- Today we examine the timeline in which Mirio is the 9th holder of one for All, whilst Deku NEVER meets All Might and struggles to get into UA.
This video will focus on how season 1 of MHA would’ve looked if this was all the case.
There are a number of things that would’ve changed, not least the fate of SHINSO and the relationship between Sir Nighteye and All Might!

I feel like without Deku in U.A., things don't go well for Ida, Uraraka, Bakugou, or most of 1-A.
Ida would likely be killed by Stain, who would in turn either not be stopped, or would've brought down way more people before being brought down.
Uraraka might not make it in to U.A>, or alive for that matter, as it didn't seem like anyone else was looking out for her, and she partially passed thanks to her own heroic points in saving her future bae.
Bakugou would likely continue to be a tool, getting a taste of humble pie from the likes of Todoroki and YaoMomo, but would never get that important lesson of talent not being everything that watching Deku's progress beat into him.
Lastly, Todoroki would probably never use his fire side, and would still be the angsty loner we saw him as in S1.
There's all sorts of other impacts Deku's absence brings, but I feel like these are the most notable ones.

@@jaylenlenear7850 I dunno. He's got the personality and talent, but he doesn't seem as analytical as Deku.
He's good at predicting his opponents, but nothing we've seen suggests he has Deku's intellect. In fact, we know he's got pretty average grades.
He also lacks Deku's perspective of being Quirkless, which lays into a lot of that boy's decisions.
Granted, he couldn't control his Quirk for most of his life, but that's not quite hte same.
I still feel that a Dekuless UA suffers immensely in the long run.

And since the theory of the villains winning, I don't think mirio would be able to stop them, cause eek I was the first person to see the other people that used all for one, so deku is special, and the world would probably did without him being a hero, they wouldn't even be able to save eri, and la Brava and gental criminal would get into UA,, with more and more people not trusting the school, and bakugo probably wouldn't even be saved, or all might would die insted

4. He tries out at another hero school (probably fails entrance again)

Without Deku, there would have been a knock on effect for some of the other students, like them not reaching their full potential. Like Todoroki not using his fire due to not having his fight/talk with Deku and Shinso not realising the vocal part of quirk was not enough and he need to learn to be physically imposing as well.

Yeah totally, and All Might probably would have died much earlier because it was Nighteye’s vision (which is presumably in the timeline where mirio is his successor)

I feel like deku would have become a vigilante or perhaps he would end up a villain by getting a quirk from AFO or the doctor out of desperation lol that would be a turn of events. There are a lot of people who desperately wanted to be heroes but couldn't because of society and being quirkless in highschool could have pushed deku to be someone like gentle. I dont think he has it in him to end up like shigaraki or stain though.

@@sensey181 The thing is heroism isn't an objective thing in this series. People like stain or re-destro feel like they are their own heroes and they are doing justice. Even chisaki thought he would save the world by getting rid of quirks because he thought they were a disease ( and rightly so when you think about how they affected society ). For many of the villains the hero society is their enemy

@@419er Yeah that's true but the thing is Midoriya is totally by the side of the heroes. He admires All Might a lot and has a lot of notebooks about these heroes. It really doesnt look like he was going for the hero killer path or anything, he is strongly by the side of the "heroes" since he was little and I don't think it was going to change no matter what he was going to live, he doesnt seem like the type of guy who would change his vision of life easily plus he has a mom and he cares a lot about her, if she does not want him to do bad things, he aint doing bad things. Midoriya is way too "good" of a person to become a villain from my pov

Let's just keep it short.
If Deku didn't get One-for-all, most likely a lot of people would suffer or die.
And a lot of people wouldn't suffer or die that might have in the current timeline.
You seem to be operating under the idea that an uber-powered Mirio wouldn't do the same kind of heroics as Deku.
The difference would mostly likely mostly be who he saves rather than if he saves anybody, so really the main changes are for the audience as our favorites probably get decimated.

