It will be a good video if u can make regarding Gas management system on different types of LNG/C or your present vessel, cause this is quite tricky - CT pressure management .

Dear Captain good choice for training, specialy using real plant onboard LNG. If you accept one sugestion, is good prior , to explain shortly ,way is necesery that procedure, when -after drydoc or another situation . Is good to show the type of LNG (membrane) general wue and , at least one Cargocontainement ( cargotank) have liquid cargo for using during cooldown procedure .After this short introduction the video was excelent for junior officers/cadets.
Very nice video capt .one thing in this show we don't hear any communication between chief and deck cargo to cross check valve opening and confirming pump running without any abnormalities noise or other safety information. But very informative video..thankfully for chief off.
Hello I am not sure if it is on this episode since they are three but we always do this it is a standard practice which I also encourage the ratings to do.Thank you very much safe seas.
Normally if a valve is giving you a fault (on your DCS, In a power plant or a rig) you send the electrician to inspect specific control/motor valve and check the feedback switch, will you do the same with your system? Also, you mentioned that you have people on deck checking for possible leakages. What's the visual indication? How you locate a leakage? Thank you in advance for you response.
Hello Konstantine, Yes indeed the ETO will go and have a look on the actual indication and the follow up as required. Well if you have a minor leakage you will see the following liquid dripping on deck and this particles evaporate and you will see a small cloud. The larger the amount of liquid the larger the vapour cloud. And if it falls on water asta na pane RPD rapid phase transition. I attach you the video ruclips.net/video/h-EY82cVKuA/видео.html
nice information sir. Sir previously I was working on oil tanker as 4th engineer and now I am getting an opportunity to join LNG vessel as trainee 4th engineer. please suggest me study material, simulation software or videos link or manual ? I am just preparing myself for better handling onboard in near future. I have time to study. thank you
Recommending English practice so you're capable of communicating clearly. Notice the heavy accent used, it is often a safety issue with such mediocre English knowledge! Smooth sailing

I use to work on the Gaslog fleet, never met another Englishman though 100% very professional Greek crews back then.. You a Cargo engineer then?
Hello there I am a Captain Sailing with Gaslog 14 years now.
Can you make videos about the CCR operations of gcu / dual fuel engine / loading / discharging in the next available time ? Thanks
Great suggestion!
Will have it on my plans on future employment, currently I am ashore.

yuri is there cargo engineer
What is te main funtion of the compressor high duty and low duty in the ship?
Low duty handles gas and sends it to the engines or GCU
High duty while loading excess generated vapours are sent ashore and pre dry dock you can use it to warm your tanks faster
Thanks sir.
Generally, how much is the average for the temperature rise per day, for those empty cargo tanks during ballast voyage?
Depends on which range they are.
can I please ask why is it that on LNG Gas Carriers , the crew wear white boilersuits?
white color means that they are officer. both Deck and Engine Dept.
@@驫如願以償 For our company yes on other companies they have different colours. I have worn in the past Orange it was not bad at all.

Hello there all the best to your new start.Read anything you can high priority the SOLAS safety Manual and the Cargo Operations Manual.
Recommending English practice so you're capable of communicating clearly. Notice the heavy accent used, it is often a safety issue with such mediocre English knowledge!

Hello Muhammad how did it go?
I would recommend you read the safety manual first and then your engine manual
then comes the rest cargo manual.
