It's used in a lot of places. The composer was pressured to build the OST in a very short time frame so he used prerecorded Celtic samples. Doesn't take away anything from it, though. Even if it's not original, it still sounds really amazing.
A song which represents the most the game in my humble opinion , It's about telling stories, tragic with a touch a bitterness , like even how strong our heroes could become , they can marks their Time , but theirs legends will fade soon or maybe a bit longer , I love this game , even if i was born too late to play It sooner (I am a 2005) , i spend my childhood playing it , and even now I spend night of exploring and chilling on the musics in the game , I Hope this game will never die. :)
Makes me think about the bittersweet campaign that is Order - the stories of Emilia Nighthaven, Solmyr, Gavin Magnus shall remain in the hearts of those that played HoMM IV forever.
It's that record, that cd, taking it out of the case, insert it into the player, hear it starts turning, adjusting the volume, start listening to the first sounds, get into the mood, listening to the whole album, the stories unfold, listening to the instruments, seeing images, celtic world, playing the character in your mind.. great music
Funny how I heard this in a historical drama documentary once when I was in middle school and the entire time I was wondering why it sounded so familiar
Got the original album - as opposed to the game rips - just now and realized what was wrong in my playlist. A portion of these tracks are fragments of a long grasslands medley which I took the liberty to break down, guessing which segment was which only by track playing time. I might re-upload these tracks with the properly separated ones from the album, eventually.
So it seems like the whole HoMM 4 soundtrack is ripped off The Complete Celt library. It's only arranged/mixed slightly differently. But it's basically the same note for note. Still, the music itself is great.
This game's soundtracks have been used in a lot of different animes... This one in particular was also used in Naruto The Last Movie(The vocals)... Another anime that used soundtracks here is Fairy Tail at 2:30... Not sure if the vocals were recorded or just samples tho
So Japan used this in the Naruto Last Movie during Naruto's confession. Beautiful.
the theme for the pirate campaign was also used in the anime 12 Kingdoms

You do realise it's based on a Celtic native song, and as such frequently used in lord knows how many places?

all HoMM games are fantastic but i like IV the most. I think it´s mainly because of the awesome soundtrack :D

Oh yes, that was really lovely.

The most beautiful heroes track ever. I'll be listening to this one till the day I die.
wow man that's kind of heavy.
HoMM IV's OST is severely beyond the game itself in how intensely expansive it is. You can use this at campaigns. It *works*
Funny how I heard this in a historical drama documentary once when I was in middle school and the entire time I was wondering why it sounded so familiar
if there's music playing in heaven, this is it.

i owned this game this easter:D very good game indeed:)
Папзан в 4 утра между играми Ликвид и ВП опять подрубил мед в уши работягам. Какой же охуенный этот трек.
good OST, good game. stupid game for those who had no brains to win.
just heard it in another video and thought I heard it somewhere. Then it hit me, Heroes 4, last played 13 years ago
Да, саундтреки четвертых Героев однозначно охрененны.
Игра тоже лучшая в серии
best OST and game 4ever:)
this brings back memories... i think i´ll have to play some heroes IV :D
Did you ever get around to playing it?

Imaginative sentiment from melody
What can I say ? Just listen it, and forget all your problems...
my favorite
This music was also on Black and White 2.... Man, the memories.....
I do not think paul romero would have given permission to use it on more than this game sorry
@@kemikemi756 he did not. Because he took this melody himself from a sample library AMG Complete Celt.
Да, это жестко.
thanks banzay for uploading these HoMM IV songs! my personal favorite is still "academy of honor" :D keep it up
Came here cause of Naruto and Fairy Tail... Stayed here because I'm thinking about downloading the game now
Try Heroes III if you haven't already. The game is a legend
This is a part of Eternity...!
Every time im in a calm setting or playing a rpg i think of this track

Man I love this song. Makes me wanna play some Heroes right now. Does anyone know what particular genre this type of music would be under?
Some kind of celtic music?
Slavic fantasy ;D ?
@@sungvinExactly, I can hear a strong celtic influence in IV' s entire soundtrack, particularly irish folklore, I guess.

Ditto, Sami.
Who is the vocalist? Same exact vocals used in Naruto: The Last. Is this a sample or something?
