    Different equipment since last worked for bus line in 2001.
    Loved the ferry when storms arrived as was tossed regularly when waves hit bow and drenched equipment on deck.

    I love YPR, its so small and cute, if your from rupert you see at least 10 people you know every time. I recognized 3 hahaha

    That is a really nice terminal. That wasn't there when I last stopped there on my way to Kodiak.
    I'd love to actually stay in PR soon.

    I lived on Digby Island in the 90s and always have fond memories of my time in and around Prince Rupert. I don't miss the rain though. Nice tour.

    Why did the flight attendant say "take any seat. The further back the better"?? Do seat assignments on boarding passes mean nothing?

    Really awesome! What's the restaurant that you walked out of in the beginning of the video? Looks pretty nice!

    Finally someone vlogs my airport! The ferry and bus is a pain, but it works out to being about the same time as driving to terrace - albeit cheaper from there. The transfers also gotten better since they improved the bus system and upgraded the terminal 5 or so years ago. The ferry is also a treat on a nice day :)

    Ah, Digby Island. I caught lots of halibut near it when I lived in Rupert back in '71-'73. We had two airlines back then, Pacific Western and Air Canada servicing Rupert and the PWA planes were prop driven while Air Canada used Boeing 737's. Naturally, we always tried to book with Air Canada when going South to Vancouver and returning as they usually flew direct while PWA stopped on the Charlottes. Occasionally, Air Canada would stop at Terrace on the way up though. Thanks for posting as I'd like to visit Rupert once more while I still can.

    Thanks for an update in PR. When I was growing up, the closets airport was Terrace, BC.

    Cool video. I’ve been the pilot on the flight a few times, it’s cool to see this part

    Hi, cool video. How’s the rain situation year round? Do you get weeks of non stop rain? On which seasons?

    • @nonrevmax
      @nonrevmax  3 года назад +1

      I'm not from Prince Rupert but it's *typically* gets more rain than Vancouver on a more frequent basis. In Vancouver the rain season typically is from late September/early October to some time in May, it's common for it to be cool and damp sometimes during the summer but it's typically very nice in the area

    At the time of posting this comment, Air Canada has temporarily stopped flying to Prince Rupert due to the Pandemic and when eventually returning when vialable. Not sure why some people think this is a permanent change....

    Given that there's one flight a day, how hard is it to NonRev out of YPR? Do you get your seat before leaving PR or does that happen at the airport?

    • @nonrevmax
      @nonrevmax  4 года назад +1

      It gets done at the airport. I got bumped off my first attempt, stayed the night, and had no issues getting on the next day
