Ezra Aderhold is playing so well this year. I want to see that kid take down some big tournaments. Such a great guy with a great attitude and personality and a beast to watch throw.
@@jefftareila8194 And yet, he was 1 stroke off the win. Anthony made plenty of mistakes as well, just one less. Don't be knocking the wind outta Ezra's sails.
Trevor thanks for making my point for me. He lost by 1 strokes because of 2 very bad GOLF choices. You are right that AB made mistakes and won. What younger players need to learn is that everyone makes mistakes- you can’t be perfect BUT not making bad decisions that lead to big mistakes are what the game of golf is all about. I’m not taking the wind out of EA’s sail. Just making a comment about an athlete. There is an unwritten rule in golf that while holding or tied for the lead, you never risk bogey when par is required guy there. He, hopefully will learn from this and not run putts when you don’t need to and not risk water penalty when you don’t need to.
Ezra plays well because he isn't hanging out with Brodey that much.. feel like he was pulling him down much emotionally what i can tell when I was watching their stuff on youtube.
@@jefftareila8194 It's easy to suggest he didn't need to make it in hindsight but remember he made the call to run that putt knowing the leaders were still behind him. You can only guess what they're going to do so you have to try to score every chance you get. Could easily say Calvin risked where he didn't have to when he took the double bogey cause he hit a tree 5 feet infront of him.
@@bosmith6992 Yeah but missing easy putts isn't the same as being robbed by an add. Twice. You're missing the putts. That said, at this level every little break matters. Every stroke matters. Really high level play from so many players. Despite Calvin's BS kicks of the stantions, AB earned the hell out of it. Tons of clutch shots and putts. Scary player. I really hope Calvin gets healthy so we can see these two really go at it. Though Calvin did shred the forehand holes with his backhand this last round. Right now AB is the undisputed best player. Can't wait to see if he is way better in the woods (if any of those courses are still around) this year with the way he's throwing that Luna.
Seriously how has it not been addressed yet? These guys shouldn’t have to avoid coozie’s; that shouldn’t be part of the tactical approach to a course in my opinion.
Germ and Uli mentioning the spit out for Callaway, which did hurt a lot. But you wonder if Ben also regrets not going for the Eagle on 14. They mentioned it though; the greats make those shots. You gotta attempt them to be considered great, and make them to BE great. Tough finish for Ben, but an amazing finish for AB.
I highly doubt that Ben's spit out from 10' shook him more than the pressure of being in the lead, with Calvin and AB on your ass, and the possibility of winning the biggest tournament in his life.
AB running the eagle made sense at that point in the round, drilled. His old man slow disc turnover game has really impressed me this year. Kid has all the skills.
Hoooooly crap AB is freaking ON IT!! To see him making some mistakes and STILL holding it together strong, his mental is on a new level and it's paying off massively! Disc golf's Tiger. Love it, so hype
Simon Lizotte will always be the guy I am coming to watch play. A lot of great players these days but Simon, Paul, Eagle, and Ricky will always be the ones I wanna see when they make lead card.
At 7:00 , I think what happened is that the chains rotated the disc so that the top was facing Callaway. But the wind was blowing from the basket to him, you can tell by his shirt and how hard he threw. So the wind caught the bottom of the disk and just blew it back out.
Question to the editors. On final hole, can you edit the chase card in as par of the lead card? Don't know if everyone would love it, but could be cool on an ending like this to watch the chase card leaders along side the lead card potential leaders as opposed to seeing who wins/loses from chase card before watching final lead card throws.
Amazing tournament. Way to go AB, holding strong. He's a cool customer. Hat's off to all the players. I love watching all you guys play and commentate.
AB has always had the talent just like McBeth and Ricky... but I believe he always felt he had to just throw the disc as hard as he could on every hole! But this is a different AB this year and I believe he's found himself!
Its like Happy Gilmore learning to Putt. His control game has really stood out for his game. Kid was throwing 550 when he was 10. I agree its a different AB
@seymourglass26 well that was my point he's learned how to "putt" he's always had the best attributes but putting them all together has been his game changing idea. Never trying to discredit his skills
@seymourglass26 well I think you need to Seymour Ass and learn the context of comments. At the end of the day who cares what i think cause I care little of what you think
AB is an absolutely unstoppable force rn, seeing him and Ezra duke it out every tournament has been spectacular. These guys are on fire and everyone is just chasing Barela atm, if he gets back that putting stroke from a few weeks ago it'll take a miracle to beat that guy.
That was some crazy disc golf! Phenomenal! Congrats AB. The entire time I was wondering though... How many extra steps did cupcake have to take to keep up with AB?😂
I remember when AB was coming up and much like the Goose the power got him close but he lacked the finishing touches to win...now that dude's game is polished up and I think barring injury we will be seeing quite a bit of Mr. AB for quite a while.
I'm happy for AB but honestly Vinny losing two strokes because of hole 8's garbage basket being the difference between him winning and being 2nd is such a bad taste.
I have to imagine that spit out on 11 for Ben is the shot that truly lost him the tournament. Sure you can question the Eagle opportunity he passed up but that extra stroke would’ve forced AB to make a difficult putt at the end. That’s golf I guess 🤷🏽♂️ Much love and excitement for AB this season!
Ben and Calvin with so many carless mistakes from having a dominating win. AB has been so consistent this year I could see him continuing this momentum.
Same, but only because of how much competition there is on tour (no slight to AB). It doesn't seem like any one player should be this dominant, but here we are.
I thought I heard Jerm or Uli predict on round 1 coverage that by the end of final round, someone would be so far ahead that it could be a race for second. Not sure if they were joking, or if they actually thought someone would be that far ahead. But it sure was a close finish!
Waden Sides needs a "Twice or it's luck" commemorative disc.
That was incredible!

8 years and no aces.

You need a side by side follow flight for the back to back hole in ones.
Calvin's 2 hits on the coozie rollaways really came back to hurt him. Got to fix them seriously.
I agree. Players get unlucky, but having an object that consistently does that isn't bad luck anymore, it just shouldn't be there. Ridiculous
True but let's not forget AB missed some relative easy puts. He just gives himself a chance on every hole, best in the world!
