When Tua was at the Elite 11 Trent Dilfer said Tua was the quickest learner and made the most improvement in those few days Dilfer had ever seen at the camp, so Dilfer gave Tua the Elite 11 MVP. If Tua can stay on the field he will be an impact player almost instantly like some of the Elite 11 Finals alumni who have came before him - Andrew Luck, Matt Stafford, Jameis Winston, Vince Young, and Teddy Bridgewater. Tua’s ability to absorb information from the playbook, take his coaching critiques, and then successfully implementing those things right away he translates very well to the next level. He has struggled though against better defenses that have NFL players, so that worries me a little bit, but as long as he can stay healthy he has all the tools to become a big time QB in the league. His college stats speaks for itself.

This might be one of his worst takes. Yes Watson was hurt in college but his last game was a National Championship win that's why he was drafted. And you don't think the injuries RG3 took made him worse? He had an amazing rookie season but the consistent injuries year after year take a toll on you look at Andrew luck.
Tua is injury prone yes but he’s a WAY better passer than RG3 was. Baylor is known for running just 3 routes, the reason they bust or get picked in later rounds. I can understand taking him high. over Burrow? no.
dogintruckmp4jpeg Tua has gotten injured so much because of rushing back and not allowing anything to heal.. now he’ll most likely sit out a year and he’ll be healthier than he ever was in college..
Ethan Smith Bro you could say every QB that plays for Bama is a Bama product... AJ McCarron, Jalen Hurts, Greg McElroy, etc... the kid is special and Burrow wasn’t a good QB at all for 4 years until now come on man
I just don’t see how media keep saying Tua is more elite talent than joe. His arm is slightly better than Joe. That’s it people act like he got a Matthew Statford arm
Luther Franklin the NFL draft is always the same. We always rave about the Brady 6 story but never learn from it. Joe Burrow isnt Tua or Trevor Lawrence, but brady wasnt Peyton or Ryan Leaf. Burrow has that thing though, people shouldnt sleep on him just because theres “better NFL prospects” out there.
for me its amazing how every media pundit is saying tua is a great mobile QB ,, is it just me or anyone else think tua is actually slow with extremely average mobility? all of his injuries have been him getting chased down from behind by DE ,, that combined with his lob balls i really think he's going to get exposed in the NFL
Michael Hering now you moving the goal post. I only can judge him based upon what he had around. I understand what you are saying but how can we make a assessment of his ability if he only played for Alabama? Joe has similar talent on offense as well so we will have to see.
Could be the best thing that has happened to him if it causes him to fall to the right team, instead of having his career go to waste with a franchise like the Bengals
I’m not sold on Tua. Average arm, injury prone and played for a team that surrounded by 5 stars that make players sometimes being better than they are. That being said, Russel Wilson and Drew Brees were too small. Tom Brady was slow and can’t run. Etc etc. The QBs I see that make it are the ones that want it the most, work the hardest and live in the film room. Wilson, Brees and Brady are those type of guys. Tua does that, he’ll be wildly successful. My opinion on his success means zero. He will be or he won’t be...only time will tell.
Greg Burton Tua has an above average arm... and has the best deep ball. There have been plenty of athletes injured in college that have been great players in the NFL. Tua is going to be great
Colin: “Everyone has had bad takes, bad days” *proceeds with an absolute horrible take* Why would I want a quarterback that could only play 9 games a season
I've seen too many mocks with Tua going late first. I would be floored if he doesnt go top 6, and more likely than not top 3. The guy is crazy talented at too valuable of a position
There were mock drafts that said Tua wouldn't make it in the 1st round AFTER he dislocated his hip... Now people are debating if he should be the #1 pick lol
“Ive never seen a college QB with numbers like these... and he did it in the SEC.” you mean Joe Burrow right?? Lol i love Tua man but dont say that when Burrow just lit the world on fire in the same conference.
I'm sure I'm gonna regret saying this but... I'm not sold on Tua. He played at Alabama with 3-4 first round WRs, elite offensive line play, a stable of five-star runningbacks, and an elite defense year in and year out. Despite this, he never won a national championship as a starting quarterback. He routinely struggled in big games when Bama's talent advantage was equaled by the other team. For example, he struggled mightily against Georgia in the 2018 SEC Championship, the 2018 National Championship vs Clemson, and for the first half against LSU in 2019. Tua was great at blowing up teams like Ole Miss, who were no match for Bama's talent level, but never played the way that Joe Burrow did against great teams. To be honest, with the exception of the 2017 CFP game when the opposing coaches had no film on him, I can't remember a single big game where Tua completely took over and willed his team to win. I don't remember any gritty moments like Trevor Lawrence's touchdown run vs Ohio State or one of Joe Burrow's many unbelievably clutch throws. Additionally, Tua has had major injury problems throughout his career. I hate to be the guy who uses that as an excuse, but there is a very strong correlation between injuries in college and injuries in the NFL. If Tua was that oft-injured in college, where he frequently didn't play in the second half, I can't imagine he's going to hold up much better in the NFL. To close, I don't think Tua is "overrated" or "guaranteed to be a bust," but I think he's more of a mid first round QB than a top 5 player. I don't think there's any question that you take Burrow over him, and I think his risk is a little higher than people think or want it to be.
