  • Note that this video is not sponsored by Arturia, I just really like the MicroFreak and MiniFreak synths.
This is a similar setup to the previous video but here is joined by the MiniFreak as well.
It starts off with a simple pattern on the right (Stellar) MicroFreak which is then joined by the MiniFreak that plays a very slow sequence of notes. It uses a patch from the Stellar edition collection of patches that were available to download after I registered the synth. I’m not sure if the regular MiniFreak has access to them as well but it’s a good patch.
The left (original) MicroFreak then joins in with an arpeggio pattern that I manually tweak with the Spice and Dice feature.
Effects wise, the MiniFreak is using its own delay and reverb and the MicroFreaks are going into a Zoom MS-70CDR - one in each side L/R - which is then sent to a PolyMoon delay and Specular Tempus reverb. The reverb uses the Voices algorithm.
The MicroFreaks also pass through the Red Panda Tensor to add some additional texture.
I switch in a delay part way through on the Zoom MS70 which you mostly notice on the Left MicroFreak as that is doing the rhythmic stuff.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have about this or any other video in the comments below.
Although Clive the Cat wasn’t here to see, I have tried to keep my last two videos under 6mins which will please him no end.

Yes I’ve definitely used that a lot previously. I do like the extra sauce the Voices algorithm adds though. Thanks for commenting - much appreciated!