Maybe not an entire series, but a few Omakes would be realistic, showing how Mirio would have handles key fights in the series, like against overhaul.
That is already made, i think.
The vigilantes manga series. It's like in the intro of the vigilantes manga.
He's clearly taking inspiration from comics and half of all western comics are just what ifs from the main line series' so there's a good possibility

It's likely that Iida would've been killed by stain since Deku wouldn't have been there to save him and stain might've gotten away therefore the video of him inspiring the members of the vanguard action squad to join the league of villains wouldn't have been created. Therefore, they would've never attacked class 1A and 1B Bakugo never would've been kidnapped All might would've never fought all for one and he never would've been arrested. Twice would've never introduced Overhaul to the vanguard action squad since they didn't exist. And if the Overhaul still took place it's likely Mirio still would've taken the quirk canceling bullet for Eri therefore ending his permeation quirk along with probably one for all as well and if overhaul was still arrested Shigaraki wouldn't have been there to destroy Overhauls hands (they never would've met.) Shiguraki would've been outnumbered agains the MLA (meta liberation army) and so they never would've became the the PLF (paranormal liberation front) and so the war arc would've NEVR HAPPENED therefore Mirko would've never been injured.

stupid Shigaraki wouldn’t of been outnumbered by the MLA. he took down 150% ReDestro by himself. Plus he has a full power infinite clone twice, and gigantomachia so you are off on that. Also if Mirio had fought chisaki we could assume he’d be able to use 30% or more so he would basically one shot overhaul and everyone else meaning the bullet never hit him because everyone fighting him got knocked tf out. Also the war arc still would’ve definitely happened. Awakened shigaraki, gigantomachia, and twice are more than enough to pull off a war and bring the heroes to the brink of death.
Being 5 mins late would have erased 4 seasons of pure awesomeness???

I feel so bad for Deku, he is such a sweet child. I don't think his story would end there (don't sleep on my boy), just because he was unable to get into UA. He would not give up on his dream to be a hero, that part of him is innate. But he would take a more realistic approach. I see two way his life ending up.
Firstly, I could see him joining the police force, and becoming an outstanding police officer or detective. I could see him working with Tsukauchi to finally put and end to All for One and the League of Villains. And through him he would meet Grand Torino and eventually All Might.
The second way his life could end up, is if he would become a rescue worker. Seeing how he has such deep knowledge regarding all the heroes, I would see him rising in the ranks pretty quickly, and becoming the main rescue coordinator. That way he would work closely with many heroes. This could lead him to get hired by one of the Hero Agencies (like Sir Nighteyes), or by the Hero Public Safety Commission, either way I could see him encountering Mirio and All Might.
Yeah, everyone keeps saying he'd just be a very evil villain (like join the league of villains) or even a small time villain (like Gentle Criminal) and I can't really see it. I know Deku even he admitted he possibly COULD have turned out like Gentle but sometimes people take that as he definitely WOULD have. The reason I think Deku would not have turned out to be a villain, even like Gentle, is that Gentle ultimately turned into a villain since he was too focused on being famous as a drive for being a hero and he didn't want to be forgotten. Deku's big focus has always been on helping others so at most as far as law breaking, I could see him being a vigilante. He could also just be a regular person who works a 9 to 5 job and admires heroes on the sidelines. But I could most definitely see him wanting to do things like you mentioned the proper way legally to still save people in some capacity with another profession and get a chance to work alongside heroes (where he would get to admire them in person up close).
@@raec5426 I agree with the vigilante part. Imagine Stain, as a good guy, without his urge to kill and punish "fake heroes". I think Deku would fit right in in the Vigilante series
I think police officer is the most likely maybe working directly under all mights police buddy. I definitely don't think dekus cut out to be a a vigilante
He could still get into UA. All might was referring to the Hero Course, but there's always general studies and Support.

I don't remember Shinsou being present in the group where uraraka, midoriya and iida were in. So no chance for him to save Ochako.

If All Might never met Deku. There is two things for my fact about. One: Maybe he will end up being a vigilante like the manga series. Two: He might end up the wrong path being a villain if he's father is All for One but that's just a theory I'm interested in.

I think all might would've either died or been seriously injured and have to tell the class about his weak form becuase deku bought the few seconds by distracting shigaraki with his shouting and his similarity to all might. Tenya also probably would've been killed by stain and stain wouldn't have been captured, bakugo wouldn't have learned about ofa. Kota would've been killed by muscular and probably some other students. The ones who saved bakugo would've been different if happening at all. Those are my thoughts
Edit (as brought up by replies) : Ochacko would've died in the exams or along with tsu by toga in the woods. Todoroki would've been killed by moonfish but bakugo probably would've still been rescued by kirishima and momo becuase momo could make a large slingshot to launch them. Nighteye might've survived becuase deku isnt a part of a timeline.