How’s this for commentary...”This is what the Lord declares: ‘I will honor those who honor Me and whoever despises Me will be cursed” (1 Samuel 2:30). I will pray for Colin to come to know the greatness of God and His holy word.
Well, it is a book that was written and rewritten and currently has different versions in circulation. You can call it holy all you want. I'm pretty sure you're not a Muslim or a Jew and if he said the Torah or the Koran is just commentary you'd really care either way.
“I rejoice in Thy Word, like one who discovers a great treasure!” (Psalm 119:162) Rarely is a great treasure found upon the surface. A person has to search or mine or dig a little to find great treasure. Jesus says, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.”(John 7:17) May the Lord bless your day and search
Colin- "There will only be 2 teams interested in Brady". Dude, there would be at least half a dozen teams with a win right now mentality that would want Brady.
As a colts fan, no way tua dropping to us at 13. It’d be a miracle and he’d be picked effective immediately. Also, to get him we’d need to trade for that 4th pick, which to me also seems pretty out there.
Tua is no doubt a very talented quarterback, great guy, family oriented, humble all the things you would look for in a young player to lead your franchise. The question of course will be if he will be the next Mariota who was a very talented player that consistently battled injuries and has now regressed due to them.
In a perfect world with no injures, yes Tua is without a doubt the #1 pick. Unfortunately though he can't stay healthy at a position that doesn't get a lot of pad to pad action.
Joe burrow has a unique set of skills...u can't teach perfect timing an how to throw a reciever open when he's fully covered...Tua is special as well i just got a feeling he will be injury prone..that's the big difference
What are you talking about? Practice ? Don’t come with that bs.hes good but he had so much talent around him and when he had real pressure he wasn’t the same
He gave Florida and Georgia as examples, Tua played 2 quarters against Georgia (great quarters I'll give him that) and never once played Florida. Played Auburn once. Boatraced by Clemson. The rest of the time he was playing Citadel. With THREE first-round caliber wide receivers.
2nd Timothy 3:16,17 16 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.“
All scripture? How about Psalm 137:9? "How blessed will be the one who grabs your babies and smashes them on a rock!" Anyone stupid enough to try following every instruction in the bible will be in jail faster than Aaron Hernandez.
How is he gushing over Tua's 87 tds when burrow just got 60 in a season with 6 picks. How is he gushing over Tua's improvement when Burrow was the perfect example of improvement? Seriously... Burrow is #1. He played the best teams and showed up, he got blasted by a blindside sack in the championship and no one was worried about him being injured. Thats why he's number 1.
Tua has done it more than one year. Take Joe Brady from Burrow and see what happens. I like Burrow but he has to go to a team that knows how he needs to be used Tua was the Joe Burrow of last year and the year before people gushed all over him. Burrow had one of the most insane years in CFB history. I think both will do great. Burrow #1 and Tua #2
Also Tua made mistakes early in the game against LSU and never quit. And made the game very very close. Something Trevor Lawrence could not do. I'd still Take Burrow over both but just saying
I know Tagovailoa had world class receivers, but I really love his accuracy. That's something that really separated him from Jalen Hurts. I just hope everyone disagrees with me and the Chargers are able to sneak in and draft him at the 6.
I think saying RG3 wasn’t any good is a bit of a stretch. He needed his athleticism to be good. He needed teams to respect that part of his game. After all the injuries he couldn’t move the same way and teams didn’t have to give him as much of a cushion. I think that was his downfall more than not being good.
RG3 was destroyed by the Redskins when they forced him back into the game when clearly injured. His main attribute was his speed, he never recovered from that. Your comment is incredibly harsh.
Tua is a great kid. He can't stay healthy in NCAA and he's going to make it against bigger, faster and stronger NFL. Even SEC teams are mostly guy who are not making it in NFL. I hope I am wrong but I think Tua is entering draft to get the 1st round deal and the next big injury he retires. Hip injuries are no joke.
Brian DeLong It wasn’t the injury. It became clear that he lacked accuracy in throwing the football. He got away with it his first year, because it was relatively new. Russell Wilson was the same kind of quarterback his first year. But Russell Wilson evolved into a deadly accurate passer. I will say the injury had impact - it perhaps meet him a little gun shy about running the football. But if he had the accuracy be an NFL quarterback, he would be starting somewhere.
We’ve heard of tua for a long time. He has been good for a long time. Joe burrow just came outta nowhere. I’d take a consistently good player over a lucky season.
It’s frustrating that the media always portrays getting cleared as the same thing as being completely normal again. He could still suffer affects for a long period of time due to being injured.
Long-time Chargers fan - much love for Rivers. But with a lot of great QBs in the draft and free agency, I’m hyped for these next few years! Any other Bolt fans with me?
Will Tom Brady play for the Patriots next season?

