These foxes are bred to be less shy and less aggressive for easier handling and confinment in groups, and as an unintended consequence, different fur patterns emerged, much like their very distant cousins, cats and dogs. (Yes all had a common ancestor) A silver fox is a melanistic recessive trait. They do not have patches like this fox.
Reef does a convincing seagull call. I'll admit, he is adorable. But I don't think I could maintain my SANITY driving from Minnesota to Florida with him in the car. I would start screaming too before long!
Could that possibly be a heat related cry? He seems to be panting a lot and the weather in Minnesota as way different from the Florida keys. The fridge fixation also seems to speak to that.

I'm so glad that there's a dog there for Reef to have a playmate. I always feel bad for wild animals that are unable to be among their own kind but at the same time I am glad that Nicole rescued Reef and that he's in a happy home.

He's precious, too, just like Reef. A very talkie boy, super smart, with his own personality, definite likes and dislikes. We've developed a real relationship. I love my furry boy!)

Honestly, fur farms shouldn't have existed in the first place because there's nothing positive about fur being fashionable no matter how good you feel when you wear one. In fact, I'm not even sure if faux fur would be enough even if you're fine with it instead of real fur.

Wow eh. Reef is an extremely beautiful fox. I'm somewhat envious lol because he looks like he'd be an awesome buddy. The reason I choose to never bring one in my home is simple.... I'm not equipped for one, don't have the money for one and definitely not any room for one. I wish that some people would here my words because the end result is that if I can't take the proper care of one, then it deserves to be in a place that can provide the said above for the entirety of its life.
