That is an interesting point Mr. McCall raised that as the traditional doctrine and end of marriage is of giving of self and the way the prof also stated that it is a vocation of giving of self to a calling of a state of life as giving of self to God as a gift like that of the religious that make themselves a gift to God to make it to Heaven. So that when we give we truly receive. I think when you can see the Holy Sacrifice as what it is... Christ sacrificed Himself as a gift to the Father for us. Thus we are able to give ourselves with Him in the Holy Mass. Whether state we can see the traditional apostolic Mass that presents the heart of Christ through the Priest leading us and the prayers that draw from the visible to the invisible reality that we need to be martyrs of Love like the Priest and thus Like Christ. Making ourselves a gift to the Holy Trinity.
Approximate 29:00 mark... I think one reason that the percentages are so low among TLM attendees, is that they want and believe in all of the teachings and don't want to risk attending NO because you can't count on orthodoxy and it's so watered down.
Sadly the case. Japan’s population peaked in 2008 and has been declining since. Europe has the same problem of a native birth rate well below replacement rate, but they augment with tons of immigration, which brings its own problems. Eventually their social services and entitlements will run out or to a trickle and economies stagnate as laborers can only support so many retirees plus higher and higher taxes taking away their money. It’s actually a catastrophic problem.
Fabulous interview.
Please tell us what the 4 or 5 books you recommend to give to newly married people, it would be so helpful to know!
It's almost as if the Catholic Church knew exactly what it was teaching; as though she were guided by some Higher Power

yes the future of japan is pretty much finished. very few babies. this is why no one should ever be anti-baby (ie, pro-abortion)

Our Lady of La Salette France, 1846, chastised priests for being worldly, vain, greedy and irreverent in saying Mass.