Casey Jazz do you have comprehension problems? POST THE 2018 STATS !
Tua hit the same number too if he was playing all game long like Burrow did..the only reason why Burrow hit those number was he play all 4quater
The rest of the Bible is commentary? Colin the most important part of the Bible has nothing to do with being a nice person. That “commentary” is a reminder of Gods love for you. For everyone reading this God lover you enough to send his son for you and that’s great news.
I can understand taking him high. over Burrow? no.
dogintruckmp4jpeg but we aren’t even really talking about RG3 in the end of the day it’s Joe Burrow Do you take him over him
dogintruckmp4jpeg Tua has gotten injured so much because of rushing back and not allowing anything to heal.. now he’ll most likely sit out a year and he’ll be healthier than he ever was in college..
Would you rather have the National Championship winning, Heisman winning QB, or a injury prone one that some would say is a product of Alabama?
Ethan Smith Bro you could say every QB that plays for Bama is a Bama product... AJ McCarron, Jalen Hurts, Greg McElroy, etc... the kid is special and Burrow wasn’t a good QB at all for 4 years until now come on man
Tua
Everyone is a product of something. It's a team sport.
Thing is Tua can throw better than Rivers & Brady WIth His Opposite Hand tho & That's FACT. Tua, Trevor Lawrence, etc Are Better by a Mile.

I just don’t see how media keep saying Tua is more elite talent than joe. His arm is slightly better than Joe. That’s it people act like he got a Matthew Statford arm
Aint nobody got a cannon like stafford haha... Carr is 2nd I'd say
Brayden Krigner exactly and people acting like Tua has a monster arm. It’s slightly better than joe
The system Joe was in helped him.. and this was the first year of joe Brady nobody understood it. Will differ next year.

