Are you going to tune it also? With a mild tune you can gain 80-120 HP/TQ without down pipes. I tuned my 15 Golf R gained 80 HP/45 TQ. with Unitronic stage 1+, stage 2 with downpipe was 105/88! I think a medium tune will do just fine as you dont have a down pipe. Maybe do a supercharger upgrade? Peace out brother! Are you getting a C8? If so, Z06 again?

I just installed a Blue Attack air filter in my Corvette stingray Z51.It has a deeper sound. I didn't know it would give 10 extra horse power. 😳 I like it.
Great job Mike. The review on the TKO Attack Blue filter was very informative. Well done showing the before and after results. You went to a lot of trouble to show these results. We all appreciate your hard work !
As always great job, that filter sounds to be a great upgrade especially for the price, 10 horse is really great for it just being an air filter, Blue Fury is looking very clean like always. 👏 👍
Just got my 2016 Z06 DSOM A8, and gotta say I’ve loved watching your videos! Have been trying to figure out whether to go GM Performance intake (mostly for looks I guess) or the TKO. You’ve got me sold! The GM replacement filters are around $100, and they “suggest” changing them every 5000!!! Not doing car shows so don’t need the aesthetics really, just want some better breathing.
nice vibeo..i got my 19 zo6 with a manuel trans in october...the car is stoc other than a secondary cat delete monza x pipe..no tune...most put an afe on...im confussed!!!can you please give me some advice??thanks..

When you mentioned during your cool down period that in addition to the fans being used that there was Mother Nature at work blowing through the building, what was outside air temp? FWIW, my outside air temp as I type this comment is 28 degrees.🥶 2. I have to comment on how the front tie-downs on the dyno appeared to be up against the body. Hmmmm? Lastly, I'm absolutely interested in the Giveaway. Save the Wave.🙋🏼♂️
Peter Carey I’m glad you enjoyed it Peter. Yes, it was only about 65° outside so not hot at all but certainly not 28° either. 🥶 The tie-downs May have looked like they were touching, but they weren’t. Ok, then you need a C7 Peter😊
You really should dyno after you put some miles on the car. If the numbers are the same great . I have tried Haltech, AFE and a BMS drop in filter, after trying several in all 5 of my C7 Z06s, I found after the computer learns the filter the results were not as high as right after install? Currently the BMS Filter in my 19 Z06 for the money has been the best for the buck runs consistently 10.6xx at the track. I will try this attack Blue filter to compare. Keep up the great videos.

What a simple upgrade for such a "relatively" big gain! Unrelated to the filter, can you hear the supercharger on your car when just driving? Does it make a whine you can hear from inside the cabin? Great car and thanks for sharing.
Hello Mike, The info on the Air Filter was very informative. Suprised that a stand alone filter would provide that kind of return. Looking foward to the upcoming giveaway on that. I would use it my 2018 Carbon 65 Z06 coupe. Also just a note that my C8 is built, Yes it finally does exist. I have received a full VIN number and now am awaiting the call for that museum Delivery we had talked about in one of your last posts. When i get the details i will let you know how the time line and process is gonna work so you can pass it along to your subscribers. I look foward to the day and feel very fortunate to be able to have a C7 Z06 Carbon 65 and a Z51 High Wing C8 in the garage sitting next to each other. Worst thing will be trying to decide which to take for wht ever event i am going to. Keep up the good work and await info on the delivery of these new cars.

Was this your first time on the dyno with this Z? I have had all of mine on a dyno lowest in summer heat/humidity here in Fla was 552rwhp my highest number was 577rwhp. All dynos are somewhat different. Check Corvette forum several dyno numbers for drop in and cai kits. A lot of good gains with BMS drop in. I’m ordering this Attack filter been wanting to try for a while. I never use the oiled filters.
Just traded up my 2019 Stingray to 2019 Z06, can’t wait for the Snow to melt brother. Can only dream til April, thanks for all of the great feedback and C7 videos. Would love to try the filter. Looking forward to your C8.
I dont think that blue filter does anything special. When you change the air filter, you simply allow for better combustion. Therefore you would get the same results (10hp gain) by getting any new filter.

Installed Attack Blue filter in 2014 C7 Z51, it’s really hard on the rear tires, had to gain at least 10 to 20 hp. Worth the $$$$

This was done with a stingray and the only difference was you had better throttle response. But no horse power.
Roger Millard Doesn’t surprise me at all. The forced induction helps big time.

Have you ever tested the GM “Jake” air box and their Nano filter? I heard numbers over 10 hp? Was your 2009 ZO6 an automatic or manual?

Nice. My stock 2019 Z a8 on a mustang dyno in 65 degree at sea level was 558hp best pull. What dyno did you use?

Most of the dyno runs I have seen on channels loose 50 hp between rated and wheel hp. Yours showed a 95 hp loss. Was everything set up correctly?
