I love the subtle differences between the themes. - The first is eerie and bombastic, helping drive home the magnitude of the big reveal. The stringed elements showcase John's flair for the dramatic and his personal touch. - The second starts the same, but turns dark and malicious, slowing the difference between John and Amanda. - The third is abridged, as if John is trying to get out one last declaration before he dies. - The fourth is close to the first, but with more bass and less of the stringed elements, foreshadowing Hoffman's more utilitarian nature. - The fifth serves to drive home Strahm's doom, with the bass notes at the start like death's footsteps. Chaotic background noise grows louder and louder, showing Strahm's panic increase until it all ends. - The sixth represents a dramatic reversal. Jill is in control, and Hoffman is in the trap, so the music is off key. He desperately tries to free himself, and the music intensifies as the timer ticks down. Then, when he frees himself at the very end, the music shifts back to the normal arrangement, but with even more of a breakdown than usual. He's back in control, and he wants revenge. - The seventh is Gordon's theme. The mechanical elements are his surgical tools, always there in the background, but now front and center. Hoffman's theme tries to break through, but to no avail. His game is over. - The eighth is Logan's theme. The old strings are in full force, but there's much more creeping dread. Logan has orchestrated Halloran's demise, and now he explains it piece by piece. - Nine is Schenk's theme. It's mostly what we know, except for the breakdown in the middle. He's taken John's legacy and made it his own. - The tenth is by far the most sinister, reflecting the true depths of wickedness of Cecelia and Parker, now caught in their own trap just when they thought they had won.
Hello Zepp - the original, the backbone for most of the other versions Hello Eric - the first variation and honestly the secondary backbone for other Zepps with how often the new elements from this theme get reused The Final Test - Zepp Lite pretty much, it doesn't linger, just gets straight to the point Let Go - Introduces more elements that became staple to most of the future themes. Iterates the climactic part of the theme and features a sort of post ending Zepp 5 - A variation of Let Go that ends like normal. Zepp 6 - the most different version of Hello Zepp at this point. The segments of this track get reused a lot from here on out. This theme can be split into two distinct segments, the first part which is has the unique segments of the track, and the second part which is basically a Hello Eric lite. The Final Zepp - another Hello Zepp lite Zepp 8 - a remix of Zepp 6, consisting mostly of variations of the segments from the first part of Zepp 6 Zepp 9 - basically a remaster of Hello Zepp, but it still has its own uniqe segment Zepp X + Post X - It's like what if we gave Hello Zepp and Zepp 6 equal custody of the track. imo a better variation than Zepp 8, but it requires Post X in order to conclude properly.
True. Zepp X is a extended (full zepp version) of Zepp Eight Mix 3 or also called alternate. You can check it out. Charlie 1:1 reused zepp8 mix3 for zepp X and also most parts from zepp eight. Zepp X is basically zepp Eight 2.0 with tempo and some new percussion elements
Zepp 8 will always be my favourite since it was the first Saw movie i watched. I started catching on with the franchise in late 2016/early 2017 so this will always have a special place in my heart.
Zepp 7 was first saw I saw and only 1 I watched for like 15 years cos a mate of mine lent me it on dvd then sort of forgot bout them, subsisted on hostel films which tarantino tried to leech credit for then finally gave them a chance bout a year ago wow I was missing out
My Ranking: 10. Zepp Nine - Exactly like the Original Zepp, but upgraded. 9. Final Test - Not a bad Zepp, as for me, for the perfect ending of the trilogy, but I like Zepp five more) 8. Hello Zepp - You can insult me and kick me in the ass, but I fell in love with other versions of the original Zepp than the Original itself 7. The Final Zepp - It is higher because of the ending of the Saw 7. Although, I like this variation of "Hello Zepp" more than the similar Zepp Nine, Final Test. 6. Zepp Five - It's iterative, the same as the Final Test, but it's cooler because of Hoffman's hidden theme inside the score. Well, it is ideal for the end of the Saw 5 5. Zepp Eight - It repeats the elements of the Zepp Six with some changes and the addition of elements of the original. Overall, not bad. 4. Zepp Ten - As I said in the comments under another video, he is a mix of the Original Zepp and Zepp Eight. He is in fourth place because of the "Heroic" element and nostalgia for the past parts. 3. Let Go - I love him. He is so cool with his drum kits, which emphasize the Hoffman theme in the score, no, the drummers rather decorate it. And wind instruments showing Hoffman's further theme appear here. They are very cool, especially when Mark appears on the screen at this moment. 2. Hello Eric - This Zepp has been my favorite for a long time. It was with Hello Eric that the fragments that can be heard in other Zepp's and scores began. It was a new melody mixed with elements of Hello Zepp, so this Zepp is in my heart. 1. Zepp Six - Obviously, he's on the first. This Zepp with new colors and elements that didn't exist before. Charlie coped with the task abruptly and combined the themes of William and Hoffman. They are organically mixed in this Zepp. Elements from previous Zepps also sound beautiful in this score.
