The cows are meticulously fed and cared for. Their diet is controlled to produce optimum meat. The fat literally melts in your mouth when you eat it.
My dad used to be a butcher and said that you’re paying for the marbling. He said that the cow is massaged daily and it’s young. But it’s mostly the marbling that makes it so good

Now, if it was actually tri-tip like he says towards the end (which the steak he shows is NOT a full tri-tip), then it may have been cut from a tri-tip and the entire piece of meat may have been $500-$600, but there would also be more than what was shown.
