The songlist got started, they made it to "Spell", They knew she would bring it, so they would as well, The bassist checked strings, the drummer, his sticks Steve, the guitarist made sure of his picks. He swallowed a lump, then glanced at the band, as Joss started them off with a drop of her hand. Tearing into the strings, His fingers took flight, He knew right away that this could be his night. A few blues bars later, he handed it back, to Joss fucking Stone! He tightened his sack. She opened her mouth, the spell it was cast, Any doubt in his mind faded into the past. Though the song was a classic, her take was new, her mind-blowing vocal mixed jazz and the blues. Her magic unleashed, it enveloped the band. A jolt of energy shot through his hand. His solo erupted like fire from his strings, while an angel on earth, at the mic, did her thing. Barefoot she danced, Lord Above, she is fine! Musical orgasm at 2:29. As she caressed the stage floor with those trademark bare feet, the fortunate crowd at the show left their seats. A few verses later, the spell was broken, with her thanks to the crowd (danke sehr) softly spoken.