Bro I also agree that hello zepp is one of the weakest of all zepps. I heard let go first and was a bit underwhelmed by the original. Almost every version is better than the og except maybe zepp 5 or final test
@@maksimustransformers2409 it's the trumpets, and the little whirring segment that plays when the tape says "you feel you're in control now don't you?", and the dramatic outro of it that gets me
I know it’s probably just that they decided to take Hello Zepp in a new direction after Saw 3 but a little thing I noticed was every Hello Zepp Hoffman was involved in, these climactic horns play during the end climax of the song (Note they do it in 8 so that pokes a hole in my thought.) 10:35 (Saw 4) 13:56 (Saw 5) 19:57 (Saw 6) 21:44 (Saw TFC) 36:52 (Saw X - Post Credit) I personally associate that part with Hoffman quite a bit, especially since they don’t use that bit in Zepp X but they do use it in the post credit when Hoffman appears. I really don't need to make a rank about the "Hello Zepp" themes, all of them are composed by Charlie Clouser, and together for me are the OG HORROR MOVIE THEME.
The one fucking horror theme that is not scary at all and you could vibe with all of them yet if play randomly will sent a chill down to anyone hear it.
Did anyone get here by hearing a remix of the Saw theme? Just me? I am extremely happy to get to hear the whole catalog of such an awesome theme. Thanks for putting this together so beautifully!
My ranking 10 - Hello Eric 9 - Final test 8 - Zepp Five 7 - The final zepp 6 - Let go 5 - Zepp Six 4 - Zepp Eight 3 - Zepp Nine 2 - Hello Zepp 1 - Zepp X
No doubt one best horror movie themes ever .and 6 9 are very nice themes the new 10 is ok plays we need more remixes like slower build ups more ticking a different tune with same instruments that builds you to main theme like twice or three times at end somewhere kickin in backgroundmybe also very faint creeping in while the new music there untill the end 3 times gets louder more basey then bam smashes in and gets you
My Ranking of the official hello zepps would be: 1. Let Go 2. Zepp Nine 3. Zepp X 4. Zepp Five 5. The Final Zepp 6. Zepp Six 7. Zepp eight 8. Hello Eric 9. Final Test 10. Hello Zepp I do love all of em. I loved zepp nine because the orignal wasn't that well mixed and you can tell it's old. I'm glad Charlie did remake it for the quality purpose. Let Go did a great job for inventing a big hello Zepp mixing Original Zepp with the Eric zepps. Zepp X was a pleasure for me. Great remake from zepp eight and also adding the zepp eight strings to the original zepp. Well the transitions to some segments do feel very abrupt but that fact kinda fades after re listening after some time.
My Ranking of the Themes: 10th: Zepp Nine - A recreation of the original Hello Zepp which was a disappointment considering how the trailer were portraying a new more dramatic zepp theme for this spin off it felt like they dripped the ball to incorporate that in the movie. Instead we have a mire remastered sounding Hello Zepp with some updated instruments added bass and new drum section replacing the sad melody. 9th: Hello Eric - A good new way of incorporating Hello Zepp inti the movie without being a carbon copy and having its own unique flare to it but can also be very slow and hold off on its epic new horn segments 8th: Zepp X - I feel like the first 2 minutes of this dominate the rest of it with how well the mixture of the zepp themes are together incorporating things like 8-bit sounds from Zepp Eoght, the heartbeat drum of Let Go, the devilish violas of Hello Zepp and much more as well as a new great string piece that serves as a more heroic melody that then plays into the sad melody of Zepp. But the rest of it just pales in comparison and feels like it is poorly mastered and mixed variants of Zepp Six and Zepp Eight with many score errors and bad cuts, the ending whilst I like, did make that whole segment fall flat though on proxy. (Post Credits X does have the better ending though and sounds much more dramatic than usuak which I love) 7th: Final Test - A very intensified version of Hello Zepp to indicate a climax with heavy hitting drums and a much more chaotic ending that I think is fantastic but its movie variants are better IMO and the track is way too short for my liking. 