regardless of if you're a thiem fan or not, you have to admit thiem was a force to be reckoned with in 2019 and 2020, with one of the most hard hitting guys on tour. he's lacking the physical and mental capacities in some areas rn, but im not too worried, he's got the drive and ambition to win many more titles still
@@regulusarcturus Yeah mate just totally ignore him going to the French Open grand final (going through Novak in the process). Winning the most titles in the year (tied with Novak), ATP Finals runner-up, consistent enough results for him to be world number 4 (literally behind Rafa, Novak and Federer at that time). Some people only care about the slams, you clearly being one of them.
Sadly enough, he'd sacrificed himself way too much to overcome Big3guys. He won USOPEN once, but that's all. I'm afraid he's highly likely to follow in the footsteps of Del Potro. Very unfortunate of him ㆍㆍㆍ
Thiem is definitely a genuinely nice guy. If even he doesn't win any more GS, the tennis world is lucky to have him in it. Welcome back, Dominic. Stay a while this time tokay.
Dominic is inspirational --look how much he anguished over his wrist, the challenge of wanting to heal, yet not re injure to end a career and play at his best. The trajectories of tennis players these days are unpredictable (Nadal, Goffin, Fritz) similar to the world rn and what a better place the world is with Dominic here. Friend to all. He is honest and real such a true athlete. Also such an activist role model who cares about our Earth. He uses his platform to inform us. I love his Adidas “play for Oceans”. All my respect and support.
Dominic is humble and authentic with great work ethics. He wants to rebuild and play again. Lots of Love and Respect! Off the court he is a great model sharing information about our planet Earth crisis and we all can help and act now. Love his “Play for the Ocean” adidas shirt. Welcome back and here’s to many more years!
So happy my boy is back on tour. With positivity, patience and determination he will get to the top of the rankings in no time. We are all with you Domi 🥰 🥰
Hope he gets ASAP back on top form, he was one of those players who make you stand up from your couch when they have their day. So excited to see him back, even more proud of seeing how he is trying without hesitating until he regains his level.
Dominic Thiem is the most fearless tennis player , he hits rockets and missiles like no other , as a tennis fan , he has got to be the most enjoyable player to watch , he doesn't hold back even if its tiebreak of the last set in the match and its 5-5 ! if he gets a chance he will hit a winner , and goodness me i can't love anything more other than his backhand down the line ! what a beautiful shot he has ..
Nice words mate, totally agree, Thiem reminds me a little of Edberg when tennis becomes art , long way but I hope he will find his 2020 form again anyhow
Thiem is a warrior. Wrist injury are maybe the worst injuries for a tennis player. It’s good to see you back, It’s time to get some wins brotha, lets go.
Hi Thiem, I have watched your recent game…..press on…I have been wanting and praying that you will Win….God will make you strong again and be at your best. Thank you for giving us an update. You’re a nice guy. Take care.
Domi is not just a great player, but a great person who is very humble, down to earth and always brightens us with his lovely, infectious smile. I had followed his recovery process and it was tough, but Domi with his perseverance managed to overcome this first major injury of his career. While he will likely have to grind through the ATP Challenger Tour in the near future to rebuild his ranking, he’s looking hopefully on the right track. Just needs some matches, and hopefully a few wins soon. I feel he’s got more title wins to come, especially once his old level comes back. The tennis world has missed this bundle of sunshine! ☀️☺️🧡
That the players give each other positve energy, nice words and support each other is such a great thing to see. You @ATP Tour should show more that Tennis is not just a big Ego-Show. :)
I fell in love with Thiem after watching many videos, whichever his interview or other players mentioning him in an interview. Wish him all the best in overcoming this downtime and creating a new peak shortly.
He needs a lot of time. Look at Goffin, he was awful after his return and now slowly getting back to his former level. Roland Garros will be too soon for Thiem.
You are probably right, but the way tennis is structured, he needs wins to get more matches. Maybe he should a couple of challengers to get some match experience. Thiem seems to be very much a rhythm player, the opposite of Nadal or Federer, who can hit a fairly high level after a long period without match play.
@@Ielay_ Really ? In my opinion he should not play on grass and Wimbledon, comes to early and not good surface after his long injury, the ranking is anyway terrible now, wonder why he does not get a protected ATP ranking ?
@@WONGLER He has 9 protected rankings, he used 2 so far (for Madrid and Rome). Thiem will play two clay Challenger in June in Italy before Wimbledon (using PR, but maybe he will skip grass). Afterwards he will be back on clay again.
