- Grace was in absolute top form with her audience completely captivated. She slayed a Harry Nilsson cover ("One") and treated the Brooklyn crowd to ten originals, including SIX unreleased numbers (we would start chanting "E.P." but at this point maybe we could scream "L.P.").
She is a superstar.

wow! Grace is hitting her stride with her band and her new wave of performing. Rocker Grace is 🔥. Love her renditions of her old and the way she subtly plays with varying her new songs. Really LOVE her love and tribute to classic rock with her cover of One. She absolutely killed it!!! Rock on Grace!!!
BTW, I am one of your cusping at 70 y.o. fans grateful to finally have music I can listen to without getting tired and bored… If you know what I mean 😂
I agree with you completely. I stopped listening to music in the 90’ and Grace is the only artist I really follow and listen to her music.
I agree with you; she is reinventing some of her great songs written snd sung when she was really young but now with this band and this new interpretation they are even better. So great!
Thank you to Jacky Carpenter for taking the time to record this and to FANderWaal News for the upload. It is always amazing to see Grace back in her element. She looks happy and sounds great. Her natural charisma really shines through. I have seen David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Floor Jansen and other performers with otherworldly stage presence, and Grace can certainly hold her own. Looking forward to what comes next.

GRACE VANDERWAAL , she's cutting more teeth and paying more dues, she is the most original singer songwriter today, she put so much music in her library that's already packed to the gills and here GRACE is killing it once again, reinventing her self for the umpteenth time and gettinging better and better, if that is even possible, I love love love this incredible artist, that voice can't be reproduced by any one period, she is the 21st century it girl an icon in the most positive way, i'm done! There is no one else I would rather listen to, I don't listen to radio, it's a joke, how can they possibly ignore such a talented artist as Grace, I started this Grace ride 8 years ago and it's only getting better!!!!!!!!!

That was flipping fantastic! She has so many great songs! They already sound like classics. As good as she’s done things in the past this is the best I’ve seen her do anything. I wonder how many people are there. How good that was should be just Buzzin all around town. Something tells me these little concerts are gonna be the beginnings of something that grows big big big. I mean, how could you be there and not be talking all about it. Anyway, I feel really excited right now for her. There’s no way It can’t just grow way up from here. She’s at the very least as good as anybody out there (more like much better than many) I love the song One, always have, and she performed it perfect. But her originals are the cream. The fact that she writes her own makes her so authentic. And her songwriting is just out of this world. Her songs are all different, so catchy, so clever, the melodies the lyrics. And there’s so many more songs. I absolutely love when she introduces them saying ‘when I wrote this one’. Man, oh man, I’ve got a feeling folks…. Watch out world!

She has said in the past she doesn't revisit old songs. I think she has read enough positive comments from us about her 2020/21 songs that she started taking them serious and is now recording them.
The problem with allowing a large volume of songs to build up is when you finally do an album there will be too many hits on one album. That way instead of making 10 million on each release over the last 3 years which could get you 100 million in that time you end up just making 10 million or so on one album and one single.
June is a flat out kick @$$ hit .
That's the real Grace, full of grace, full of soul, the true artist that creates every time she performs and is always ready to share her gits. If I was living in New York, I would be at every concert or appearances she does. I can't wait for Grace to find a producer that will understand her great gifts and believe in her. With the genius she has, everybody should know Grace VanderWall. Great concert, the band is getting better all the time, I'm sure it's easy to work with Grace. Thanks for sharing with us, and to the lucky person that made the video.
She has definitely worked with some producers that understand and greatly appreciate her talents.
@@Jeff_674 i know, but I’m thinking of Columbia’s who are supposed to take care of her, like the EP she recorded earlier this year which is still not out yet. Can’t wait for that contact to end, so she she find somebody that will really promote Grace.

Sound engineer, the Artist mic volume should ALWAYS take priority.
The mic volume is perfectly fine. Sounds great in person. This is a cellphone recording, though, so it's easily overpowered by the instruments

No, it wouldn't have. No fan recorded concert footage of Grace ever came anywhere near a million views. Not even professionally recorded concert footage of her ever broke a million.
. I'm pretty sure 90% of young people listen to what ever the algorithm sends them .
The most views we have on a fan recorded live performance is 249K from the Spotify sponsored small venue show in Tokyo in 2017

When she started singing One the chill bumps hit so hard. Three Dog Night was the first concert I saw, the year 1972 I was 15 and it was one of my favorites of the more than 40 chart toppers they produced. She did an awesome version as she always does on her covers!! Also I absolutely love that dress, it’s so her! Thank you for this video, made this old rockers night!!! 🫶🏼🙏

Grace's sense of rhythm is enhanced by her movements. Lots of singers have a somewhat clunky presentation, yet Grace seems to flow into the song and have it take her over. Given how extraordinary her vocal talents are, it's equally astounding to have her dancing ability fly in that same orbit.
Grace sings with every cell of her body… she’s a full body transmitter.
It’s why her music is so emotionally impactful. She sings through her body to ours…
Think that maybe one of the reasons Francis Ford Coppola hired her for the role of a singer in Megalopolis who becomes one of the love interests of Adam Driver.

(We do not know when the release will be. She said that she has done the studio recordings. Of course the release date will depend on the advice of her record label. Also, the director of her next movie, Francis Ford Coppola, says it will come to theatres within months. Oh how I wish Sam Borgman could come along and work some audio magic on this performance. She is truly spectacular. Wish I could hear it better but I'm lucky enough to be able to 'hear' the words and fill in a lot of blanks. At first I was mostly frustrated with the terrible quality, Now I'm mostly grateful to be able to fill in the blanks.
Why are so many pressuring "albums" ? They are no longer needed. Back in the day artists had only a few ways to get their work to the people. They "HAD" to have enough songs to fill an album. We got a lot of crappy album filler songs. The day of the "singles" is here.
I didn't see any filler songs on Perfectly Imperfect, Just The Beginning ,or letters Vol . 1. The only reason labels push singles is because they make more money . An artist work is more than just the big popular songs .
I could go see Grace sing nothing but new unreleased songs at a show and love it .

You need to check you math, this woman was 19 at the time of this concert (she is now 20).
