i know right, you can absolutely love it or hate it, for me was a horrible experience in the 2nd half because i picked the plushie, but the atmosphere and ost are unforgettable 4 me
SH2 is the GOAT, but all of the main 4 have things they do best that are worth experiencing. It's good that you're taking a break, as 4 can wear you down a bit. Still worthwhile tho
I actually find SH3 more creepy than depressing or scary, I remember the first time jumping out of my seat because some areas of the map were so dark and the monsters would blend in, another thing I like is how Heather starts off confused and sad by Harry's death then goes on to accept that she's his daughter and she should enjoy her life.
I like how well Heather's design has aged. She still feels stylish and cool, but in a distinctly teenage way that somehow doesn't feel dated?

Again, a very comprehensive review, that, after over 20 years, explained to me the story connections of the first 4 games. No other reviewer managed to do that yet.
