My personal theory that combines a lot of other theories, is that the Illuminate are somehow altering the properties of the wormhole to allow other Illuminate forces, either from elsewhere in the galaxy, or even from a different time, or universe, to travel to our galaxy. Regardless of what they do with it, I'm really keen for the upcoming stuff, and to see where they go with the whole black hole story pay-off.
But those weren't bots, they were Cyborgs. I'm curious how HD2 will handle the Cyborgs because they are still alive, they were just enslaved by Super Earth to work in the mines of Cyberstan

Number three, blockade stops outgoing attacks, not incoming ones. We’d have to send the DSS to Menkent, Penta, Vog, or Vern to have a chance at stopping an attack on Lesath using blockade (presumably the attack would come from Menkent, given the bot buildup there). Right now, bombardment is active, which accelerates liberation campaigns. Obviously, we want the DSS on Chort. No way the bots will get Lesath back in time at this rate. Unless the divers go nuts and respond to an attack on Lesath by abandoning Chort.

No. It IS NOT a Wormhole. We RESEARCHED that bitch. Meridia the Planet is Gone. It's the whole idea why the Illuminate showed up. And at one point moved slowly in a curved (as straight as you can on a Galactic scale) line toward Meridia. Because we accidentally chucked it into another dimension the Illuminate were hiding in, Terminid Super Colony and all. And pissed them the hell off, cause now THEY had to deal with it instead of us. So they came back to our dimension, to either figure out how to drag it back here, or to get revenge. Most likely Both. Some other datamined stuff kinda, sorta corroborates the above. How do the Illuminate solve this? Pump humans full of it, then throw them at the monoliths to harvest it's potential energy. Then, the mini wormhole in the center wirelessly beams the energy to The Meridia Mother Hole. What does this mean? Well, we've exposed an entire supercolony to this fluid, so you tell me. Dark fluid bile titans? Teleporting stalkers?

The Phrase "Everything For the Collective" could be a reference to some of the data we uncovered during OPERATION SWIFT DISASSEMBLY. Among other things, 'The Final Collective' was referenced. As for the Jet Brigade themselves, I suspect that Chort is their manufacturing site, and the factories dont produce them for the same reason they dont produce Hulks or other bots other than the basic ones, it's a gameplay discrepancy with the lore. However, data shows that Defense rates have an unprompted spike on Menkent - similar things have happened every time the JEt Brigade is about to launch an offensive. I believe that the bots are going to use our push towards their factories as an opening to launch another offensive from Menkent, splitting both our fleet's attention and confusing the helldivers on where to send the DSS. Recent dispatches support this. Personally, I think Joel is done with the Jet Brigade. There are many more tools and schemes available to the Automatons that have yet to be used, like the Iron Fleet, as well as many things we do not understand like Vessel 00, Nucleus, The FInal Collective, and whatever else we may have uncovered at Database One. There's a lot to look forward to, and a lot to blow up.
So two things to keep in mind with the Automatons: 1. High Command stated long range imagery indicated the Jet Brigade factories. Now in times past long range imagery may indicate a target but could be masquerading as something else or even be a dummy. Not that Super Earth intelligence gathering is incorrect but.... 2. The Jet Brigade has had plenty of time to regroup. If they have not shown up yet, they are either staging in another area or we are attacking a sector the Automatons do not consider valuable enough to fight for. Just my thoughts
I have fun talking about Helldivers 2. You don't need content exactly since there's dispatches, changes to the war map, messages on the back of an automaton for example, and the recent spacetime indicator.

Combo that with how heavily AH influences their message boards under the table with Image Rep company bots and yoi have a recipe for long lasting disappointment. So keep up the slop glaze divers. I’d like to see faction wars between the squids, bots, and bugs with objectives designed to sabotage either side into disarray. This could be fun because for once your not the only target and you’d have to balance your load out accordingly to fend off attacks amongst a faction war for dominance

In terms of the MO for Chort Bay a few days before it came out I was fighting bots on Vernen Wells and there were actual Jet Brigade soldiers there with jet packs so maybe they did trick our sensors

