This news follows speculation that an Iranian drone "mothership" may have been behind mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey since November 18. Representative Jeff Van Drew claimed that Iran was behind the drones, citing unnamed sources. However, the Pentagon dismissed these claims, stating there was no evidence linking Iran to the sightings.
Despite thousands of reports from concerned citizens, the White House and federal agencies have found no proof of Iranian involvement. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby emphasized that all reviewed drone activity was lawful and did not corroborate the sightings. The situation remains unclear, with authorities unable to provide any concrete explanations for the mystery drones over New Jersey.
