler. apparently from what I was told he married a women from Parkes in central NSW and has a house there. don't know whether he's rented it out to someone. he must live Somewhere else nowadays. a friend of mine has actually met him. interesting story. I previously didn't know they were the cockroaches before the wiggles started. feel free to comment on this. some of you guys might know some stories about the other members or more interesting stories or facts about Greg.
Man Greg was the coolest wiggle man. When I found out about this band I was really hoping it was like Screamo music or something just because that would have been funny to see the wiggles screaming. Honestly I hate screamo and prefer this kind of music over most kinds of music. Just a disclaimer.

I remember them from growing up in Sydney in the 80s - hilarious to watch them now after seeing the Wiggles! They were pretty cool cats in this video!

My now wife and I were at the same Cockroaches gig before we even knew each other. Now we've been married just over 15 years.
I saw these guys at Miranda Hotel in 2000, including Jeff and thry had the place rocking. Love the hair dos.