The automatons are either: replacing the jet brigade; upgrading the brigade; running out of fuel/materials for the brigade; or amassing fuel to a different project altogether.
I hope the container becomes a defense mission of sorts. Would also love to see a NEW game type or 2 with 4-6 player missions that centers on the defense of a small city or perhaps a personnel escort extraction from (underground) research labs/facilities. They have so much room to work with this game, cant wait to see what they release.
I believe what it means by "All for the collective" means that the Automatons are fighting for the rights of all, by fighting for the collective (fighting for themselves and to rescue the cyborgs and by relation everyone else such as illuminate and terminids)

Different faction voteless would be an amazing opportunity for harder difficulty options. There was a key word in the Intel "the final collective vessel 00 and nucleus" when we liberated wasat to secure database one after meridia worm hole was created so perhaps those are linked somehow
I originally thought that Chort Bay perhaps IS the main factory, but the jet brigade is just somewhere else. Perhaps getting ready to strike on key targets such as Claorell or Tarsh. They may even be waiting for a counterattack if we happen to take Chort Bay
There is a container, similar to the one in this video, in the tutorial area. Seems to be holding a terminid of sorts, you cannot see or interact with it though.

Everything for the Collective... Well, a collective is normally used in reference of groups joining forces to become a large force... The bots and squids could be teaming up ... Here's why I say that: A while back, a large and overwhelming force of bots came from outside of the known system and took planet after planet and was able to steamroll the Helldivers to establish a solid foothold in known space. The squids could have easily helped build up the forces of the bots, supply them with materials for troops, ammunition products, vehicles, ect... The squids are coming from somewhere from unknown space, and we just so happen to have this possible "worm hole" to the right of super earth and bots to the left... "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" well if they're joining forces they could be trying to "sandwich" us with a 2 front war where both fronts are actually allies... As for the bugs, the squids could be using them as a fuel source or even turning them into voteless as well to add to the masses of their military might. We could have a serious problem in the near or distant future.
There's no way Meridia survived being turned into a wormhole. It takes enough energy to basically break the universe to make a wormhole, I don't see a big rock getting through that unscathed.
In my honest opinion, I think that this is the Dev's way of showing us what happens when we decrypt something, and it takes too long to decrypt it. We got the right info, but it's too late for us to act on it. So now, when we're scouring this planet, they have moved their base of operation somewhere else.
We will get to Vernen Wells. Well probably. First we take care of Chort Bay. Vernen Wells will most likely follow after. If we got fooled imagine if the factory is actually on either Choohe,Matar Bay,Martale,Menkent or even Aurora Bay. It looks like the wormhole is getting bigger but I’m not sure. Also I still have the ability to warp to the wormhole. I doubt they’ll bring Meridia back. Meridia was almost certainly destroyed when the wormhole showed up. We do not need the super colony back. There could be a WAY bigger one hiding within the gloom.

I would like to point out that the info at 6:12 is false. There are jet brigade on Chort Bay. I found a bunch of em earlier on a level 4 destroy dropship mission. Edit: he mentions the JB just a few seconds later, but i want to point out that in the first game we found the cyborgs who as part of their war declaration called themselves the "collective of cyberstan". So what this means is that its highly likely that the cyborgs have been returned to power and are leading the bots in battle now as the collective, which has some implications when you think about it.
I hope that they add the apc from the first game, or maybe a tank like the automatons have. I'd love to see tank battles and more vehicles, maybe motorcycles, atvs, or some new energy based weapons because we only have 2 so far.
If I remember correctly the “Collective” might be the ruling government of Cyberstan because in the message that teased the Automatons before HD2 the Cyborg leaders called themselves “The Collective of Cyberstan”
Been working on an 8' X 5' display of the battle for vernen wells specifically the evacuation of Saint Annes for a few months now. If miniature stuff interests you, I could send some pictures as well as painting tips to share with the community.
It was kinda disappointing the jet brigade wasn't on the planet when we reached it, they would have made this MO more fun fighting them again. In general, helldivers 2 needs to do more unique enemy seeds like the jet brigade in the future to make MOs feel more unique. Imagine something like a Berserker hoard for the bots, or a stalker infestation for the bugs. It would be super easy for the devs to implement and make gameplay feel a lot more fresh.
Maybe it took too long for Super Earth to decrypt the location because we failed the Major Order, and they're already rebuilt and are currently mid transit to their new staging area
They absolutely are rebuilt much more than what super earth thinks, it's been a while so I can definitely see a resurgent jet brigade hitting multiple places at once as chort bay is attacked
I hope they have some third party action, bugs fighting off illuminate! High enemy resistance. I wonder how they would implement that ... objective invasions, maybe a roaming aura of invasions, or just everywhere they call reinforcements It is double trouble; illuminate drop in at a opposite from where you are getting called from the bugs? The letters on the backpack are not new, they've always been there. I thought they looked Korean, so I sent them to a Korean friend of mine, and he said they look similar but aren't. Glad to see someone translated it.
So THAT'S what happened with Meridia. I used to log out in front of the blackhole every time. Then I logged in one day and I wasnt at Meridia, but the planet next to it. (that is also unaccessable regularly) Couldn't figure out what happened.
I have an idea that on the 8th they have a new big warbond with all the new leaked armour and weapon camos, weapon attachments and of course new armour and weapons, possibly even weapon variants. At least i hope thats the case.
I don’t think that the black hole is where the illuminate will appear with their full release. It’s too in the middle of the terminid zone. My theory is that Meridian will re appear, but that the illuminate might be able to move the planet. Especially if one of the travel lines just changed.
Chort bay was a former Factory, *BUT* the real bulk of hte brigade is "elswhere". I have a hunch that the realk factory is on Menkhent (The resistance is 4% there, which is far higher than any adjacent planet aside With the exception of Chort Bay), So. My opinion is take Vernen Wells and jump straight to Menkhent.

