Literally TODAY they dropped an update featuring night hunting for coyotes (with green or red lights) new coyote furs, new places in the lodge for them, animations, and a packing mechanic! I'll likely be checking that out for a video soon!
That looks great! What this dev just needs is someone to help with the animations (the walking one hurt my soul, ouch), and the decision to not even try going realistic in textures and the like really helps the longevity of the game (not outdated immediately).
I actually purchased this for myself MID 24hr stream from just hearing your review/opinion on the game lol I'm glad to see and hear a little more about it because I definitely have struggled to grasp everything in the game from my so far like 2-ish hour attempt (on low sleep so probably my fault)
Speaking of games from 20 plus years ago that have little features that we like that don't appear in modern games. Hunting unlimited 3 had a unique zeroing system that was seemingly MOA based. Every rifle or cartridge had its own unique trajectory. Some were similar but I don't think any of them lined up exactly. If you knew your dope, you could zero to render wherever that was. The bullet cam was kind of interesting. You could exploit it a little bit for scouting... Brain shots dropped animals instead of a center of the brain hit where an animal runs for 50 yards like in call of the wild... Everything was based on random spawns but it seems like the map population dropped off after a while for some reason. Never figured that out. Only three animals harvested were claimable per little session. Oh yeah, and you could shoot elephants because the stupidity of not allowing people to play a game where they can do things you can't do in real life hadn't seemed to come around yet. We need more games that are detailed but not horrendously complicated and half broken because of a fundamental misunderstanding of how to apply animal behavior and gun stuff to a video game. Weapon balance is not a thing in real life. It's just not. Some are better than others at almost everything, that's just how it is.
The art style honestly doesn't bother me, it's kind of nostalgic for the games I played as a kid. It just needs some graphic design improvements with the UI and such. But mechanically it's very impressive
I love it. The fan on my ps4 broke over a year ago and my computer runs classic but not cotw or the angler and this game seems like a great new experience that ill actually be able to enjoy
After watching your video i ended up buying the game. So far ive killed one deer but its actually more enjoyable then i expected. Perfect to play when you just need a break from COTW😂
Yeah this game needs some work. But Give these game developers a couple thousand dollar budget, a few more people to add to the team, then LET. THEM. COOK!

Flinter i got my first leaderboard animal the other day in the hunter classic! 1568.7 Mallard. So happy you got me into the game
this looks amazing. this is the game the hunting genre needs
The antlers look so good 😩🖤 all those stickers etc…we need this in more games!! Great video dude! I need to get mine booted up and start playing!
Will you make a video on it?

I cant do the graphics and animations but the potential here is insane
This game looks so sick, I would love to see more vids!

COTW could really step up their game with all of these features and really bring back some of their player base. Really cool game

Imagine this with way of the hunter as the base game.

Gives me almost like deer hunter 2005 vibes
The quadbike made me laugh.
def the most true to life antlers for whitetail ive seen in a hunting game i believe
This game is sick! I want to play it so bad! Awesome video!
Can you get this on Nintendo switch or xbox
this game looks like a blast! is it just on pc?
good one flinter
How the heck are 20 year old hunting games (or in that style) more realistic than Call of the Wild, Hunting Simulator and Way of the Hunter?
Give these devs a AAA budget and let them cook
Ima check this game out. You should play this a few more times.
day 15 of asking flinter to make an all rare female lodge

Hello reader 🎉 Happy Saturday, hope you have a great day ❤, today your going to get your dream Buck on your hunt 😊
It is giving me xbox vibes. it reminds me of the times i was on the xbox 360 hunting for moose on alaskan adventure! Sweet video dude!
I got this game when it came out and it has come a good ways. Not a bad buy but you better be prepared to get into it. Not a pick up and play game.
Already love the game just got it
How many species are there??

Can you make a video of you playing the angler
He has plenty of videos of him doing that on live streams. Plus the angler is a dead game
What’s the game called
Is this pc only
Game name?
I wish it was on Xbox😢
This is an insane amount of detail for a game that looks like that. I'm gonna have to check this out
you should totally make a video on this game.
Sorry a UNICORN TINE why