Also during bakogo and todoroki’s fight against the metal teeth guy deku wouldn’t have led dark shadow to them so bakogo would get kidnapped easier and todoroki would probably die there. I still think bakogo would get saved because the only survivors on the rescue mission would be momo and kirishima. Momo could make a giant slingshot or something so they’d still be able to shot in the air and bakogo would still grap kirishima’s hand.
Moral of the story. Ochako, tenya, todoroki, Koda, are dead. Nighteye lives

if Mirio had ofa, a mere bullet won't reach him. I mean he was already fast with his phase quirk, now imagine him with ofa
He would just make a shockwave that can deflect the bullet with a pelvic thrust.
If mirio had ofa, then the man who shot him will probably be unconscious the first time mirio punches him, that means he will not have the chance to shoot lemillion with the bullet.
And mirio will probably end that fight pretty quickly, he punched overhaul for about 3 times in their fight. Just imagine if all those punches is packed with ofa. Thats easy win for mirio

Don’t forget torodoki would probably still not been using use fire side and Iida would most likely be dead because of stain and all of that also Kota might be dead because of the training camp also how eri was saved might of been played out differently and she might of not gotten saved and mirio almost loses hes quirk. Also since Deku was seen as like the perfect predecessor mirio might of not unlocked all of the quirks from the past predecessor. Since there is a theory that bakugo is the 2nd predecessor of one for all that might of been played out differently and could be someone else or no one from the future. Also mirio might of not had that weird thing happened to him just like how it happened to Deku in the last ep of season 4
Todoroki most likely would have grown up past the stage of seeing his fire side as his father,but most likely would take longer.Also Deku got those powers and visions not because he was the perfect candidate but because One for All was at its best to be able to do that.At that point All might most likely pushed that to stop all for one.Bakugo being the second incarnation of one for all is just a theory,making it just a possibility. Although if it was going to happen,it could still work.Bakugo might be 2 grades down but after they graduate them meeting isn’t impossible.Saving Eri was also still lemillions main goal in that arc,since he was the first to get to there and almost winning goes to show that if he had all for one things would’ve ended faster.

