This is arts meeting spirituality and Ruhi. Just beautifully expresses nuances that takes pages of writings to convey. The female actress was great and the male actress should get an Oscar
Beautifully done! In case there were some who didn't recognize the poem; it was perhaps the best-known and most beautiful poem of Tahereh, Qurratu'l-'Ayn, "Point by Point ". It was also made into a song by our most famous Persian Baha'i male singer, Hooshmand Aghili. I'll see if I can find it. Here is the poem beautifully translated by Amin Banani with Jascha Kessler. If I met you face to face, I would retrace-erase!-my heartbreak, pain by pain, ache by ache, word by word, point by point. In search of you-just your face!-I roam through the streets lost in disgrace, house to house, lane to lane, place to place, door to door. My heart hopeless-broken,crushed!-I heard it pound, till blood gushed from me, fountain by fountain, stream by stream, river by river, sea by sea. The garden of your lips-your cheeks!- your perfumed hair, I wonder there, bloom to bloom, rose to rose, petal to petal, scent to scent. Your eyebrow-your eye!-and the mole on your face, somehow they tie me, trait to trait, kindness to kindness, passion to passion, love to love. While I grieve, with love-your love!-I will reweave the fabric of my soul, stitch by stitch, thread by thread, warp by warp, woof by woof. Last, I-Tahereh-searched my heart, I looked line by line. What did I find? You and you, you and you, you and you.
i left the baha’i faith because of this exact same thing, i felt so alone and i just couldn’t fulfill anything, i converted to islam but a big part of me still love the baha’i faith & Baha’u’llah, i cried the day i took my shahada because in my heart i deeply believed that Muhammad (pbuh) wasnt the last messenger. i hope in time i will find my way back to the Baha’i faith❤️🩹
So many gentle and thoughtful hints in this film about spiritual accompaniment. It teaches me a lot. I love how the main character tries to say a short healing prayer, and after a while a petal bookmark guides her to the beautiful long healing prayer.
Very well done, youth. Truly, you can move the world. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to you, all of you. Please continue to call on your higher susceptibilities for the advancement of humanity towards world peace. Peace is generated from within through the Holy Spirit. ❤️🙏🏾🥰
Wow! What an excellent production, so beautifully scripted, executed Short. Thank you for such a professional production. Hats off to and a standing ovation to the actress, director, cinematographer, writer, editor, producer, and "Baha'i Blog" of this inspiring short and piece of Art. Loved it, more please!
Hi Sohil! We are so glad you enjoyed this short film. It truly is a wonderful work and our role is only to help -- with the permission of the short film's creators -- share it with others. We are so glad you loved it. Thanks for watching!
I think it should include Abdu'l-Bahá's (and Bahá'u'lláh's) advice to just work on making our actions every today better than our actions (and thoughts and words) from yesterday. But apart from that, great job! Look forward to seeing more Bahá'í inspired films!
