I’m a full hour trying to remove ONE transport bolt, well done to whoever designed them. It’s a pity I didn’t know this yesterday, I certainly wouldn’t have bought the washing machine.

The handy bit of plastic in the way makes it impossible to undo the bolt with a spanner. Great design work guys!

For anybody wondering how to remove the plastic plugs, use the bolt in a circling motion to pry them out. Easy!

These are a nightmare. I’ll be informing the company I work for to give indesit machines a wide berth from now on. Good work guys. You really earned your salary with this one

I installed my washer this morning..had to use both hands to remove the transit bolts, as they were very tight! But the rest was easy!

@@IndesitCustomerServiceUK Is it essential that the caps are put in the holes after the bolts are removed or are they not needed?

The transit pins seem harder to remove on indesit machines, having bought other models in the past, I’ve had no problems with other models... until I bought an indesit machine. Like the rest on here, the third pin tends to fall in. In my opinion indesit need to look at how they are designing their transit pins, look at the other companies. Try to make them more as a whole piece rather than some plastic pushed into a rubber washer, that way they will not detach and fall into the machine!

It's crazy that Indesit didn't think to mark these bolts in red.
    Poor engineering

Mmmmm not quite the reality here! I didn't expect to pay £30 to remove some ridiculously tough transit bolts. I've built numerous furniture over the years and NEVER had this sort of trouble
