Data's tachyon detection net didn't work forever against Romulans, and even the gravimetric eddies caused by a ship's movement was neutralized by the time the Scimitar hit the scene.

Shatner and Takei are believed to know the identity of that PA, but have declined to reveal it. Not sure if Waltdr Koenig knows.
The Bird of Prey was designed off the look of a Klingon Canadian Goose, and if you have a problem with Klingon Canadian Gooses then you have a problem with me and suggest you let that one marinate.

Waàay back in 1979, I had a Matchbox car sized "matching pair" of the Enterprise and a Katenga class battle cruiser released in relation to the Motion picture. The Katenga might have been the D-7 des😢because it was simpler and less Aztec'd than the Katenga shown in your footage. It was among my favorite space ship toys as a child and love it so much more than a Bird of Prey.
In the TOS novel "The Kobayashi Maru" Mr. Scott explains that the Klingons D7 could do what was called shield shearing, when in a tight formation they can have the shields of each ship join into a larger shield to cover the whole formation of D7's. Grate novel if you what to see how each of the old crew did in their version of the Kobayashi Maru test. Not each test was the same. Fun read. Oh FYI Sulu passed.

There are influences predating Warhammer. The Stormbird is the fighter-bomber variant of the Messerschmitt Me-262, the world's first operation jet fighter. The pure fighter/interceptor variant was called the "Schwalbe" or Swallow. You can look it up right here on RUclips. It was really a remarkable piece of aeronautical engineering. I think there's a non-flying example at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. When my mother went, there was a shooting model of the TOS U.S.S. Enterprise there as well. JAMES
I hate that they call the Klingon ships k'tinga class in SNW. Those are later upgrades of the D7, from around the time of the Constitution refit class in the movie era, they should not be around pre TOS.

Defending the Defiant when it was getting it's ass handed by the Borg. Which I made add IS WHAT IT WAS BUILT TO FIGHT. The E came in like the Total Bad Ass it is and saved it and took the borg cube down with little effort. So which ship is better????
One might argue that Enterprise came in late but just in time to pick up the pieces the Defiant left over after fighting the cube for hours. Not to mention Picard's little listening in on the collective. If Worf had had that kind of information, the Defiant would have been doing a victory dance around Earth using their pulse phasers as strobe lighting by the time the Enterprise hit the scene.

I'm pretty sure the Defiant class was supposed to be produced in large numbers so they could fight the Borg in wolf-pack formations. It's far too small a ship to take on one cube by itself.

And again, Enterprise didn't fight that thing for hours on end, they swooped in, got hit by one tractor beam (cool, they survived that!) and then did the "let's all hit that part of the target" attack run and that's all she had to endure. How is that even a comparison?

The Romulans are the masters of cloaking technology, not the Klingons. It does not matter how many times you show a Klingon vessel with this tech. The Romulans were the smoother operators.
D7 has become a necessity to make audience ease with the StarTrek Discovery after that stupid Victorian Style interior designed Sarcophagus disaster and the other meaningless ship designs of that era for their understanding of Klingon (?!) but to become canon.
