The argument is not that the supposed crimes were for a limited time. The argument is that eternal torture and a most merciful being are incompatible.

Forever as he states is a terminology that differs to than the literal meaning.. like this is taking forever… for an example a day in hell is like a 1000 days in hellfire.. allah doesn’t need us but our purpose was to worship him so if our purpose is failed what is the point of hell in the end if it does not purify us back to him.. as he said his punishment is less than his mercy.. so will the oft-forgiving and most merciful relinquish the punishment eventually bc our purpose was obtained in hells purification?

    • @gulizarali2176
      @gulizarali2176 9 месяцев назад

Also what’s the purpose of this test on earth? It’s limited.. where as the heaven that was promised uses different terminology that means never end.. so why wud it be diff terms for hell and heaven?

Hellfire is not eternal, the word "khalidina" and "abad" it also means for a long time.
read also V.128 An-naam in arabic: ila macha allahu which means "except what God wants" (speaking of the length of stay in hell)
also in v.107 and 108 (Hud) he says the same thing
    v23 (an-naba)
the prophet mohamed talked about the last men in the hellfire who after he go in paradise.
    there is other evidence too

    • @SuperSonic-9999

      no "abadan" means "never"
"abada" means "forever", also prophet mohamed was talking about that muslim guy who will be the LAST person to enter heaven, the disbelievers will never enter heaven and also let's not forget that allah claimed he doesn't forgive shirk, they r burning in hell but he said he doesn't forgive shirk so it wouldnt make sense for the punishment to suddenly stop and suddenly the disbleivers cease to exist
Quran 6:27-28 is the biggest evidence of hell being eternal

@@SuperSonic-9999but the story goes on to state that if you ask for mercy, ask of him, allah will give so if the person of hellfire asks to get closer to heaven allahs mercy since he called on him was to give it, in human nature if one is tortured by hellfire will obviously end up asking of forgiveness , Allah being oft forgiving and all knowing will make the judgment to those that are burning to relinquish them eventually since his wrath is less than his mercy, i mean wats the purpose of having a hell if it does not purify or a man whose purpose was made to worship.. does Allah need us to burn forever? Does Allah need us to worship forever? But since we are made to worship and a test was failed, what next? Punishment is less than his mercy.. and our goal was to follow him.. so when that is reached in hell or in earth, what next? The 7 heavens that does not hold a reward as equally? What abt the bigger objective? Why not just erase ppl entirely?

      @@gulizarali2176
yeah no that will never apply for a disbeliever. And that story is about the final human being to enter heaven (obviously this guy is a Muslim) and btw this is AFTER he already left hell.
The disbeliever will literally suffer forever. Hell will exist forever. I mean just look at surat Qaf when Allah says that hell is asked wether or not it's full, and it literally says "are there more I can burn?"
Also these abodes r meant to be eternal. It makes no sense for heaven to be eternal but hell just suddenly ceases to exist. Also Quran 6:27-28 Allah already told us y hell is eternal. He says that EVEN IF he literally gives them a 2nd chance (this is better than ceasing to exist), they still ultimately go RIGHT BACK to their shirk, I mean HOW STUPID IS THAT??? Just a few seconds ago u were in the worst place that has ever existed, and u were saved from it, and yet STILL RETURNED TO SHIRK?? It's crazy.
Also people generally have a problem with hell in general because fire sounds harsh to them. Humans r more than just evil, Quran 6:27-28 proves to us that humans might actually be retarded and we're not as smart as we think we r.

If we adopt the view that hell may be finite for everyone, how ever long that may be, then why would Allah allow it to become a majority view? I am not saying it isn't finite, I'm just saying what plausible reasons would there be that Allah allowed scholars to derive a conclusion that wasn't entirely correct.

Muslims would say their culpability for belief is based on a few things. They believe that polytheism is the one unforgivable sin which is worse than murder, grape, etc. Muslims are also told that all humans made a divine contract with God, "Am I not your Lord". This also seems to imply some sort of innate culpability on belief. Of course, this is quite an absurd claim which does not comport with current evidence or rationality. There are some ideas in Islamic tradition that claims that people, to whom came no true guidance, will have some sort of special test in the afterlife.
Many Muslims also have this idea that good deeds of non-muslims are rewarded in this life, in order to for God to remain fair and just. Apparently it's followed by appropriate torture in the after life for their non-belief.

So allah knows ppls nature, so would it be safe to say hence why there are 7 heavens , the reward isn’t equal but the purpose to worship him even in hellfire will eventually lead to paradise bc this worlds test was failed but the purification will do its purpose in the end since the ignorance of this world did not or would not bc as it states man can be as low as a pig or higher than angels bc of the free will that it’s given to us so even tho allah knows, allahs mercy is far greater than the wrath

    (1) the concept of time is only applicable to the universe with time being present. Anything that takes place outside time can be considered eternal as time is not present.
    (2) Believe in Allah and do good - there are those who believe and commit genocide. I dont think they will be in Paradise after their punishment in hell. I think they will cease to exist. The same with those who associate partners or atheists.
    (3) Those brought back to life will have their memory of judgment erased. Then they will still reject God once brought back. Over and over again.
