+Martin Heald Thank you Martin for your positive comment! 👍 Nice name you got! 😊 A updated layout video is in production and will be released September 22 at 06:00am. 😄 Stay tuned!
Very Nice Layout! I am very fond of the Swedish railroad theme. I wish more Swedish rolling stock and locos were available in O scale size. Keep the great videos coming. You are providing a good service. Skol! Ron
Yes, I run my O scale outside. I am building a new layout now, posting my progress on my channel. My Swedish roots are from Örebro, in central Sweden, I visit Sweden many times. I enjoy your channel. You provide good tips, and have a magnificent layout. You should provide a video tour of your layout so viewers can get a understanding of multiple levels and cities on your layout. Keep up h great tutorials. Skol!
Your work is wonderful, but P-L-E-A-S-E can we have slow starts and stops - every time. Trains are massive, and start and stop according to 'demented mouse' theory. Starts that would rip a real train in two, and probably sort out the crew in the process, are for other than Marklin..... Bad boy.. Imagine smashing into the buffer like that (not a Marklin buffer I trust). One would hope that most model railroaders do not drive their cars the way they drive their trains. I watched our equivalent of an MX start a heavy train one day. The throttle setting shook the ground, and shook it for half a minute or so - then it almost imperceptibly began rolling and accelerating. It was a masterclass in controlled engineering; and it was mildly un-nerving. Having smiled through a good whinge, I still enjoyed your video; I enjoyed it thoroughly. On replicating the inertial mass (is that a valid expression?) of the real thing, tuning up the 30xx, 31xx, and 33xx analogue models is an interesting subject. My EMD/Nohab M61 (you have a yellow example) is about the best running model of anything I have ever seen anywhere with anyone; and that is analogue on simple rheostat control. Be encouraged. Anyway; now I suppose I will be in trouble. Gotta go. Now where is that snail that's been following me around all day? PT
What do you need to run digital locos on your layout , C-track with feeders?? I have 2 digital locos now , yet to be tested , I heard that the old 32v Transformer could cause problems with the digital locos , I would very much appreciate your answer to this question , because i don`t won`t to ruin my locos .
1:18.....is that lumber in the car ahead? ( you mention a sawmill a bit later, so I feel that's a safe assumption ) man, there is not a lumber company on the planet that would ship lumber that loosely. That stuff would be banded up just as tight as could be.
+zeichnerkollege Hi! No, I think catenary limits the play-value too much. It looks great, but.. no.. I'm happy just having the poles up indicating electric drive.
I use IR-LEDs under the locos and IR-sensors in the track. However, if I got another chance I would have used the original contact track instead. The IR-LED works perfect, but often friends come over bringing their locos and they cannot run in the system without the LED under. It´s solved by having cars with LED under, but.. It´s not perfect...
By the original contract tracks you went these www.amazon.de/M%C3%A4rklin-24994-Schaltgleis-gerade/dp/B0000WOKAY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1455235247&sr=8-1&keywords=24994 right?
Thank you very much Andrew! Good to hear that you like the videos! (y) No worries! I aim to make 200+ videos over 3 years. I have 8 videos in production currently and manus ready for 16 more... So there is more coming. :)
+Andrew Skilling Thank you Andrew. More is coming! My head is full of ideas and the positive feedback boosts my energy to turn the ideas into reality. :)
Hi all your model train guys...... running Z & N & H0 and bigger as a HOBBY ... trying to get as realistic as possible with the speed of trains and sound and the layout structure & scenery is very impressive. Now at many exhibition layout's all over the world, get all of us model train enthusiast jealous, is one item disturbing me........ ELECTRIC CATENERY ...........The most useless spider web on a layout not even been used by the lowered pantographs of the """ ELECTRIC "locos. Please stop pretending you run Electric locos with the most sophisticated electronic not touching the overhead wire!!!! Sorry but I am the modeller from 1955 running now AC MFX on M track with no catenary and no E Locos . Greetings Harry
Very nice video.......and big respect from Zagreb/Croatia!
+Tomislav Anić Thank you! 👍👍👍😊
Marvellous!!! You are just too good in railroad work and thank you for all the knowledge you share with us
Thank you Madhu! 👍😊

+Ron Karlsson Thank you very much for commenting and your support! 👍👍👍 So you run 0-scale? Great fun! Very demanding for space though...

As always nice video and nice details on the layout :)

@marklinofsweden: do you digital control you switches? And do you only use “M-gleis” ?
Very nice. I saw you are using Rocrail, what do you use for The Block occupancy devices? Thank you

Things are coming along very well! Did you make the wall at 6:40 in the video or did you buy it?
+arnold894 Thank you Arnold! :) The both the walls are engraved/cut from Styroform sheets.. A lot of work... :P
You use Rocrail too. I think it is great. Robert
Are Marklin start up couplers The normal coupler compatible?
2:42 Stay with somebody who looks like you this lovely machines!
What brand of locomotives are on this layout?
Märklin brand mainly
Are you planing a catenary? The new Märklin one?
+zeichnerkollege Hi! No, I think catenary limits the play-value too much. It looks great, but.. no.. I'm happy just having the poles up indicating electric drive.
Hei, hva slags action kamera bruker du?
Det är en Sony HDR Z mini. Tyvärr ej längre tillgänglig i butik..
Ser att det är de gamla spåren? Hur får du de att åka så tyst?
+Warye McSwagger ッ Jag använder en ljuddämpande filt under spåren. Se tutorial:

+Horacio Abbona Hi! I use a Sony AZ-1 mini. Very pleased with that one.
+marklinofsweden dis Norway model Tog .
could you make a review on your rail bus ???
Nice Video..i like it
Do you control your whole layout with rocrail or just the turn table?
+MeckiBoy :D Hi! Rocrail Controls whole layout. It works very good.
Thanks for the reply and oh what kind of sensors do you use?

Men de är som digitalt hur fixade du de?
+Warye McSwagger ッ Man kopplar in den digitala körkontrollen till banan och så är allt klart. Eller hur menar du?
marklinofsweden men hur gör du de med de gammla spåren å då kan man då köra med de gammla loken?
