For any beginners watching this just know. I've been crocheting for 5 years and I'm sitting here in tears because I cant figure out how to not get it to curl in😭

guys if u want to make it a perfect squere u should make the first two line as he said while finishin up the patch and then the third line of squeres edge should be triple crochet and do 2 lines of triple crochet and do one more line of half double crochet and for the last line do triple crochet. ur welcome :)
so u should have 6 lines out of flower and leaves.

for those who are confused as to how to make the strap here an alternative option.
depending on how wide u want ur strap to be, chain to that amt. i used chain 7 then hdc in the 2 loop then hdc all the way once done with the row chain 1 then hdc in the 1 chain then continue all the way(i hope this was helpful)

Try out the rectangle front post it can be worked with scrap yarns of different colors. And on handles of the bag I attach too the bag as I go too strengthened it then sew the last end. I'm going too make a bag for the 4th of July in red,White & blue.

I recommend that you flip your video upside-down because following along to what your hands are doing is hard when it is from the opposite perspective. I'm not sure if that made sense.

Between each posts of the inner circle you find a double loop at the out end. Through that double loop you go with you hook building 12 petal leaves 🥰

I‘ve used the schachenmeyer yarn called bravo! It‘s a dk light worsted yarn. It works with a 4 or 5mm hook :) I’ve used a 5mm hook :)

I have heard that acrylic yarn stretches and shouldn't be used for crocheting bags, apparently it's best to use a mix if using acrylic.

Do you have any advice for the flower part? My patch is round but not flat, it’s curving on the sized and it’s hard to lay it flat.
