Looks phenomenal. The 2022 version was already fantastic, and this looks like its taking things to an entirely new level. The Formula Alpha + Assetto Corsa is a 10000x better experience in VR than the actual F1 game.
why are people degrading this release? ive been playing it all day, this is the best formula 1 mod ever released. yes a great next gen nascar and LMH car would be amazing, but this is a phenomenal release. More of this in the future, VRC setting the Standards when it comes to car mods and F1 mods.
People will still use the RSS mod sadly because they're sleeping on vrc. Same read why I can't understand why people still using the RSS Indycar & making skins for it, vrc model is way better
The car feels insanely good, I bought it together with 3 of my mates and we totally love it... however there is a small issue for all 3 of us. All 3 of us do not have a clutch pedal or clutch paddles and once the car goes into antistall, its game over as we have to fire up the car again. The biggest issue is that it does not allow to assign a button to clutch in AC/Content manager so in a race situation when it goes into anti stall, not fun. Or maybe someone has an idea on how to assign clutch to a button in AC?
Hi guys. I have a quick question. If you drag and drop the car mod into Content Manager, would you be driving the CSP version of the car by default? I heard that there were two different versions of the car. I'm sort of confused about this.
@@mijindani I figured it out. I was so excited trying it out, that I completely oversaw the fact that there were two distinct versions of it on the selection menu. That is my fault 😂😂😂
Very disappointing. (Just to clarify, this car is beyond amazing for what it is!)I'm sure this will be a great car but I was really hoping to see another LM(D)H/GTP car to go with the RSS car that was just released. Really anything aside from another F1 car would have been welcome. Oh well, hopefully a prototype is in the works...
Well guys, I gotta be honest, this car is incredible. It's head and shoulders above the RSS Formula Hybrid, and I never thought I'd say that. It has an insane amount of setup options, and you need to read the manual before driving it... but I'm telling you, it's worth it.
@@Jt7166agreed. I'm disappointed to see another F1 car, but the FA2022 is easily the best modern F1 car available for AC. The RSS "FH" cars are great, but the VRC "FA" car is seriously incredible.
What do you guys think the Formula Alpha does better than the Formula Hybrid? I think VRC's 3D model looked great, and it had some interesting options, but for physics, the FH was easily the winner in my book. I thought the tire model was awful on the FA, as well.
@@hangingchad_ Multiple aero packages that change performance characteristics, flexible aero, better sound. Just more details across the board. I found the driving experience a bit more immersive, on the Alpha, the physics/FFB feels more nuanced and reactive. The car just feels more alive, if that makes sense.
Just an amazing car! Great work VRC!

👍O M G! VRC has done it again!!!!!! Can't wait❤️💕 VRC Rocks!!!

Extremely impressive release. Masterpiece. We're spoilt for choice in Assetto Corsa these days with some many quality mods released. Thank you VRC!
amazing!!!
That sound belongs to a fiat multipla, amost for sure

everybody: ieeei, meanwhile i'm still waiting for a W11
it wont let me add this to content manager it says nothing can be found and wont open with 7 zip

Content Manager has a binding for clutch. It’s under the “Patch” section for the control bindings in Content Manager.

try the old installing methood, unpacking the folder via windows explorer, not drag and drop on CM

Yep, that's on me. www.virtual-racing-cars.com/p/ac-formula-alpha-2023/ I hope this helps.

I was hoping for the Next Gen NASCAR lol. Oh well...😢
@@hangingchad_ that would be cool too!
Soo many ppl are doing f1 cars... And decent ones, so yeah, an Endurance car or any other would have been cool
Very sorry we couldn't meet your expectations. Maybe next time.

meh, another modern f1 car...
Come on VRC... Do what you're good at, and leave the things RSS are good at to RSS.
Both do great work but if I could only pick 1 I’d pick the Alpha and it’s not that close. So no I would tell VRC to keep doing what they are doing.

RSS Formula is great, more casual and fun driving. VRC's is much more sim-like, pushing boundaries of realism.@@911rsr19
