Hi Henry I love this it’s sound beautiful, I am going to try this, I’ve been trying to find an easy way to crochet sweaters. Because I am blind, so I’m looking for something easy here. I hope you would do more tutorials like this.
This sweater is awesome! I love how quick and easy it's coming together, the DC chain DC pattern is super easy to follow and looks super nice. I whipped up the torso in just a few hours and started working on my first sleeve! I'm gonna recommend this video to any beginners I know because it's really simple, a good way to use up old yarn and looks super cute! Thx for the tutorial
Word of advice for anyone making this - make sure you keep checking as you go that you've done the chain 1 in between each double crochet. I've missed a few and had to go back (I also missed some that are too far back, but luckily they don't really notice 😅)

I love the bright colours and the B & W part reminds me of piano keys. If I ever make a sweater for my music loving friend, I might make piano keys for near the hem. I'm also wondering if I can incorporate some music notes going up the body... I actually bought him a blue knitted piano key sweater 35 years ago, which deteriorated ages ago, so maybe it's time he got a new one.
