I didn't realize how old this video is , but I still wanted to thank you for taking the time to not only video the entire process but add excellent tips and very detailed descriptions on areas you thought needed further explanation. You obviously take pride in what you do and I hope your customers appreciate your attention to detail, the care you take of their vehicle and your expertise. I can see by how your vehicle is setup, how
everything is arranged and in its place in the truck that you are extremely organized.I live in TEXAS so I can't take advantage of your services but I would call and have you work on my windshield anytime. Hope all is well with you.....

Thank you for your decent posting Alfredo. My name's Minhyeong Kim and I'm a glass guy in South Korea. I'm a big fan of your quality job. It is really helpful.

NICE Job...Very detail oriented. When I had mine done, they were in and out in no time and broke the glass getting it out. I found pieces of glass for a longtime. Maybe for an extra step to make your customers impressed....Get a bottle of mothers back-to-black and hit that cowling while it's off. The bottle lasts a long time and it would get huge props from a customer.

Great job. Very thorough. Attention to detail is a great asset. Needing to replace my 2011 4runner's front windshield since it has a large crack running from driver to passenger side.

The Toyota parts show two stoppers, dam and channels. They say they are not reusable. I saw you use precut channels, but what about the other stuff. My tundra whistles and I can see someone (without your skill) has been in there and siliconed it all up. I know silicone is a nono. Great video.

On the older Rav 4s and 4runners that have the side moldings held in with a retaining strip, do you usually wire the entire window out or cut out the top and sides like in this video to avoid damaging the retainers?

Did you have to reinstall the lower windshield molding/dam? My windshield is good but I need to replace the lower windshield molding only. Thanks.

Thanks man.. we're currently using the solo for them difficult sets. your Roll a deck looks easier to use and more versatile, i feel we could utilize this tool on more windshields and eliminate back and shoulder stress altogether. and, of course get a more precise set.

Great video. I noticed when you removed the old windshield you removed what looked like weather strip from the top of the windshield but I didn't see you put a new one in. Is it essential? I ask because I just went through a car wash and my weather stripping came out on the top.

Benton Palmer thank you. The new windshield had the new molding already installed.

Alfredo's Auto Glass Repair Corona Is it possible for me to replace the molding on my windshield? If so, what would it be called? I can’t find it online.

Hey Alfredo, what do you do with the old broken windshields? Thanks AGU student.

    • @AlfredosAutoGlassRepairCorona

We dispose the windshields and temper glass in a regular dumpster. Some glass retailers take the temper glass for recycleing.
