I found this at my local hobby shop for 189 usd and decided to get it, no regrets. I found the price reasonable for its size and the fact that it’s an evangelion figure, which have a history of being rather overpriced! I really do hope they come out with at least units 00 and 02 so I can have the main trio. Thank you for the video! Keep up the good work!
I'd like to see Unit 00, Unit 08, and unit 13, I know unit 02 is coming out soon. Even for the Kaiyodo Mega line 45cm tall I would like them to complete the set rather than just doing unit 01.
Thanks! ThreeZero makes very high quality toys, I recommend them. I considered the robo-dou, but decided to cancel mainly because I wasn't a fan of the proportions of the head(s) in that version. I was looking for something closer to the movie proportions. But I am considering the Robo Dou Eva-02 and Patlabors.

Threezero is great I definitely support them, but for you, if you have to pick one, I recommend Dynaction, big size + highly posable is a rare combination.

How is the plastic quality compared to Hasbro? And wich one is better. Threezero or Dynaction? If you have the Threezero one, could you maybe do a comparison between those two?
Btw Dynaction is about twice the size of 3zero. So not much was considered there for me. Many Eva at 3zero size. But 3zero toys are great, all the 3Zero/3A I have are perfect.the only small complaint is the paint smell but most people don’t care., Hasbro are good and are more durable. Bandai quality are slightly higher in general but are more delicate in general (break easier if not careful)

Great review! I just ordered one last night after watching this review and a couple of other ones. Such a great price for such a huge and poseable Eva, I would expect something as big as this and from bandai to cost $300+. Keep up the great work bud!
it has some plastic sprue here and their, plastic and size reminds me of mega-size gundam but much more poseable, the mouth area and especially the tongue could use some paint but the rest of the plastic looks pretty good
It's good. I have the second version, the one with the spear, love it. But the Threezero Evangelion is the superior toy, in my opinion. It's got a lot of diecast parts and every bit as poseable as the robot damashii figure. So far, if i were to rank all the Evangelion toys out in the market, i rank the Threezero Evangelion as #1, Dynaction as #2, Soul Spec as #3, Metal Build as #4 (it's great, but way too overpriced for something that is not even anime accurate), Robot Damashii #5, and just missing the top 5 is the Soul of Chogokin at #6.
do you think the hips are strong enough to support the whole upper body weight ?? From my metal build experiences, the diecast joints especially the hips and the ankle joints have the tendency to lose overtime
I’ll let you know the exact answer when I build my mengs…someone asked the same answer a while back but I haven’t open any of the Mengs…Exterior wise, Dynaction has better proportions and has die cast metal parts are cool to the touch and has more weight. I bet the Dynaction is sturdier as well. Since Meng Eva are their first mecha model. Meng Eva ver 1.0 and 1.5 has LED lights though.

No poseable hands :/ I don't want to have 10 giant grabbers floating around. I also don't understand why there is a extra shoulder part instead of an extra hinge joingt.
@@gojira-animates-yt If the eva looks a bit more robotic because of the hands, but you can actually use them, it's a deal. I don't want a big dust catcher, I want to be able to use it properly maybe for stop-motions.
I didn't get an MB Eva-01 so I cannot comment accurately on that end. But I personally think they are very different, and I would still try to get an MB Eva 01 in the future if there's a good opportunity. But I do like the dynaction very much for it's movie design and about twice the size of the MB. Which was something I was looking for, I would describe it as a really big Metal Robot Damashi.
On mine there were nub marks and paint missing that's not something you want to see for a 200 dollar figure I'm trying to see if blue fin could maybe do something for me
Dynaction is slightly bigger and has a scale figure and more posable, made to be played with. Medicom does have rubber for the joints, and the entry plug gimmick.
Medicom's faux leather looks good but is a pain to deal with. My unit 13 had like half of them peeling off after a few years, and one of the back armor is totally detached because of the shedding skin.

@@dolyharianto yeah Koto's Evas are quite good, and accurate to the movies. RGs are great, but Kotos are good too considering they are kind of old.

Yeah definitely check with them. I got a nub mark at the base of the neck that’s about it. I just put a dot of paint over it.

I think the Dynaction can be posed and played around a bit better RAH is a bit more precious and delicate. Dynaction is bit larger.