6th: Zepp Five - A more action oriented Zepp Theme that shortens the main melody and gets straight to the punch with a lot of drums, horns and choir action. I very much love this mix although it's so short that it's over before I can truly grasp it (movie wise understandable but on a score basis I wish it had more) also a much more eerie ending to a Zepp than usual. 5th: Let Go - A perfect remix of both Hello Zepp and Hello Eric mixed into one with elemnts and instruments of both being heard through out and with new stuff being added to make them blend seamlessly. Great for constant relistens. 4th: Hello Zepp - A classic in every right that plays in both perfect horror with its violas and choir, perfect tension with its build up dulcimers, strings and piano, and perfect emotions for its sad melody and ending. A perfect Horror theme song. 3rd: Zepp Eight - An amazing remix of Zepp Six that gives it a modern take without flat out being a one for one of Zepp Six (unlike Zepp Nine). The new variantions of instruments make this track sound like its telling a story one that seems to go way back that then gets dark and sinister with its middle sections and then picks up emotion as it approaches the end with the sad melody into a much dramatic Hello Zepp string and finally with an epic ending first utilizing the modern Zepp outros and then transitioning into the classic Zepp outro. 2nd: The Final Zepp - This truly did feel and sound like a Final Zepp Theme taking all the greatest elements of the Hello Zepp variants to make for an extremely dramatic conclusion that I wish was longer and I wish they didn't tack on that Jill Zepp/End Jill part at the end of it, ruins the flow of the ending. 1st: Zepp Six - An amazing original version of the Theme that utilizes darker and more dramatic strings to ensuate some tension. Upon its second Phase around 4 minutes in however it creates one of the best remixes of a song I've heard with Hello Zepp playing into the static saw blade chaos of Hello Eric's melody that balres back into a much more triumphant Hello Zepp ending and finally closing off with a dramatic string outro. Perfect piece and whilst I tend to skip the middle portion at times I just love the beginning 2 minutes and ending 2 minutes more than any other Zepp.
Actually the cuts aren't bad at Zepp X they are just so different from the other zepps which is unexpected. The mixing is great too it's just unexpected
1: Let Go more classic like and I like how upbeat it is 2:Final Zepp it feels like the final conclusion 3: Zepp six a different Zepp more darker 4: Zepp Five a shorter let go with a few new segments 5: Hello Zepp can’t beat the original 6: Hello Eric a bit overrated but it’s okay 7: Zepp Eight literally Zepp six but upbeat 8: Final Test was my original favorite but it’s just a mix of the original and let go 9: Zepp X good but not as good as the others imo 10: Post Credit X literally just the ending to Zepp six 11: Zepp Nine LITERALLY JUST THE ORIGINAL WITH DIFFERENT DRUMS
Here's my ranking: 1 - Hello Zepp (It's the OG. Simple but awesome. The only Zepp to have that insane part near the end) 2 - Zepp 6 (Awesome. Like I said in the comments of Zepp 6, it's epic as hell) 3 - Zepp X (Including Post Credit X. It gives us some new segments, whilst also bringing back old ones) 4 - Zepp 5 (This one goes pretty hard) 5- Zepp 9 (Same with this one) 6 - Final Test (and this one) 7 - Final Zepp (including the part played whilst the twist is explained. I think it's pretty good) 8 - Let Go (Zepp 5 but messier. It's okay) 9 - Zepp 8 (Hello Zepp and Zepp 6 but more orchestral. It's so high up because it's literally just Zepp 6. The ending's good though) 10 - Hello Eric (Apart from the haunting ending, its pretty meh. But I still listen to it from time to time)
My ranking: 1. Hello Zepp 2. Zepp X 3. Let Go 4. Zepp Five 5. Zepp Six 6. Zepp Eight 7. Zepp Nine 8. The Final Zepp 9. Final Test 10. Hello Eric I love all the versions, anyway 😍

I read through all of these while listening to each one and, wow, you are spot ON!
This gave me shivers. But i dont know. Cant get over part 3 theme.
I also noticed the sixth seemed to have a sense of fear, I think it might be Jill

I need those images for my wallpaper
Still listening to this shit and its GOOD. I`ve never heard of this such intense music, always makes goosebumps.
Zepp 8 is sounds like a prototype of Zepp X, change my mind
Nuh saw 6
Charlie built most of zepp 10 off of zepp 8 and zepp 4
All versions are great, but I feel like the first version truly captures the emotion of misery and menace.