I’d like to see faction wars between the squids, bots, and bugs with objectives designed to sabotage either side into disarray. This could be fun because for once your not the only target and you’d have to balance your load out accordingly to fend off attacks amongst a faction war for dominance
Giving false counter intelligence is a pretty common thing in war. It is interesting to see the bots pull a fast one on us.

No. You dont have enough firepower to hold a line or a front. You always have to retreat and run. Defending a point is completely a bad idea.

In terms of the MO for Chort Bay a few days before it came out I was fighting bots on Vernen Wells and there were actual Jet Brigade soldiers there with jet packs so maybe they did trick our sensors
if meridia does come back through, that would make sense of that “shock” charger leak we seen months back. possible experimentation on the other side of the black hole?

The automatons are either: replacing the jet brigade; upgrading the brigade; running out of fuel/materials for the brigade; or amassing fuel to a different project altogether.
Automatons call themselves "The Collective of Cyberstan" and the "Out!" is probably directed at us Helldivers and Super Earth as a whole.
I hope the container becomes a defense mission of sorts. Would also love to see a NEW game type or 2 with 4-6 player missions that centers on the defense of a small city or perhaps a personnel escort extraction from (underground) research labs/facilities. They have so much room to work with this game, cant wait to see what they release.
I believe what it means by "All for the collective" means that the Automatons are fighting for the rights of all, by fighting for the collective (fighting for themselves and to rescue the cyborgs and by relation everyone else such as illuminate and terminids)

There was a key word in the Intel "the final collective vessel 00 and nucleus" when we liberated wasat to secure database one after meridia worm hole was created so perhaps those are linked somehow

I originally thought that Chort Bay perhaps IS the main factory, but the jet brigade is just somewhere else. Perhaps getting ready to strike on key targets such as Claorell or Tarsh. They may even be waiting for a counterattack if we happen to take Chort Bay

Could be due to massive forces building on Menkent. However, Jetpack troops commonly spawn on some missions anyway, mostly ICBM launch missions.
I saw some jet packs actually being used by automatons on a lvl 6 Retrieve Recon Craft Intel mission on Lesath.

