Good day Breakfast Club this conversation is one of if not the most life-changing conversations that we as a black community need to keep having for the rest of 2025 until we heal, this is a movement there is so many answers in this conversation 🤦🏾♀️Thank You I appreciate it
I graduated from a NCAT a HBCU with a masters in tech and majority of my classmates weren't black. I think the more people we push in our culture to be in these fields the more people we will have as CEOs and positions of power. We can't only be 7% of the field and expect to be in power.
Wasn't expecting so much hate in the comments but then again everybody can't be saved. More people interested in foolishness but can't tell you about a HYSA, IRA, 529, life insurance or brokerage account.
😂 Because a HYSA , IRA , 529, and life insurance. Does not help their current situation. You're the type of people telling people to pull themselves up by their bootstraps but ignore they don't have boots in the first place they're barefoot. Look at the average income... we need to stop acting as if people have the opportunity to focus and invest in things when they can't even afford their basic needs. The advice to spend money to make money when you don't have money in the first place ,then turn around and invest in things that aren't guaranteed is like telling people to play the lottery. Y'all are telling people with nothing to gamble with their lives and the little they do have. THIS IS ALL GAMBLING!!! I can guarantee these guys and many others are going to lose it all when the economy crashes and that will be happening very soon.
Trust me you shouldn't be surprised, it's sad but it's reality, I learned so much from these guys and didn't spend a dime and all our people do is be envious smh
@@the1011showcast I like how you said you learned so much, how much did you earn from their advice? 100% of the information they repeat is public knowledge and can be easily found and learned if you wanted to educate yourself. These guys make the overwhelming majority of their income from selling advice and not the money schemes and investment plans they sell. It's literally that simple as to why they do what they do. They use the money they get from you to gamble with. Nothing they are saying is guaranteed to work and there is still a very high chance you could lose all of your money. They sell financial gambling as financial literacy. These guys are literally no different than someone saying invest in your future with scratch off lottery tickets. Smh when the stock market and economy crashes which is going to happen. All of those so-called investments become losses and bankruptcy debt. How quickly do we forget about the Great Recession of 2010 and what caused it . Don't go crying to the government for bail outs because you all were financially irresponsible and guess who suffers from it . The stock market is no different than sports betting... Go ahead roll the dice . I hope you don't crap out.
If you ignore what CTG says, just listen to what these men are saying. They are speaking the truth. Start your own business, sign up for Fanbase, Read the 48 laws of power, think for yourself.
Like Dr. Claud Anderson said. Its what you own and control that gives you power and wealth. Black Americans own less than one half of one percent of this nations wealth.
Literally frustrates me. I know so many qualified and educated people who need a job who would absolutely excel in this role or at least make an effort. To have the privilege to sit in the same room with knowledgeable individuals like this and as a host, she has nothing meaningful to add to the conversation - it’s insulting. But I bet if the topic of conversation was about rappers, wigs and fights - she would be loud and proud.
Ive been saying this before she left, when she left, and when she came back! Loren helped evolve the convo, especially with more educated guest. Jess doesn’t do NOTHING lol she is there for the pay day and ready to head home!

Everybody can make being rich their goal. You have a much better chance of achieving that goal if you make up in your mind that’s what you want to do. You have no chance of being rich if you set your mind on being stable.
Everyone can make better decisions. Everyone can live below their means. Everyone can have more than one income. Everyone can take accountability for their bad decisions.