No doubt one best horror movie themes ever .and 6 9 are very nice themes the new 10 is ok plays we need more remixes like slower build ups more ticking a different tune with same instruments that builds you to main theme like twice or three times at end somewhere kickin in backgroundmybe also very faint creeping in while the new music there untill the end 3 times gets louder more basey then bam smashes in and gets you
My Ranking of the official hello zepps would be:
1. Let Go
2. Zepp Nine
3. Zepp X
4. Zepp Five
5. The Final Zepp
6. Zepp Six
7. Zepp eight
8. Hello Eric
9. Final Test
10. Hello Zepp
I do love all of em. Well the transitions to some segments do feel very abrupt but that fact kinda fades after re listening after some time.
the first one is the best 😁

My Ranking of the Themes:
10th: Zepp Nine - A recreation of the original Hello Zepp which was a disappointment considering how the trailer were portraying a new more dramatic zepp theme for this spin off it felt like they dripped the ball to incorporate that in the movie. Instead we have a mire remastered sounding Hello Zepp with some updated instruments added bass and new drum section replacing the sad melody.
9th: Hello Eric - A good new way of incorporating Hello Zepp inti the movie without being a carbon copy and having its own unique flare to it but can also be very slow and hold off on its epic new horn segments
8th: Zepp X - I feel like the first 2 minutes of this dominate the rest of it with how well the mixture of the zepp themes are together incorporating things like 8-bit sounds from Zepp Eoght, the heartbeat drum of Let Go, the devilish violas of Hello Zepp and much more as well as a new great string piece that serves as a more heroic melody that then plays into the sad melody of Zepp. But the rest of it just pales in comparison and feels like it is poorly mastered and mixed variants of Zepp Six and Zepp Eight with many score errors and bad cuts, the ending whilst I like, did make that whole segment fall flat though on proxy. (Post Credits X does have the better ending though and sounds much more dramatic than usuak which I love)
7th: Final Test - A very intensified version of Hello Zepp to indicate a climax with heavy hitting drums and a much more chaotic ending that I think is fantastic but its movie variants are better IMO and the track is way too short for my liking.
Nice tier list gentleman, although I'd put Saw X higher
@@JRicardoTorres3752not to be mean but zepp X is boring but alr
Actually the cuts aren't bad at Zepp X they are just so different from the other zepps which is unexpected. The mixing is great too it's just unexpected
the ending to saw 2 hello eric gave me goose bumps
Horror movie
Ost : 🔥🔥🔥
Why does your Saw X have a variation? Its a different end of the original.
It's the same. He just added in the Post Credit X. Which is the end credits hello Zepp theme
1: Let Go more classic like and I like how upbeat it is
2:Final Zepp it feels like the final conclusion
3: Zepp six a different Zepp more darker
4: Zepp Five a shorter let go with a few new segments
5: Hello Zepp can’t beat the original
6: Hello Eric a bit overrated but it’s okay
7: Zepp Eight literally Zepp six but upbeat
8: Final Test was my original favorite but it’s just a mix of the original and let go
9: Zepp X good but not as good as the others imo
10: Post Credit X literally just the ending to Zepp six
11: Zepp Nine LITERALLY JUST THE ORIGINAL WITH DIFFERENT DRUMS
What about Zepp Eight?? :o
@@SawSoundtracks oh crap forgot to put it fixing it now
21:31 my fav sound
Here's my ranking:
1 - Hello Zepp (It's the OG. Simple but awesome. The only Zepp to have that insane part near the end)
2 - Zepp 6 (Awesome. Like I said in the comments of Zepp 6, it's epic as hell)
3 - Zepp X (Including Post Credit X. It gives us some new segments, whilst also bringing back old ones)
4 - Zepp 5 (This one goes pretty hard)
5- Zepp 9 (Same with this one)
6 - Final Test (and this one)
7 - Final Zepp (including the part played whilst the twist is explained. I think it's pretty good)
8 - Let Go (Zepp 5 but messier. It's okay)
9 - Zepp 8 (Hello Zepp and Zepp 6 but more orchestral. It's so high up because it's literally just Zepp 6. The ending's good though)
10 - Hello Eric (Apart from the haunting ending, its pretty meh. But I still listen to it from time to time)
Yess zepp x, 6 and 1 are the best
The insane part u declare on was also used in Final Test, Zepp Five, Let Go, Cut Necks
I like the one where it’s Zepp
So he doesn’t like hello Eric Final test and Let go got it
thank you for making this I come by everyday and I play it cause Zepp trak is my fav part of saw my fav zepp is still 6 but I also love 10
They started going downhill after 3 but wow saw x was the best of the lot.

The first one is the best 😁
You did good on this
Me encanta zepp five
13:17 my favourite part
I love saw .
I love the name for TFC. The final zepp because we all know this was not the final zeep
Zepp themes are like salmon to me. You really don't need to mess with it too much to get good results. That's why Zepp Nine is a top five for me.
I wonder how they will remix Zepp 11??
OG hello zepp with an extra drum
@@JRicardoTorres3752 Maybe even adding a synth note or two.
