The way the father talked to his son was beautiful. He didn't shame him for his feelings. Instead, the father understood him. This is how we should communicate with people. With compassion and love.

@@fredmadwick2143 thats vague and some parents are only like that because thats all they know, the way they were brought up, they will bring their children up. It may be wrong but you can't blame them they haven't been taught properly or at all. Best thing is to try speak with them calmly and slowly make a change.

@@fredmadwick2143 Asian parents are responsible & dedicated towards their families. Western children mostly don't know who the father is but thanks to Our Lord, almost 100% asian parents & Muslim parents are responsible to their family, they give proper education to their children & you can see the most robust & strong family ties in muslims families.

May Allah grant our parents the highest abode in Jannatul Firdows without reckoning, and we all be reunited with them by the mercy of Allah. Aameen

This video hit me hard as my beloved father passed away a month ago & this is our 1st ramadhan without him 😢, he was a loving father & was the one who introduced islam to us which we now practice nonstop. kindly include him in your iftar dua's and pray for his maghfarat and entrance into jannatul firdaws.
    Jazakallah khair.

In sha Allah. Sister/brother this is the exact same situation we are in alhamdulillah we had 2 years with my baba being the grandad of my daughter holding her playing with her calling her little kitten. He was struggling from catatonic schizophrenia for more than 30 years but since his mum passed away 2 years ago he was sad for the first time in his life since his illness he cried in front of me and we had o idea he had any issues but only after his passing they found out he had deep vain thrombosis causing a audden pulmonary embolism. These things happen his father had passed from a heart attack after moving bank to the uk with him for his treatment. His life is no longer. Alhamdulillah i was guided back to Islam for the first time properly in my.life last Ramadan and had a year where I got to be the best daughter i could to him and when he passed i had taqwa that this is what was written for him. Even still i had to fight my displeasure in the state in which he passed to reach a poing where evry aspect of hid death is now accepted in my heart having understood that it was entirely by Allah and thinking of if this or that is haram on us. Submitting our will to Allah and doing any ibadat is beneficial to them. May Allah make it easy on us to fulfil our duties to him and our family and earn his pleasure not his displeasure and to bring ease to others may Allah grant alk who habe passed jannat al firduas and reunite us with them and make their afterlife easy for them and us through his mefcy. I wish you the best in life as a slave of Allah and hope you gave barakah and Allah's mercy in this life and the next.ameen.

We let it out to Allah because we consider him the closest. When we are lost we can't hear Allah's voice telling us to go back to his deen but he definitely shows us sign by people, social media, dream etc. Slowly our sadness turns into anger to hatred. I, too go through RUclips videos to get away from life but realization is the main point it means that you still have a chance

Can you guys believe that I cried over this, I'm a girl but in the exact same situation as that boy, I have lost my mother to covid three months ago and this is actually the first Ramadan without her beautiful spirit in the house, I'm still hurt like it happened yesterday, I couldn't move on when she was literally everything I have, I find myself often staring at my father and my siblings how could they get back to normal as if nothing has happened! I don't know if people grief differently but from what I see I'm the only one still suffering from her death, I took the responsabily on my shoulders this Ramadan and I was waiting for it to come and heal my soul, and I'm learning how to live with a piece of my heart missing.
Allah took her from me but gave me a purpose to live and die for, I want to bring her happiness as I didn't make her happy in dunya.
Thank you so much for this very touching video.

Assalamualaikum sister, I'm so sorry you had to go through this and are still going through this unbearable void, but please know that your mum is at a better and beautiful place now. I'm sure she's proud of you and I'm sure that even if you think you didn't give her happiness in this dunya, you were a true source of joy and happiness for her. Try to hold strong, dear and make your mum even more proud, she wants you to be happy, she wants you being at your very best, you can do it. Pray for her, but also for yourself. Be kind to yourself and take care.

When it comes to matters regarding the Day of Judgement, there is one dua that I normally make and that is for Allah to grant me JAANAH WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY
It's the easiest way out...imagine you are told on that they to go without accounting for anything you did your whole life... subhanallah
May Allah grant us Jannah without accountability.

I too, lost my beautiful mother last July, and it still seems like yesterday, there is not a day that passes that I don't think of her and feel pain, I loved her so much. Alhumdulillah, she took the Shahada, which gives me such relief that I can make duaa for her, and ask Allah to reunite us again in Janntul Firdous. I still hear her voice say my name, I hear her laughter, can't look at her pictures without breaking down, it is never easy to lose a loved one. May Allah forgive all their sins, and make their graves full of light, and reunite us with them for eternity in Jannah, Ameen!

SubhanAllah. This hit me hard. Last year Ramadhan, my mom and I spent the whole month in the hospital taking care of my dad. He had suffered lung cancer for more than 10 years and apparently he was dying at that time. We have been going in and out of hospital for treatment ever since he was diagnosed. He passed away during 2nd day of eid. My family and his friend said to me that when he was at the hospital, he kept saying that he is so proud of me and that I am "anak syurga" which meant "a child in heaven". I was with him til his last breath and I helped him say La Ilaha Illa Allah before he finally left. Now, during this month, I remember him a lot, and pray a lot for him. Last year Ramadhan was the hardest yet memorable. Alhamdulillah despite losing my dad, we as a family became much closer to Allah (which was one of the do'a I made during Ramadhan last year) and I am more eager to learn the Deen and stay firm in Allah's path. Alhamdulillah Allah granted me another Ramadhan to do more good deeds. I ask Allah to grant my dad's do'a to make me a child in heaven. And I ask Allah to gather me with my dad, all of my family and the ummah of Rasulullah SAW in Jannah.
Remember, the hard times are easier when you have Allah with you. Always ask Allah to make everything easy.
Jazakumullahu khayr to OnePathNetwork for this video. I hope it could benefit others who are going through grief of losing someone they love.

Alhamdulillah. I can't stop crying.. So many emotions for me and many others during Ramadan... I am thankful to have this level of emotion as a Muslim. Subhanallah. Thank You Allah for making my heart feel vulnerable.

I cried many tears while watching this video. I only wished that someone could consolidate me like this father did after losing my mother. Nonetheless 20 years gone by and the pain is felt through every reminder about the loss of parents.
Jzk for the impactful reminder One Path.
    Keep up the great work.
