    Hi Karla and Matt. The name is Bailey, Matt Bailey - I like my drinks Shaken not stirred. I never knew about this Route. Thank you for bringing us along for the Adventure. At least you did the trip before all grass/forest fires. Stay safe and keep having Fun on all your Adventures.

    Thanks for that. This rail trip in on my to do list. It is a lottery with the weather though. I hope to do it in early fall it's the year that I am still working on. Would love to have an empty train.

      haha yes, early spring is almost always bad weather I would think, which is probably why it was empty. But I would think summer and fall would be much better

    Interesting train ride through N. BC and into Alberta. Great having the train to yourselves. Shame you didn’t get time to explore the towns. Summer time would be nicer though. Jasper is a beautiful area.

    Taking a Via Rail train is always wonderful for the scenery and the food. The food has always been really good in my experience. However, I would not recommend it if you are pressed for time or have any kind of schedule to meet, as the trains are always late, or very off schedule on the late side. Otherwise if you have a lot of time it is a really nice experience.

    • @MustDoCanada
      @MustDoCanada  Год назад

      Yes, it's just on these adventure trains that the food is not good. And I believe just in the off-season. But the regular trains I've heard are good. But yes, they have to give right of way to cargo trains, which is unfortunate

    I'm taking the Vancouver-Jasper train in June. I'm hoping I don't get to see much smoke in Jasper. Thanks for the video. Did you guys go up the Skytram ? I heard good things about the scramble to Indian Ridge.