There is a container, similar to the one in this video, in the tutorial area. Seems to be holding a terminid of sorts, you cannot see or interact with it though.
It’s means Out with the Helldivers/Super Earth everything for the collective of cyberstan which was referenced in one of the prerelease teasers which was a binary message from the automatons
Everything for the Collective... Well, a collective is normally used in reference of groups joining forces to become a large force... The bots and squids could be teaming up ... Here's why I say that:
A while back, a large and overwhelming force of bots came from outside of the known system and took planet after planet and was able to steamroll the Helldivers to establish a solid foothold in known space. The squids could have easily helped build up the forces of the bots, supply them with materials for troops, ammunition products, vehicles, ect... The squids are coming from somewhere from unknown space, and we just so happen to have this possible "worm hole" to the right of super earth and bots to the left... "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" well if they're joining forces they could be trying to "sandwich" us with a 2 front war where both fronts are actually allies... As for the bugs, the squids could be using them as a fuel source or even turning them into voteless as well to add to the masses of their military might. We could have a serious problem in the near or distant future.
There's no way Meridia survived being turned into a wormhole. It takes enough energy to basically break the universe to make a wormhole, I don't see a big rock getting through that unscathed.
In my honest opinion, I think that this is the Dev's way of showing us what happens when we decrypt something, and it takes too long to decrypt it. We got the right info, but it's too late for us to act on it. So now, when we're scouring this planet, they have moved their base of operation somewhere else.
We will get to Vernen Wells. Well probably. First we take care of Chort Bay. Vernen Wells will most likely follow after. If we got fooled imagine if the factory is actually on either Choohe,Matar Bay,Martale,Menkent or even Aurora Bay.
It looks like the wormhole is getting bigger but I’m not sure. Also I still have the ability to warp to the wormhole.
I doubt they’ll bring Meridia back. Meridia was almost certainly destroyed when the wormhole showed up. We do not need the super colony back. There could be a WAY bigger one hiding within the gloom.

I would like to point out that the info at 6:12 is false. There are jet brigade on Chort Bay. I found a bunch of em earlier on a level 4 destroy dropship mission.
Edit: he mentions the JB just a few seconds later, but i want to point out that in the first game we found the cyborgs who as part of their war declaration called themselves the "collective of cyberstan". So what this means is that its highly likely that the cyborgs have been returned to power and are leading the bots in battle now as the collective, which has some implications when you think about it.
I hope that they add the apc from the first game, or maybe a tank like the automatons have. I'd love to see tank battles and more vehicles, maybe motorcycles, atvs, or some new energy based weapons because we only have 2 so far.
I think, jet brigade seeks any sort of equipment, to collect it and use. Try to not die around them with PLAS-Purifier.

I think the Automaton writing just refers to the Automaton “government” or society, being the Automaton Collective
If I remember correctly the “Collective” might be the ruling government of Cyberstan because in the message that teased the Automatons before HD2 the Cyborg leaders called themselves “The Collective of Cyberstan”

It was kinda disappointing the jet brigade wasn't on the planet when we reached it, they would have made this MO more fun fighting them again.
In general, helldivers 2 needs to do more unique enemy seeds like the jet brigade in the future to make MOs feel more unique. Imagine something like a Berserker hoard for the bots, or a stalker infestation for the bugs. It would be super easy for the devs to implement and make gameplay feel a lot more fresh.
Merida has currently lost 2 supply lines, only Angel's Venture is left. Something is definitely happen soon.
Maybe it took too long for Super Earth to decrypt the location because we failed the Major Order, and they're already rebuilt and are currently mid transit to their new staging area
They absolutely are rebuilt much more than what super earth thinks, it's been a while so I can definitely see a resurgent jet brigade hitting multiple places at once as chort bay is attacked

So THAT'S what happened with Meridia.
I used to log out in front of the blackhole every time. Then I logged in one day and I wasnt at Meridia, but the planet next to it. (that is also unaccessable regularly) Couldn't figure out what happened.
I have an idea that on the 8th they have a new big warbond with all the new leaked armour and weapon camos, weapon attachments and of course new armour and weapons, possibly even weapon variants. At least i hope thats the case.

Wednesday night doing a Squid mission we found a pair of dead bots with a pink question mark next to them. What were bots doing deep in Squid space??
I don’t think that the black hole is where the illuminate will appear with their full release. It’s too in the middle of the terminid zone. My theory is that Meridian will re appear, but that the illuminate might be able to move the planet. Especially if one of the travel lines just changed.
Meanwhile, Meridia is slowly being cut off from our travel routes..
Anyone else notice menkent has a 5.0 resistance that might be where the jet brigade actually is
Maybe the illuminate had transformed Merida into a massive moving planetoid ship that serves as the main base for the illuminate that my theory
Bet the jet brigades are on Menkent. The enemy reinforcement rate has gone from 3 to 4% in the last few days, just before the MO.
Chort bay was a former Factory, *BUT* the real bulk of hte brigade is "elswhere". I have a hunch that the realk factory is on Menkhent (The resistance is 4% there, which is far higher than any adjacent planet aside With the exception of Chort Bay), So. My opinion is take Vernen Wells and jump straight to Menkhent.
New enemies 100% for the jet brigade, no way they wouldn't just make more