I like the idea that alternate midoriya realizes that he won’t be able to immediately be in the hero course and goes on to join the support course, to learn how to invent gadgets and become a tech hero. Then he would have a great friendship and possibly love interest in mei hatsume. Honestly, anything with more mei, one of my favorite characters
To anyone who likes this idea: please check out boku no hero true hero. It’s an extremely well done fan manga that explores this concept with an added twist. That twist is stain. Well, first off, like what was mentioned. All Might would've never lost the sludge monster, therefore, Deku wouldn't have met him or asked that question, and the sludge monster wouldn't capture Bakugou, not giving Deku a chance to show his heroic actions. The attack on the USJ WOULD'VE happened though. I don't know if All Might would've came out alive or not: As mentioned, Deku was the one who saved him last vital seconds, if he wasn't there, All Might would be in great risk, don't know if it would be death or not. I think he'd still come out victorious though.
*Season 2*
*Sports Festival*
This is where the changes REALLY make an impact.
First off, If Deku was never there, Todoroki would've never used his fire quirk. We all know that Deku was the one who opened his eyes on his quirk and its value. No Deku, No Fire quirk. If Todoroki never used his fire, no one would've known he had a fire quirk, and even if they did. Up until the Sports Festival, he NEVER used it other than to burn his ice. Knowing that, Bakugou would've faced off Todoroki, and eventually won. He'd be satisfied that he was victorious, and he would've never shown very vulgar actions, making the villains not think he would be a great villain.
*Internships*
In the internships, the Hero Killer Stain was making quite a stir in the country. Had Deku not be there, Iida would've faced off Stain, without no one knowing, and a high chance he would've died. Keep in mind he was going to die in Timeline 1 before Deku came in last second and saved him, promptly calling for backup). So I think Iida would've died if it weren't for Deku saving him and calling Todoroki.
*Season 3*
*Training Camp*
If Bakugou wasn't angry, but rather victorious that he won, showing no signs of anger, they would've never attacked the training camp, since they did to kidnap Bakugou. If Bakugou wasn't kidnapped, then All Might would've never faced off AFO, or knew the League's base, or knew that Shigaraki was his master's grandson. I doubt the League Of Villains would've been a big threat to U.A as of now. They also wouldn't have met Kota at all.
*Provisional License Exam*
If Deku never attended UA, The class wouldn't have known how much threat they were under in the PLE (since he was the one to point out that they know their quirks) until after things got hectic and the school was heavily targeted. From there it could go 2 ways:
1. The majority of the class would've lost almost immediately, with the expectations of the prodigies (Bakugou and Todoroki)
OR
2. They would have a hard time, and when they split, each of them got motivation from Deku. I think they would've lost hope, as In Deku was at the bottom, and he slowly climbed up. The class thinks of him as very far away yet close to them. Unlike Todoroki and Bakugou, they were pros from the beginning, but Deku actually grew with them, so the class got motivation from his actions, as he was at the bottom of the barrel, no deku, no motivation, and a pretty good chunk would've lost.
*Season 4*
*Work Study*
Like what was mentioned in the video, Nighteye and All Might's relationship would've been much better if Deku wasn't there. (Hence he chooses Mirio and such)
At that point in time, the Nighteye Agency was tracking Kai Chisaki. Now, if Deku wasn't there, 2 things would've happened:
1. Mirio wouldn't have even bumped into Eri and Chisaki at ALL.
2. He would've, but he wouldn't look too much into it. Remember that Mirio was willing to leave Eri with Chisaki, but Deku remained Persistent.
He wouldn't have known that her name was Eri, nor gathered the info that she's trembling and scared.
If they knew all about Eri, then I doubt she would be saved in time, her AND Mirio, because Deku came just in time. Like I said, no deku.

In terms of La Brava and Gentle, I don't think they would've attacked UA. Keep in mind that they wanted to attack UA to become more popular than the League Of Villains, who gained popularity from attacking UA over and over. So I don't think they would've wanted to attack UA. Not yet, anyway.
In terms of Eri, If I'm putting to what I said to consideration, she'd either be in the hospital with very very deep wounds and even stay with Chisaki. As for Mirio, I don't think he'd survive.
That's my take in Deku's disappearance from class 1-A.
*Pros:*
Bakugou wouldn't be kidnapped.
La Brava and Gentle wouldn't have tried attacking UA.
All Might and AFO wouldn't have faced off.
LOV wouldn't cause quite a stir in society as of now.
All Might and Nighteye's relationship would be better.
*Cons:*
Todoroki would've never used his fire.
Iida would've probably died.
Kota would've still hated quirks.
All Might would've never known that Shigaraki was his Master's grandson
Mirio would've died.
Eri wouldn't have been saved.
But didn't they say they were going to try an get there licences during the camp?so they wouldn't have that ark

As for deku disappeance id say class 1-A will lose the drive that most of them developed, and it would take em longer to grow. But i do believe some of them will still grow. But that also depends on situations cause they def wouldn't be as active as before nor have the real life experiences they be getting. They would constantly be pushed to side to observe
You forgot the parts where he inspired the rest of the class. It’s most likely that the students wouldn’t be as motivated and strong because they couldn’t see someone who was willing to fight. So its good that they didn’t have to go through a lot, but thats what made them so strong, it was because went through the fighting is the USJ, or at the camp.
Deku would just be a normal person in this timeline and great video

I think mirio would be able to use 60%, 75% for a time if he focuses like deku does.
I truly believe that if mirio were to get OFA, that he would be able to use 100% of it after using it for the first time. Mirio's quirk allows things to go through him, so if mirio activates OFA in his permeable state the drawbacks wouldn't effect him.

If Deku wouldn't have appeared Mirio would've gotten one for all and would've lost it in the fight with overhaul because he erased his quirk.

