Paul Field / The Cockroaches - She's The One (live on Countdown 1987)

Paul Field was the lead singer for The Cockroaches. They released 5 albums including a “Best of”. They toured for a decade, had eight Top 40 charting singles, a Gold and Platinum selling album and as the Telegraph newspaper reported in 1988 were the hardest working band in the country due to the large number of shows they played each year. The bands peak year was 1987 when their debut album was released. They appeared and performed a number of times on Countdown ( Australia’s top rating music show) and here you will see them do a number of introductions from the show to performing their biggest hit, “She’s the One’.

Thanks, the recent documentary on The Wiggles covers a little of The Cockroaches life. IM not sure that there would be enough interest or demand for a biopic
