Thanks for your question! So I think you can also use A3 paper size, which is pretty close to Tabloid. Anything less that these will put you at a disadvantage, according to CXC's guidelines.
Hi, Whats difference between Layout in Pageset and Layout in Plot setup. In plot setup --in metric iam able to measure exact sheet sizes in mm but in Inperial format, after setting up as per aboce istructions, not able to see exact paper sizes in inches....pl let me know. Thanks
It looks like you created your drawing using a metric template, so it loaded all the metric settings. I think if you create a new drawing using the imperial template, you should be able to see the sheet sizes in inches. Let me know if that helped.
Hi Edward, can you kindly recommend any basic building drawing book or an online website where basic building drawing is taught targeting people with no background in building drawing and construction.
Great Video, much appreciated. Are there any standards for page sizes and title block layout of SBA building drawings? The SBA's are usually printed and many school printers aren't able to facilitate Tabloid and A3 paper sizes so students usually draw for letter size paper. As you can imagine, this sometimes mean cramped drawing spaces or building drawings at smaller scale to fit better. Again, excellent video!
Thanks man I appreciate that. From my understanding, cxc has no standard for title blocks as yet. Each school will use whatever standard they have been using. The drawing is the main focus of what they're looking for and what will be graded. I agree, schools need to upgrade their printers. Teachers should try to request a printer for these kind of work.
Great video, you made it clear and precise. Tell me something only tabloid size can be used? What about legal size paper?
