The guy who said he "absolutely detests" the burger joint and compared the meat to meatloaf is exactly the type of guy South Park could have made fun of in their Yelp episode.
At the same time, Alan probably saw the Yelp episode and thought every yelper was like that.

I mean the fact that she could not leave the reviewers alone and responds to all criticism of her food with pesonal attacks including homophobia (she calls two men "pansies" when they walk out her restaurant) means she most definitely is an insecure bully who wants to have the last word.

Part of me is kinda curious what would have happened if the "theater of Yelp reviewers" trick was used on the first visit to Amy's Baking Company.
(Also am curious what changes Ramsay would have made to ABC if the owners weren't batshit insane, but that's beside the point)
That's a good question, he was really impressed with how clean ABC was.
I bet he would have done a new POS system, and made the kitchen larger to bake on site. That place probably would have done really well too if the owners weren't nuts.
@@Lindrios I don't think ABC is really always clean and organized. As we've seen with other episodes, nobody else ever managed to clean up in time even if it is just a facade to show Gordon. I think she just set it up for the show. Wanted to masquerade faultlessness. Apparently even the cakes in the display were brought in specially instead of being her own work.

There was only one place I worked that I found out as I was making tip the owner came to me and said “you get paid hourly the tip goes to repairs for the building,” I spoke to him out back and he wouldn’t budge at all. It was my first and last day
They closed down 2 months later

One piece of advice I got about working in a creative field is you have to be able to both give and receive constructive, good faith criticism or you're never going to succeed. And if that doesn't sound possible for you then it's legitimately okay to pursue your passion as a hobby. It doesn't make it less meaningful.
