hey joe, nice tutorial. i want to know, why you set "margin, auto" to hero_container. you could have set the flex, centre to the parent (hero_component).
@@Finsweet thanks finsweet for clarification. I've received the notification while i was watching the harshit's Shopify rebuild with the client first. Man, learning a lot from this channel's content ❤️
For some reason the MAX W 64 REM aint doing anything. Still take the screen side to side. Am i missing something here. I'm using a laptop HP.... Should I reduce the REM to 44 maybe
Yes, maybe your screen is not large enough for this. You can always try lower values to see if the max-width value works. Also try zooming out in your browser to see more of your Designer UI
@@Finsweet yeah, I figured that out few minutes later when I saw the screen in the video. I just changed the REM and later I changed my screen size too. Maybe I should have done it earlier 😅. Thanks for your response mate. I'm awesome stuff I really appreciate it. It's really good material

Learning Webflow takes at least weeks if you have a background in Web Development and months if you don't, these videos "Learn Webflow in 15min" or "Learn Webflow in 1 hour" to me are clickbaits and are bad for Webflow, not the video itself but the title that is misleading.
Hey Frank, appreciate your comment, but I have to disagree with you. Yes, our goal is to get clicks so we can share our content with as many people as possible, but this is not the only goal for this video. Beginner education is important and this video may be a key reason someone continues using Webflow. The right education can be the difference between a user bouncing from Webflow Designer in minutes or being a 5+ year Webflow user. Webflow Designer is CHALLENGING for a new user. I know many people open Webflow, click around, and leave...because it's not as easy as they thought it was. We think this video can help users navigate the most important panels of Webflow Designer and create something valuable after 15 minutes of tutorialing. And that's the key goal-We made this video to bring people from 'zero knowledge' to 'some knowledge and a drive to learn more.' Know that we did not make a statement like "Become an experienced Webflow user in 15 minutes" or "Learn everything about Webflow in 15 minutes." We called this video "Learn Webflow in 15 minutes" because that's what we're doing exactly.... learning! Nobody learns everything about a platform in 15 minutes, and we're certainly not making that statement. The closing of the video talks about how this is the beginning and there's so much more to learn. Please don't hesitate to share thoughts like this in the future. I hope this answer gives you a good understanding of why we posted this video.
I would love to see Wized tutorials by Joe! That would be great 👍
Thanks Joe, been using Webflow for a while now and even though this is a beginner tutorial I still learn't how to make a unitless size using dash.
That's great to hear Juan. Happy unitless dashing!!
Thank you Joe.
Hi Joe and finsweet , it will be a serie of mini tutorial each week with a playlist for new video? Or its just a quick présentation about webflow ?
We're posting one more beginner tutorial! Working on it now! We'll see how these two do. If they both perform well, we'll likely do more!
Love this one! I would like to know, can we use Angular 2+ in the webflow?
hey joe, nice tutorial.

Yes, that other implementation method can give the same visual outcome. I like using the margin-auto when I have max-width set on an element.
