- IF NOT for the vlog, THEN this would be the type of edits I make ;)
Granted it's scattered story telling (if I were to do a year long piece, it would be MUCH more cinematic and story telling focused than this), but because this is meant to be a highlight reel of "Life On Water" Season 2, it still serves the same purpose... All action surf edit!
I spent most of my career making videos around swells, seasons, or years of surf... When I started the Vlog, that all changed. I honestly love the weekly videos more, because ZERO footage gets wasted! That is why I started doing them, because I was tired of tons of decent clips sitting unused on my computer. But, I do miss making the more surf based videos. So that's what this is...

Dude…,, finally. Bravo. This is what your channel needs. Edge. Your such a sick surfer that goes so far beyond Hatteras. I am only half way through and had to comment. At first I thought you changed your intro. Which I was stoked on. I think adding the heavy music and getting people hyped then adding the hard tones would send your channel to where it should be. I appreciate the kind words. I can only do so much music wise with my weekly videos cause I need rights to the songs I use, otherwise I can't make money off of them. and I wont be able to do them. this was a passion project I wanted to do... so sacrificing ad revenue was worth it to use the music I wanted to. :)

Hey Brett don't worry about memories when your fifty. I'm 70 next year and got clips of being in a barrel at Jeffreys in early 70's. Still competing on my Mal at Noosa Festival of Surfing this coming weekend. Over 65's Div.

I got a minor high ankle sprain too :( and i just turned 26 and the state is giving me a hard time getting health benefits, apparently the $12hr/35hr week i make in my grqphic design internship is over the limit for benefits... so i put myself in a boot and am using crutches for the next week or two until i can get covered and see a doc. So frustrating but id rather be conservative than careless, i need to be able to shred long term
