That's great little airplane you have. I've enjoyed the fly out adventures you and Juliet have done. Both te flying around in the Pietenpol, and wasn't there a Cessna 140 to a few places also? Guess I need to go back and re-watch. Thanks the videos.

Reuben yes, we also fly a Cessna 140 too, through a partnership. We have some more fly out adventures in the works for the next couple weeks! Glad you enjoyed

Lemme try this again. Posted this comment on the wrong video (doofus); enjoying your previous uploads. Curious what actually came loose on the internal bracing. Did whatever it anchors to come loose, or was something not safety wired? Seems strange only one was loose?

Perhaps we will do a video with a closer explanation! There are “spoke nuts” at the end of each wire that put tension on the assembly; the threads on the wire itself stripped, ended up replacing both crossing wires in the first wing bay.

Tim, do you know why you cut a circle into your wing and not a square?

    • @TangoandJuliet

Kim Clancy access panels are circular because it helps the fabric retain its structure without fraying in the corners that a square access hole would make. That’s a good question!
