need OJ and lime juice to marinade it bruh.

The only place I can find them near me is either the local butcher or sams club.
Doesn’t help at all.
Might have had sugar in your seasoning or your coals were to close (hence all the burning)

@miketheike1999 Red and dark mahogany is good, large patches of black char is not.
It wasn't burned. A little char is awesome