Joe Brady getting Lawrence next year
Michael Hering now you moving the goal post. I only can judge him based upon what he had around. I understand what you are saying but how can we make a assessment of his ability if he only played for Alabama? Joe has similar talent on offense as well so we will have to see.
Michael Hering Alabama’s defense was horrid last season
Tuas injury really hurt his stock, still an amazing talent
Could be the best thing that has happened to him if it causes him to fall to the right team, instead of having his career go to waste with a franchise like the Bengals
I think tua has a 50% chance of being a bust. Colin is way to high on him
Daniel Kellish it’s because he doesn’t like joe burrow since everyone else does
So is everyone else
Tua will be a bust. Careeer backup. It's obvious.
Tua is going to be great
It would be a nice change to see Colin get something right...
Joe over tua no doubt.

“Ive never seen a college QB with numbers like these... and he did it in the SEC.” you mean Joe Burrow right?? Lol i love Tua man but dont say that when Burrow just lit the world on fire in the same conference.
And beat a Tua led Bama team!!
Did this dude just say Rodgers had "one great year" bruh💀
Tua’s good but if you’re hyping him up for his stats, Burrow threw 60 TOUCHDOWNS IN A YEAR and he’s always knocking him.
Robert Griffin's career was ruined by injuries.
This is my 400th Brady vid I’ve seen 😂😂
Colin changes his mind like the weather.

"The rest of the bible is just commentary"
That is going to cause controversy.
Heh, Colin just quoted one of my favorite medrashim (ancient Jewish parable) about Hillel and Shammi... Cool...
He lost me when he said rg3 wasent good enough dude just cant stay healthy for 16 games his talent was always top tier
When Colin starts choking on his spit you know hes being passionate
Tua will be a star wherever he goes.
I went on an all fiber diet and 3 days later I thought I was shiting a wicker chair
Tua has been ready i said 1yr ago im taking him with no regrets!
Tua is no doubt a very talented quarterback, great guy, family oriented, humble all the things you would look for in a young player to lead your franchise. The question of course will be if he will be the next Mariota who was a very talented player that consistently battled injuries and has now regressed due to them.
Pretty sure Joe Burrow did it in the SEC too.
I’m sick of people saying QBs aren’t good because of accuracy
Lol
Bad take, RGIII was definitely special
He’s healthy now and no nfl team views him as a starter. He had one good season with Shannahan and was not good in the years that followed.

Would you buy a car that's constantly giving someone problems. That's Tua
If tua is a lousy car then there’s a bunch of bicycles as starting nfl QBs right now. And Trubisky is a dude with broken legs.
I didn't say he was a lousy player I said that I would not invest millions of dollars knowing that this guy have a history of injury
Can't argue with that, I'm just worried bout the injury, but how can you pass on a accurate passer?
This guy is full of himself. lol 😂
RG3 situation is what ended him not that he wasn’t good rookie year, vs Wentz or Watson rookie years .. I’ll take 10/10
This is a terrible take. Absolute garbage.
RG3: offensive rookie of the year
*gets hurt*
*career backup after injury*
Collin: Injury had nothing to do with it!
Forget injuries, what has Tua done to make him a better prospect than Burrow? Colin just hating on Burrow to be contrarian
Tua playing for my Panthers is too much to fathom 🤩🤩🤩
Guy's I just checked the stats and Colin got exactly 0 good seasons behind him. It's time for FS1 to draft someone with better stats. 😂
I would regret drafting a QB that spends the playoffs limping into the locker room.
Aaron Rodgers has had a whole lot more than one great season. He won two MVPs. 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, all great seasons.
I don’t mind that he got hurt but they type of injury he sustained is unpredictable. It’s not like a broken finger or a shoulder sprain.
Sometimes you gotta roll the dice! Tua and Burrow are both hot prospects!
At this point, it would surprise me if Matt Stafford wasn't born injured. LOL
So true!!!! Perfection is an illusion ...
Long-time Chargers fan - much love for Rivers. But with a lot of great QBs in the draft and free agency, I’m hyped for these next few years!
