Made a bracelet using your tutorial :D Aimed for a necklace, but didn't have enough thread at the time ^^; Also, I figured out that with some maneuvering and patience, you can use a straightening iron to melt the ends together, and it doesn't leave a noticeable burn mark like a real flame :) Thank you for helping fulfill my wish of having one again :D
does anyone know where you can get the rainbow colored cord? you know, the cord that has a bunch of different colors that fade into each other. I've done tons of research and can't find anything but tacky fabric cord. I want the plastic stuff like this. does anyone know where to get it?
I used to wear these chokers all the time. This tutorial is great and the 90's music playing all the way through just made it so much better :) Thank you :)
PLEASE HELP I have a tattoo choker necklace that I got from brand melville and I have never worn this type of choker necklace before and I am clueless on how to unclasp it if it can unclasp; basically how to get it on. How do you put the tattoo choker necklace on?
I grew up wearing the black ones, I had clear once with beads on it with the knots. I can't wait to buy some string. Paige Noelle what was that background in the very beginning with the 90's holographic look?
Holy mother of god I was looking for those necklaces for like ages! Didn't even know how to google it since I didn't know the name of it - I'm not an American, nor an English native speaker, I'm actually from Israel and those necklaces were a big hit when I was in Elementary school, I think it was in middle school too, I was born on '92 so my teen years were on the beginning of the 2000. Anyways, I think we didn't have a name for that necklace. So now I really wanna make one for myself. Gosh lately it seems that the 90s are back, and it feels so good! :))
I made this and when I got to the sticking part where u use the fire I got so scared I was gonna burn my finger and I couldn't stop shaking for like an hour straight😂
I bought one of these kind of things but in a bracelet form and it got stretched out and wont return to its normal size :( does anyone know how to get it back to its original size?
The memories haha I had one in every color, ten times over. The chokers, bracelets, anklets, rings. If I knew how to make them I would of saved so much lol.
You can put them in a compact area like a small jar or tiny closed box, leave it in there for a few weeks and it should get smaller. But that may depend on what it's made out of. Hope that helped!
The video is really helpful, thank you for it! My quetion, however, is how the hell do you put it on? Sqeeze it over through your head? I have no idea...
This is how mine was made, it doesn't on my neck completely but my moms said that I should have mines loose because if they were tight, it will feel like its actually a "Choker"
Cool! I've been seeing people with these and I wasn't sure whether it was some fancy tattoo or an actual choker?!! Now I have my answer and I could easily make one, thank you! 😍💕
Hola, el hilo se llama nailon o hilo de pesca se consigue en fantasía Miguel. O bien el collar hecho lo puedes conseguir en todo moda, venden de varios colores yo compre uno azul. Espero te sirva saludos ♡
For those asking where to get the stretchy cord, you can get it at joann fabrics or hobby shops, and if they don't have it you can get it online at www.etsy.com/listing/256862183/
Do you think 0.8mm will be good too? I see everyone using 1.0mm but I can't even get it in my own country so I have to order it online and I finally found something affordable (with shipping) but it's 0.8...
I accidentally bought nylon string aswell and you can make it work if you do as suggested, pull the loops thight. And also, if you have one that is really thin, try folding it and make it double, it will make it a little easier.
THIS MUSIC MIX IS EVERYTHING THE FEELS

I remember wearing wearing these choker necklaces back in the 90's when I was kid. Loved them.
This was a wonderful tutorial, but 4:25 was painfully awkward.

I was thinking of buying the clear stuff and like dying it with fabric dye to stain it. I really just wanna get that rainbow cord though :(
I took clear stretchy string and cut a long piece off the roll, then painted it with nail polish. With one coat, it seemed to work pretty well...
Aubrey Greenawalt Michaels sells it in the kids beading section. Its creatology brand :)
WALMART, and craft stores.
I find them in the dollar tree
I used to wear these chokers all the time. This tutorial is great and the 90's music playing all the way through just made it so much better :) Thank you :)
chokers are so rad! loved this DIY

I used to be obsessed with these when I was a kid especially the ones with the beads in them that you got from chucky cheese us. Great memories!!
I grew up wearing the black ones, I had clear once with beads on it with the knots. I can't wait to buy some string. Paige Noelle what was that background in the very beginning with the 90's holographic look?