So I've actually been working on a Villain Deku timeline story similar to the timeline you've set out here, plus thanks to recent Vigilantes Chapters I've figured out how it'll play out, it's also quite a bit darker than the canon timeline, not overly dark, just dark enough to push Izuku down the Villain path, basically it follows Izuku's journey from meeting All Might to the Forest Training Arc where he has his first run in with Class 1-A & 1-B, basically he becomes the Nine of this timeline, only with his own agenda, I'm currently trying to work out how the Shie Hassaikai Arc would play out.

I really wish they would of kept Deku quirkless and still make it into U.A. It would've made a great lesson that power isn't everything. For example they could've have him train under someone like Eraserhead or Edgeshot and make him into some kind of martial arts hero. That would've been a more interesting and inspiring anime to watch.
He also glossed over the fact that UA has other paths. He couldn't get into Hero course probably, but Support, Business or general are still open.
Perhaps AFO would meet Deku due to his depression about getting a quirk but instead AFO will grant him as many quirks as he want. AFO aim was to make Deku a spy of UA so he can kill All Might right off bet
I think he would give Deku a quirk he can't handle, with the intention of making him a spy, and succeeds, because he could just as easily take back the quirk he gave Deku.
I suppose deku would be inspired by stain and would join the league of villains and get a quirk from All for one he would basically hate all heroes and believes in stains philosophy
Deku's hero analyses could be published like books or he could probably be like an quirk specialized agent for the government or villains

I don't think mirio will be thinking of one for all the same way as deku would be thinking and will think of it as a poweeeer quirk. One for all full cowling is something that only deku has shown among all users if it. At least that's what shown up until now. Oh then there was bakugo too. But I guess he saw one for all like deku told him. So no deku no full cowling. No vestage world. So the other quirks lays dormant. Probably.

If Mirio were to be offered One for All i think he would not accept the offer. Mirio is invested in improving his own quirk and be one of the greats on his own power
He wants to save a lot of people, hence the name Le Million. He does improve his quirk. But given the chance to have another quirk to help him save more people, he would 100% say yes to that.
Even though Mirio rejected the offer from deku, I believe that if he were to be asked by All Might himself, he would accept OFA.

Pretty late to the party, but I only found this channel a few months back. With this idea, I can totally see things changing alot without Izuku present. Uraraka might not have made into UA as all her rescue points, the majority of her overall score, come from saving Izuku after he moved to save her. At best, maybe she made into class 1-B but that still means she's largely removed from the story since class 1-B is largely removed from the story.
I can't see Shinso making it into the hero course as Aizawa mentions that he didn't score a single villain point like Midoriya, but there is no mention of rescue points, so he's still going to General where he and Izuku can bond over thier shared desire to transfer and be heroes like they've always dreamed so in a way, it'll be a pretty shōnen for these two to prove hard work and dedication can beat natural talent and ability in their journey to achieve those dreams.
Todoroki's story remains with him only using his ice for much longer period of time till he's either forced to by a villain attack, by the teachers who realize he isn't going to do so on his own anytime soon.
If the League still attacks the USJ, things will go quite differently depending on which class they target as if it's Mirio's class, class 3-B...they'll be wiped out as even if each of them is only worth half one member of the big 3, that still means a class of nearly fully trained pros along with the successor to All Might on top of that, it'll be surprising if the Nomu's still around by the time All Might shows up.
If they attack class 1-A...things could easily turn out quite grim for class 1-A and UA as a whole as Uraraka played a big part in Iida managing to get out the USJ so without her, the odds of him doing that drop. Without Izuku present, if Mineta and Asui find themselves in the same spot, they'll dead as while Aizawa stopped Shigaraki from dusting Asui, that still leaves the Nomu to kill them through raw physical power. wasn't
So yeah....this would be the dark timeline oddly enough as I can't see UA still holding the festival after such a tragedy so maybe Iida's saved as while his bro is still attacked, without the internships, he has no way to travel to Hosu without someone finding it suspicious and stopping him.

If Mirio received OFA it would become even more powerful as a quirk in general, because in addition to super strenght that creates airpressure attacks now it would also have mirio's intangibility allowing for a devastating combination

I think Mirio's body would be strong enough to get a handle on OFA quickly, but he doesn't seem to be as quite built as All Might, so I imagine 100% would still hurt him somewhat. So starting at 50% and then working his way up to 100 during Year 2 would be cool.
