I started watching this with a blasé attitude as I worked on other things, then... as the video progressed, I kept saying to myself "whoa-whoa-whoa... what did he just do?". I kept doing that throughout the video. Nicely done -- will be forwarding this to several people I know, click like, and subscribe!
This is fantastic!! Thank you! I'm a long-time Apple Notes user, and these ideas got me creatively reimagining how I use it!! Great pacing and flow - you are a natural teacher!
I love this video. I will take every shortcut for Notes, and create a single button press action in streamdeck mobile for each shortcut. Thanks for making this video.
Always good tips , appreciate your take on Apple notes. Will share some of the few ways I do to manage my ( second Brain ) with you as soon as I can. Keep up the good work please. Not many has this minimalist take on the best notes app I know.
Great channel - Do you know if with Apple Notes you can Automate (Automator) or use a Shortcut to change font/ colour size to Notes on a Mac (like you can when using 'Cmd T')?
@Patrick-NP I would use it for every Note I create on my Mac. It makes reading much easier on my iPhone and iPad. I currently do it manually i.e CmdT... but it's 2025 and there should be a way to automate it? Do you know if it would be possible with 'Automator' or maybe 'Keyboard Maestro'?
I know, frustrating. I don't think Automator can do that. A macro recorder such as keyboard maestro might be able to do it, but I'm not sure. Have you tried copying and pasting font styles? It might be a workaround if you use just a few styles repeatedly on the same note.
@Patrick-NP Thanks Patrick, yes I currently copy/ paste font styles which is the quickest way but it's still clunky. It surprises me that Apple is still so restrictive with notes, especially as fonts and styles global settings would be so easy to do? And none of this is possible at all on the iPad and iPhone as they are even more restrictive.
Hi Again, I hope that you can help my question. When I use my iPad and type fn+q the quick note is shown but hidden in the side. Like a small arrow in the right side of the window , do you know how can I make it shown directly , without taking the mouse and try to show it ? Thanks in advance !
Click the arrow to open the QuickNote window and then click the word “Done” in the upper left corner of the window to close the QuickNote window. The next time you hit fn+q it should open as expected.
@@HaydarAlThwaini Sorry, I should have been more clear. The same arrow you mention in your question “like a small arrow in the right side of the window…”
@@bpiedfort Thanks so much for your answer . The problems is solved temporary , when I do your suggestion. It means that the window appears after I click on the arrow of the quick note window. But when I restart my iPad or restart the App, the windows is hidden again. I don’t know if anyone who have an iPad can recognize it. Thanks all for trying to help . 🙏🏼
I particularly liked that you showed the features of linking notes using the >> feature. It's been a much needed feature shortcut.
indeed! Hopefully Apple will build on that in future releases.. 👍

I think that was the right solution - @HaydarAlThwaini let us know if it fixed the problem :)
