Thank u, thank u, thank u Hot rod drag week for the stream, and making this event possible! Thank u to everyone involved!! I hope to participate next year…
@@TheModifiedChannelAddiction Love those cars. Good luck! Please post. Can't wait to see you hit it. 8.50 is no joke. I recently had to sell my 55 Chevy I had for over 20 years due to family health issues. It was a Falfa American Graffiti tribute car. It wasn't that fast. Best I could do with it was a 10.20 at 128 m.p.h. with 2.3 60 footer. Winning a drag week is no easy feat. So much respect for those racers.
I said its been dead and they deleted my comment, viewers down 75% too. Change it up or the event will die like fastest street car shoot out and pump gas drags
@napoleonsmith7793; This Day 5 was Friday, September 20, 2024. Is Friday considered "Middle of the week" for You ? The later portion of the event is late afternoon to evening. Good Luck
@FrankBullitt390; Certainly the main aspect with Drag N Drive Events, often Street Car takeover, are the participation of the entrants, competitors; not dependent upon people viewing, enjoying at the track event. these events also have live video stream, along with sponsors, thus advertisement is certainly important some other events mentioned, certainly have the aspect with in person viewers enjoying the event, with their payments to support the track and event to continue In reality, the participation within Drag N Drive events continues to increase, along with more events during the year. This week there are three simultaneous events: HRDW, RMRW-Race Week 2.0, Redwood Rally; each will full lists of participants [RR restarted just last year 2023 - more participants this year 2024 - growing] When You claim "viewers down 75%", from what base of information along with per event type do You have basis ? All The Best, Sincerely
1) It's easier to unhitch than to unload and reload. 2) It adds some security. 3) Weather, not every drag and drive event has dry weather and trucks with limited interior space don't have room for everything that needs to stay dry. 4) even an 8' bed can't hold everything they need to be self supported for 5 days of racing and 890 miles of driving. There's a lot to do every morning when they get to the track and every evening when they prepare to leave the track. We raced karts for years and while everything we needed for a night of racing fit in an 8' bed, we used an enclosed trailer for all of the reasons stated above. And going kart racing for 5 nights in a row isn't anywhere close to being as brutal as drag week, because the tow vehicle isn't the race vehicle.
@ozzstars_cars; If You view their site, select this event, they have a link to see the spreadsheet showing every participant with their ET, TS per each track, including their ranking; thus the top three within each class.
Technically your wrong on the charger, floor pan, frame rails, inner fenders and more are the same on chargers and other b-bodies. I had a 68 sport satellite also, definitely made them. Basically just a gtx with a 318/904.

@billybatts0503; clearly MotorTrend, the event organizers, arrange this live video stream; similarly with each Drag N Drive event.
Great job to Mr. Goldstone who went all in for the win!
Great job KAJE! Enjoyed your balancing the mic.
Appreciate 🌎 time 👍
Those Commodore's go really well with a Barra.
Alex, although Goldstones car is amazing.
What's with all the gaps in the sound cutting out?
I wish be there iL❤et
Does Dulcuich still have the Pontiac wagon that y'all took to Bonneville?
VP the "WORD" leader. That's some funny stuff. The person that was responsible for that needs to be relived from duty.
He should have been fined and bought everybody lunch.
Why isn’t there anybody in the stands?

There are none, he broke
I missed alot how did Finnigan do?
Had to drop out the last day a lifter issue apparently.probably counldn't get the parts needed.
I have a Big Block Chevrolet Monza Towne Coupe.
Why do the pickups carry trailers? Are they allowed to carry parts and supplies in the bed?
Yes they can, but bettwen wanting to carry more and/or having fuel systems/tubes, ect taking up bed space they need a trailer aswell
Less to unload and less stress in the rear suspension.

Freiburger sold it to someone who shipped it to Europe
