@@brianbeach3024 Considering PRO being more aimed at a younget audience and usually trying to be a gateway into Trek, them tying into the Mars attacks from PIC was definitely not on my bingo card. If the show ended with just the Prodigy 7 continuing with their lives at the academy I woulda been fairly satisfied, but them actuality being affected by PIC's backstory events changed everything.
The cameos! The references! And the characters and relationships. The storyline. And Gillian the humpback whale! Prodigy series 2 is peak Trek, at least as satisfying as SNW or Picard series 3. Fantastic Star Trek storytelling in both seasons, with this last season being a very satisfying way to wrap up the main plot as we know it. That being said... We need season 3! I hope a 3rd season gets green lit imagine having them undergo the 5 year mission visiting unexplored space making first contact with some trainee cadets with them.

Animation actually gives more creative control to the writers beause the creative limitations are endless. For example. S2 was absolutely awesome! I rank it 12 out of 10 stars. :) There were a few slightly off character moments at times. But over all. Beyond excellent story telling.
Ah but those were um holos.
Just finished prodigy tonight took me 5 days to go through. I’ve been at home recuperating from a blood clot in my right leg so it’s been Comfort Food in a way for me. I absolutely LOVED it!! Prodigy is the only reason why I kept my Netflix subscription….
Necesitamos una temporada 3
Season 2 eclipsed being a kids show. I wasn’t sold season 1, but now I am all in. Holy cow.
Because of ownership BS, disappointed that there is no Ready Room season 2 episode, especially-spoiler-- due to the Wesley character being in several episodes.
Spreading it out over a few days, so I'll be back when I've finished. :)
YES I WANT A SEASON 3
Wow. Sean looks so much like Will Wheaton! Great cosplay😊.
2nd season Best season ever, we need ups and downs of Star Trek Prodigy, season 2