I got a lot of compliments wearing this! thanks so much ☺💖💖
I made this and when I got to the sticking part where u use the fire I got so scared I was gonna burn my finger and I couldn't stop shaking for like an hour straight😂
gahhh nooooo!!!! See I told you it was a little dangerous! Just tie a knot instead :)
Paige Noelle you can tie a not and then melt it too. :)
I did it, it was hard for me tho 😂😂😂
If there's a next time, you can tie a knot and use pliers to hold the cord instead of just your fingers.

The video is really helpful, thank you for it! My quetion, however, is how the hell do you put it on? Sqeeze it over through your head? I have no idea...
I have a question do u put the chocker over your head
You kept saying over but didn't you mean under? Because you have to put the strand under the other for it to create a loop
Yes! I'm sorry you are definitely correct :) I was having trouble explaining it whoopsies!
This is how mine was made, it doesn't on my neck completely but my moms said that I should have mines loose because if they were tight, it will feel like its actually a "Choker"
literally can't believe people buy these things... they used to have these as prizes at chuck e cheese in the 90s lol
It's not the 90's no more lol I wanna try a black one to see how it will look
Cool! I've been seeing people with these and I wasn't sure whether it was some fancy tattoo or an actual choker?!! Now I have my answer and I could easily make one, thank you! 😍💕

Where can you get the stretch band at good video by the way😄
I'm SO making this tomorrow!! Btw love how most of ur songs are Britney lol she's my inspiration xD
Um this isn't working out, do you have an etsy? Because I love how you make them tbh and I just cannot do this
Did you just use a normal bead when you were done with the choker? :p
how do you get it on?
you just pull it over your head :) that's why it's stretchy
+Paige Noelle i can never make one of these chokers no matter what method i use! what should I do?
+emily krupski Maybe I could help a little. Check out the channel 'Craft Life' and with it search tatoo braclets.
Well i just bought one for ninety one cents on Ebay.

New favorite RUclipsr omg
Am I the only one noticing most of the music is from early 2000's, not the 90's....
I noticed as well but she never claimed it was music from the 90s so its ok
I make power cord brackets,so the melting at the end was easy
I love the songs you played!
This video is very helpful but is there any store I could get them at?
I could spend the materials in Spanish? pleasee!
Me podrian pasar los materiales en español? porfavoor¡
How thick are your stretch cords? I can only find 0.8mm... Thanks for the video by the way!!! :)
*If you don't have a binder clip then use tape.
but a binder clip is waaay better.
Thank you! This helped us not have to buy them- I will use this many more times!
Where'd you get your music? Please reply! I love the 90's! Love your videos to!!!!
the song is in the description box
Thanks
i bought one online and after wearing it twice the chain part broke :/ gonna try this and hopefully it will work out!
SWAGGIE. OMG IM SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS THANK YOU SO SO MUCH
Do you think 0.8mm will be good too? I see everyone using 1.0mm but I can't even get it in my own country so I have to order it online and I finally found something affordable (with shipping) but it's 0.8...
Where did you buy the string from? And what's the recommend mm size for the string?

Awsome you just got a new subbie thanks for the idea and the nostalgia!
My mom had a lot of those bands in the 90's ... and they are all black:D

I tried and tried and tried and i CAN'T GET IT
N entendir nd
were did u buy ur glitter strech cor i cant find it anywhere aaahhh plz
+Paige Noelle what brand would you suggest for doing this in colors other than black?
I used a nylon string and it keeps on getting undone D:
try stretchy plastic string like I used and pull the "loops" tight to get them to stay in place
I accidentally bought nylon string aswell and you can make it work if you do as suggested, pull the loops thight. And also, if you have one that is really thin, try folding it and make it double, it will make it a little easier.
heartsandhauls I'm still having this same problem too...I bought stretchy string, but my loops never stay :(
heartsandhauls where did you buy your string from?
Awesome Slipknot profile picture lmao
what kind of beads did you use to close them? :)
Why does my choker end up twisted but with the right pattern? :(
does anyone know where I could get some black elastic/stretch cord in the UK?
such a good diy, great job girl!
The string is so hard to work with! I can't even do the beginning of it :c
This is the best video on RUclips
could you use clamps at the ends or no.
You can get them from claires for $8 but its more cheaper to diy
I want to buy one and make one bc they only come in black
